Angelica E.The self check in process was difficult. The guy with the keys would not help at all. He wouldn't even do anything other than direct me to the front desk. I stood at the front desk and this guy was friendly. He told me the check in guy had the keys. I went back out and he didn't even attempt to look for the keys. I go back in to the office and the guy has to page him and direct him to do his job. He finally finds the keys. The truck had a lot of damage and possibly bad shocks.

Waiting 15 minutes, still have not received an email. I went into the office to get a printed receipt and there were 5 customers ahead of me in line. I left after 10 minutes.

Omar S.Truck had no gas at all. We barely made it to gas station. We did not receive the credit we were quoted for fuel credit of $51 if we brought the truck back with 1/4 of a tank of fuel. The cashier/customer service rep was extremely rude in her work voice. We were disputing the credit we were supposed to recive and the chargebwas supposed to be on hold and we were charged anyway. Someone needs to contact me to give me the credit we were quoted.
Sherman B.The lady that helped me out charged me for the insurance service when I creamery told her I didn't want it. Not to mention she helped out the clients while I patiently waited and kept talking bad about he staff! Saying that she was left alone in the office! That they never listen to her, etc. As a customer I really don't care, I just wanted to get out of there with my rental ASAP

Adam M.-Pricing Online is different than calling in. Confusing. - On one call the person said no extra charge for extra day except for mileage but upon visiting the store she said there will be a charge plus mileage. Other than that, the overall ease of reservation and self return online is so easy and simple.

MICHELLE R.There was an issue with the fuel level of the truck when it was picked up, showed empty. The U Haul rep stated that the fuel was probably stolen the night before and applied a fuel credit once I refueled the truck and returned it later in the afternoon. Other than that the truck served its purpose and U Haul personnel were friendly and professional.

Oscar G.I requested the share program, hoping everything could handled online. I was under the impression that once I got there, the truck would be waiting and thst I could pickup a go. No...after attempting to locate my truck, I was told that I had yo go inside. It's not a big deal, but it is. I ended up going inside and having to wait 15 minutes for the person ahead of me to finish. That's fine, but don't advertise the share program if it's not honored.
Randy E.Was given a truck a wouldn't start because it was out of gas. The second truck was on empty also and was shaking like it was going to break down. I left drove to my storage unit, decided I didn't wanna break down or run off of gas so I returned the truck within 30 minutes. I was still charged, didn't even use the truck to move a single box.

Matthew M.I think its ridiculous to ask for two other names to rent a truck. My wife was there with me and we gave her name/contact number. Was told they need another name/contact number. Makes no sense - We could totally lie and give a fake number or something. Complete waste of time. From arrival to leave - Took almost 50 mins - Waited almost 30 mins in parking lot waiting for my truck/auto transport. Ridiculous. Hire more staff to accommodate people. Much needed improvement to process. Not very happy let alone the ridiculous 0.89 cents a mile charge - Used not even a 1/4 tank roundtrip - Almost 67.00 charged - Ripping people off
Brent S.I went to drop off the trailer. I was told to go to the back trailer area where I picked it up. I did. I waited a few minutes before dropping it myself and putting it in a spot. I then drove around until I found a worker and told him I dropped it off and he took the equipment ID from my receipt and said he'd handle it. As I was driving away I called the office for this location and spoke to a woman informing her of the same thing and she said no problem she'd handle it. The next morning I get an email saying I was billed another day rental and that I turned it in this morning. That was really irritating and somehow I just knew that was going to happen, hence me even calling. Still happened anyway. I took video from my dashcam thankfully just in case but this should not happen, period.

This particular time, had to wonder all over parking lot because cargo van was not where i was told it was . parking spots do not have numbers and there is no staff around other than the guy checking in returned trucks.
Esther S.FYI, the gas tank siphon valve that is connected to the gas tank was loose. It appears that someone siphoned the gas out of the tank. When I got down the street and put gas into the tank I noticed the disconnected valve and had to return to the Uhaul center. Gas was spilling out as I drove. They pounded it into the tank with a hammer. I do not fault anyone at Uhaul, but recommend that it be checked by Uhaul personnel before a customer leaves the yard.

prince W.Online check in seems pointless. I still had to go in and still had to wait in line. The longest amount of time was waiting for someone to help me out back where the trailers were. They told me someone was en route to meet me when I completed check-in but after waiting 10 minutes nobody came. I went back to propane and asked them to page someone and then went back and someone arrived to help.

josie c. | Overall ExperienceIt didn't seem very secure, you could enter the building without a key card since the door was always unlocked. I never saw any security or employee around. As far as cleanliness, there were always spiders and spiderwebs in my unit. It seemed like they never fumigated.

The staff specifically ridiculed my fiancé's payment method during a national pandemic while the storage manager giggled beside her. My fiancé called the corporate number and filed a report but nothing ever became of it and there was no follow up. Afterwards, we still received harassing phone calls from unprofessional staff. I will never deal with this company again after how my fiancé and I were treated. I'd rather lose all my items in storage, than deal with unprofessional staff, uncaring management, & bad business practices. This behavior for a business can never be acceptable and I will advise anyone who will listen against using your company.

And I told the lady at the counter my husband gave the keys along with the keys to the truck we rented. Why didn't she tell me at that point that the keys and lock were mine?

However, the new location for pick up was closed also. I drove from San Diego to Redlands only to know that my truck was not prepared and have to stay overnight for next day pick up. Totally disappointed with the service and the waste of time.
