The vehicle I ordered was not available at the time. I was in a pinch so I had to take what was there and pat more. Service was not very friendly. My booking experience was very bad. I booked a 10' truck due to ceiling hight of 5'10" needed for 1 item to move. They put me down for a 15' truck, which was empty and more expensive that I didn't want! I took it because I had to, but I should only be charged for a 10' truck and not 15'. The General Manager who assisted me with my reservation was rude and I felt that he was profiling me in the transaction, insinuating that I might steal the steal the vehicle and he needed me to provide him a local address in addition to my only address that I had already provided. I had provided him my CDL and an American Express Credit Card, explained that I do not live in the state. I am in the area for work. He was very rude and said that we would have to "agree to disagree".. yet he still rented me the vehicle. I had just rented a UHAUL from another location a few days prior and this information was not needed, nor was I insulted or profiled by the staff. i was told my truck had 5/8 tank of gas it did not. I drove 33 miles and then put in 3.4 gallons of gas. When I returned the truck the attendant checked it in and said everything was great. Later when I got my emailed reciept It showed he charged me for 2 more gallons of gas. It was a 10 ft van. your lot attendant was a zero for customer service. and he did a great job of ripping me off.John L.

The guy who helped me was not properly trained nor did he seemed like he wanted to work there. I came into the store with him taking a nap. I had issues accessing the Uhaul site when picking up the vehicle to confirm condition, gas level, etc. I returned the vehicle after hours and was unable to complete the checkin process via app after 3 unsuccessful tries. I was booted out of the system at uploading photos of condition of vehicle. Upon receiving my receipt/invoice, it was noted 3 gallons of gas had been added to my bill. The truck was returned with the same amount of fuel as was checked out to me. When contacting the location they were unable to discuss it with me and I was referred to corporate customer service. There was a 40-50 minute wait; however I was able to leave a contact number and my call was returned. Although I had taken 3 photos of the dashboard in trying to complete the return process which was aborted each time, I was unaware the photos were only in the app and not retained on my phone. Therefore, I had no photo to confirm the gas gauge level. I did, however, have a photo of my gas receipt confirming my returning the level to original. I am disappointed that coincidentally the mileage matched however the gas level did not upon checking at the store, that the store could not rectify this situation and that the case is still pending as the customer service center rep also was unable to correct an approximately $30 mistake. I have used Uhaul many times in the past and have never had any issues or challenges and am very disappointed.Melanie D.

Well it starts off by the first vehicle that I was issued had a running issue it was misfiring or had some kind of drivability issue where I knew it was going to be using more gas than you needed to the second vehicle had the same issue to put it but the driver's door wouldn't shut all the way so you constantly hurt air coming in or if it was raining water came in also I think I was way overcharged for my rentalJoshua P.

I was served by Jacqueline Brown when I was returning the van. When I was turning in, she shouted at me to not turn in, causing me to make a dangerous U-turn with a huge van right at the narrow junction. After a difficult experience checking out with her, I realised that she charged an extra day to my rental. I approached her about it, and was advised by her to go into the store to ask for a refund. That took me another 20 minutes of waiting in the line before finally getting my money back. Overall, Jacqueline Brown was not doing her job right and I would like to lodge a complaint against her. I greatly appreciate the effort and offer Francis made to allow me to stay a little longer before moveout. My life since April 2020 has been the most financially, physically, and mentally challenging in my 60 year life thus far. I gave away a lot of good furniture in the facility's community area, as well as a few items to a U-Haul employee. You hold out, hoping things turn around in your life, and nothing happens. My storage unit was broken into and when I told the employees they didn’t have any cares they just told me a manager would and the manager never called I went to him about a week and half later and he tells me I am waiting o. The Manager and the male behind the counter that assisted me were communicative prior to my arrival, when I arrived and during the time I was there. They were very attentive to my need, let me choose my space from a map he has highlighted prior to my arrival, I let him know what I needed and he pointed my to the best one available that met my needs. I had been stressing out about the move because I sold my house and promised to be out for the buyers by 8/31 but my escrow still have closed on my new home so I had been staying up until 2-3am the few days before the actual move day and was running behind schedule. They were very accommodating and changed the MI date from 8/31 to 9/1 and gave me a few hours grace period on the truck return. They put me at ease had that had a really positive impact on my move into storage. Sal the check in attendant was excellent as well. With no cameras and no Solid ceiling I had $20,000 worth of bicycles removed out of my storage through the wire roof I don't know when This happened I have not been to my storage in over a year but I got a phone call from the facility saying there's a possible break in so I was able to send a friend to look and there's a big open spot on the floor where the bikes were and a big opening in the chicken wire ceiling. Because of the value of the bikes I called the police they went and investigated and there were no cameras up in the ceiling so there's no evidence of who took them Will it be in an air condition controlled facility I understand they might not be able to secure The ceiling or they would have to have some ventilation in the ether individual room but there's no excuse not to have video coverage above the unitsdavid michael f. | Overall Experience
