I am greatly dissatisfied with what happened with my reservation. I reserved a 6X12 utility trailer with a ramp for June 15th. When I arrived with my father to get said trailer the employees informed me the internet was down and that they could not find my reservation. I opened my email to prove I had reserved the trailer and there was an email that I had picked up my trailer June 14th and had returned it. This was frustration as I had not gotten the trailer the day prior and the employee could not tell me if I had been charged for this. I am checking my account to make sure there is no charge as I did not get a trailer. It is also worry-some that anyone can walk in and get another person reservation. My name is very unique so there is no way this was a simply mix up with names. When I informed the employee I had not picked up the trailer I was told I would have to re-reserve another trailer. At this point my father was also frustrated with customer service and how my reservation had been handled.

Only thing I can mention is maybe upgrade the audio in the trucks to allow for Bluetooth Connectivity from Mobile Phones since the radio isn’t really up to par and wouldn’t pick up much reception at all or was rare!

Was shorted milage when I rented the truck. Uhaul only Allows enough miles to get you around 30 miles from the drop off. Then charges you per mile for the 30 miles that Hhaul shorted you when you pick up the truck UHAUL SCAMMING HONEST CUSTOMERS!

2 out of 3 of your representatives were very rude to the customers. The lady behind the counter was rude to every customer she interacted with unless it was with her regulars as she called them. If she was part of management I understand why the rest of your employees act that way. You had a guy from IT working on the computers that if he is honest could verify this information. The only one that had any respect for customers was the one that checked me in he was very courteous and respectful when he checked me in. Someone needs to have a talk with your employees that that they are not doing us a favor

Just keep the same group working there and things'll be great! Even with 4 busses suddenly showing up, 6 uhauls returning (me included), and someone picking one up all at 6:45pm when they close at 7pm, they worked their hardest to make sure I was involved and taken care of.

Fix yalls trucks felt very unsafe driving the truck I couldn't take it back to get new one they was closed the front end felt like it was about to fall out on acceleration and on braking I drive semis for a living if that was my rig dot would most likely shut you down awful told the guy that works there about it he seemed like he didn't care I will never do business with uhaul again and will tell everyone to stay away

I returned my equipment 5 minutes before closing. It was raining. Worker was clearly upset. The worker (Kevin) was using profanity under his breath. The f-bomb was dropped a couple of times. Clearly I was not impressed. He did his job and I was on my way at 4:59 still 1 minute before closing.

Hire a new manager. The red headed curly haired woman who runs the location would have preferred my husband, myself, and our two children to pull an unsafe car carrier all the way to Texas because we inconvenienced her by letting her know we wanted a new one because the one they gave us was unsafe. Once we hit 45 mph the trailer started to bounce and shake our entire truck. It was not a safe situation so my husband returned it and asked for a new one. She made it clear it was fine and didn't care to entertain my husband's concerns and the unsafe nature of it. We ended up receiving a new car carrier but she was unpleasant and could have cared less about our safety. She's rude and abrasive. You should really reevaluate who you have running your business.

When people are moving that don't have time to read everything on that freaking pamphlet. No one every told us we needed to check the truck in after hours using the phone. After you pack a truck, drive all day and then unpack a truck; reading all that small print is the last thing you do. I wouldn't have killed myself to return it on the day it was suppose to be there had I known I would be charged an extra day!

The woman who helped us was extremely rude to my husband. She also said our lights were "good to go" but they weren't working. I extended our rental by a day through the 800 number, then the local office called me to bring it back even though we had paid for the extra day.

I have rented from them twice. From my experiences, I question if they know how to maintain the trailers. The first time I had a flat tire, which could happen for many reasons. The second time, the hydraulic brake froze burning out the tire. The tire guy said it was lack of maintenance. It was hard to slow down with a frozen brake. The experience added 21 hours to the trek. The manager was cold and had to be argued with and told to stop interrupting to get any type of credit. If you must use them, keep the rental local.

Plenty of furniture pads, however the company I hired, through U-Haul, (Jonathan's) did not use them and my furniture was scratched and broken. I think the number of containers was okay, however the movers did not pack the boxes using available space. They hurried through the last box and we were not able to take everything!

The location was great. However when I had to call customer service to confirm the time I needed to return the truck I called the location number but spoke to a customer service center. I had to call twice, and both representatives told me a different time to return the truck, one stating the truck needed to be returned by 4pm, and I’d have to pay an additional $47 for overage, the other staying I had until 5pm. Once I got back to the location 10mins after 4pm, the location advised I wouldn’t have any overage and everything was good to go. Definitely appreciate Jordan and Kevin at this location!!

This is a very busy place. If you have that many customers waiting in line, you need more people to wait on customers.

I cannot begin to explain the headache I've had with this location. Not only was the first trailer unusable (it broke and I had to bring the trailer back with zero compensation for my hour of time and gas it took to drive a 26' truck, fully loaded with all of my household goods, while pulling a broken trailer) but the 2nd car trailer straps released during the first leg of my trip causing the vehicle to bounce back and almost slide off the trailer into my wife's car who was directly behind me. If not for the chain around the axle, there would surely have been a major accident and possible deaths of my wife and children. I had to drive my car the rest of the way from Oklahoma to California and what this location thought was acceptable was to give me a $150 certificate towards a future rental. $24m question is why I would ever rent from Uhaul again?

Personnel was very helpful and clear about rental instructions and rules. Truck was in great condition. Returning vehicle was no hassle and was down on the lot in 5 minutes. If I ever need another rental I will certainly return to this location.

I have tried to contact the manager of this location. I was given incorrect dangerous advice from this location. I was sold a hitch system for my car and told I had a 4,500 max tow rate. I now have found out that my Jeep has a zero tow rating which I found out from another trailer sales place and verified from a Jeep Dealership. I also was told I could haul the largest cargo trailer that you rent which would have affected my cars engine not to mention possibly causing an accident and injury. I have written proof of all this and a print out from a Jeep Dealership. I want an immediate refund of the over 300 dollars I also spent four and a half hours waiting to have it installed . This dealership took my money and my time and could have risked my life.

I had rented the uhaul closer to the area I was working because of convenience. They had changed the location to over 30 miles away where I had to pick it up. This ended up costing me an extra 60 miles or so that I wouldn't have had to travel in turn costing me 60 to 70 dollars more then I had planned. I think when we have to travel extra to get the uhaul we should be able to get leeway or split the mileage with us so we don't have to pay for all that mileage. I'm a 18 wheel driver who moves customers all over the U.S. and when I can't get my truck near the customer's new house I have to get the uhaul to transfer there furniture from my truck to the uhaul what we in the business call a shuttle. I feel as if I'm a loyal customer and I'm sure there are plenty other loyal customers. If we could get some or even all our mileage covered when we have to go to a different location then originally planned seems to be fair to me. If there could be a compromise for this that would be greatly appreciated. On a side note I'm super happy with my relationship with uhaul as is the reason I am a loyal customer. This issue is really the only thing I could see needs attention. Thank you.

Customer service could be deeply revisited. The staff was slightly below basic in people skills, telephone communication was horrible to impossible, and the computer system/website used by uhaul is very confusing and I’ve been wrongly charged both times at this location.

The truck engine acted up after I had loaded. It would not accelerate and had two check engine lights on. I called road service. I restarted the truck with them on the phone and found that it now would accelerate but still had a check engine light on. Road service suggested I check the oil but I could not find the hood latch. I drove on to my destination. After unloading when I started the engine again, all check engine light were off and the engine performed normally the rest of the day. The other problem was that there was an extreme amount of vibration especially at 30-35 mph like a tire was badly out of balance. The ride was very rough.

Make sure trucks have gas before person picks truck up. Didn’t have time when I got there for them to run and do it and me have to wait. So I do e it myself and they gave credit for the gas that was in truck upon returning which was good. But big in convenience if you ask me. The lady that helped me was very friendly.

A few things. The big one is the drop off location required. Manchester TN Uhaul is begging for trucks. They are having to turn people away because they do not have enough trucks. Yet when I asked if I could drop the truck that I rented off in Manchester, TN ( It is literally within walking distance of my house) I was told that I could if I would be willing to pay an extra $140.00 !!?? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. You are going to charge ME extra for helping out the local dealer that needs trucks. Are you out of your minds or is the customer service people smoking the medicinal? So I drove the extra miles and used up half my day to drop off the truck at the "required" location. It would have been a win for the local dealer and myself if I dropped it off in Manchester. You people need to get on the ball.

A bit concerned about the photo-copying of the Drivers License. I understand the reasoning but the DL # and name should be enough. I have never had my personal data compromised but know people who have. I work with some very large companies who work tirelessly to prevent a data breach, yet it has happened. This will be something I consider when I need another rental.

The employees for this reservation were exceptional. The only thing I would improve on was the call I received confirming the reservation. I received the call on Saturday at 7:30 in the morning. I am an early riser, but a lot of people are not. My reservation time was 2:00 that afternoon. I would suggest calling to confirm the reservations at 8:00 in the morning not before. I had just woken up went I received the call. In my opinion, that is entirely too early for the weekend. I could understand calling at 8:00 just not before. I have used Uhaul several times and have always had a good experience.

The truck I rented had been smoked in so much it actually made it very difficult for me to breath. I had lung cancer and felt I was putting my health in jeopardy riding in this vehicle! If I ever rent another truck I would make sure to rent one from a company that does not let people smoke in them! No one can know the risk that I felt . Thank you

Working with this facility was an absolute nightmare. You will never be able to call and speak to the store, you will always have to go down there to speak to anyone. They were incredibly rude also.

I did not keep the unit and rated below average because there was no light. I had to use a lantern, flashlight or my cell phone flashlight in the unit which was very inconvenient.
