We had no problems with the locations but had several problems with the customer service on the phone with Uhaul representatives. They changed our pick up location and did not inform us. We changed our drop off a week before but you all never changed it in the system. We are still pending charges $100 more because it's showing the drop off charges for the previous location. You have to wait 20 plus minutes to try to speak to anyone.

Customer Service was not knowledgeable when I called and was annoying on the phone talking to her self and making discouraging sounds. Just when I thought she might be able to solve my problem she'd say “I can't” something is up with the system today. After being totally useless, she put me on a quiet hold. I was on the line over 1 hour and 13 minutes before the Call just ended on her end.

There was a tack in the tire before we even drove the truck. I was told that I could call roadside assistance. They told me that it was now under my contract so I had to call and deal with it. No help what so ever.

I was extremely disappointed in my experience. I had set up a reservation a few days in advance of when I would need the truck. I also reserved a utility dolly which that location did not have. I believe if something is reserved well in advance then the location should make sure that item is available. The insurance I saw on the website was $10 and I was charged $14. I didn't get my original reserved time and the employee adding time on my rental didn't know how to add up to 4 hours and put it at 3 hours of use. This was a horrible experience all around and I will never use this location and I most likely will not use Uhaul again period.

I was barely under half tank where I was too put back to half tank and got charged $43 for that so I thought that was absolutely ridiculous, so I don't know what could be done to fix that but it should be looked at

I rented a pick up truck and was over charged on my rental. I didn't call back in because I didn't take pictures of the gas hand nor the mileage. I filled the truck back up to the halfway mark and was still charger. He put on paper that I didn't fill it up. I'm not gone to give myself a headache on it but I'll never use this location again. I'll let everyone know at the trucking company I work for about this location so they won't get in the same predicament I'm in.

Took almost an hour to get my truck, they didn't have anything I reserved to go along with it in the truck. I called to confirm the truck had a ramp. It did not. I was running so late after them taking an hour to get me a truck, I didn't have time to check for the extra stuff. Made moving a heck of a lot harder. Don't recommend. The one in garland is much easier.

No one in this location seems to give a flip about the customer. Every time I have been in there, I feel like I am interrupting them in some way or other. I used to use this location for my needs, but every time, there were problems on length of rental because they didn't seem to listen. That is why I moved my business to the other location, even though this is closer to home. I REALLY would prefer to do my complete transaction with the Samuel location.

The General Manager curses to his associates and about other customers in front of customers waiting in line. While waiting in line today he used the words “fucking lady, she can wait i have a line” and to the associate , an older white man, “shit, i have a line. You can come help”. He is demeaning to his associates and talks to people as if they are stupid. This has been the worse experience I've had with your company. They double billed me and never told me. I had to go back to get it fixed and a nice young man name Keith was so nice and helpful but needed help from the manager who talked to me as if it was my mistake. I would never recommend this location.

During the reservation pickup, the 2 people including the gm seemed like they didn't wanna be there. There was problems with the website and uploading the customer license which they seemed frustrated about. During the trailer hookup the guy couldn't get it on. I stepped in and started doing it and the gm came over to pop it on and told me not to do it let his guy do it. Which I get for insurance purposes. But his guy couldn't do it. Then he also wrapped the wire through the chain, which shorted out the lights and I had to go back and get a replacement wire. During drop off, there was a different set of people who were all nice and professional. I am a retail manager myself, so I get bad days and stuff happens, but I guarantee none of my customers ever experience that.

Paid for climate control and it was never climate controlled had to throw out a lot of stuff due to moisture and mold the lighting system sucked it would only stay on for so many minutes and then cut off you have to keep walking back-and-forth to turn the lights on would be better if there was lights inside the storage unit itself

The guy who helped me at first was only guy there. He was already busy but he just kept steady and on task at hand. He was helpful and friendly. I just feel it's so hard to get good customer service any longer. He even found another storage building when the one I booked online wasn't going to work due to size of equipment I was going to have to store. He just went back to computer and looked for one.

I did not actually see the inside of the facility. I had words with the person working there. I drove from Fate, arriving at 6:55pm according to my iPhone. The entrance was already locked prior to 7:00. I just needed to get my key so I could store some items. The woman was checking in a truck and ignored me, then told me that she helped the last customer at 7:00pm and there was camera footage proving it. I was pretty angry, as I was moving the next day. The woman got right up in my face (according to friends waiting in a car). Even if I was angry, it was totally unprofessional of her to escalate the situation. My friends thought that she was going to get violent and considered calling the police. I ended up having to rent a truck at a cost of over $800.

The woman who was working there said she helped the person before me at 6:59pm and that I got there after 7pm. I raced to get there before 7 and did get there at 6:57pm. She said she couldn't help me because it was after 7:00 when I got there. She asked if I wanted to see camera footage and I said yes. She did not show me. I explained that I had to be out of my house in the morning. She said there was nothing she could do. I said that I tried to call and that someone should answer the f***ing phone. Then she got aggressive and said since I was rude she wasn't going to help me at all. I've worked in retail and know that you are supposed to try to de-escalate, not confront the customer and make it worse. My friends were watching from another vehicle and said that the employee got right up in my face and looked like she was about to hit me when I walked away. I will never go back there and want a refund for the insurance. I will attempt to find another place to rent a truck in the morning. I'm sure she will tell a different story, but if you look at her camera footage , you will see that she locked the door early. You have definitely lost my business and I will tell everyone not to use the Mesquite location.

When I initially rented the unit, I was not informed it was up stairs or an inside unit, also I was charged a full month's rent because U-Haul does not do pro- rates even though I checked all of my belongings out on April 3rd, this policy needs to be changed! U-Haul is ripping people off

The manager was very unprofessional and would give out personal information. My payments were always submitted to the bank 2 months later then I paid. And when I would call they would never pick up it was always forwarded to Corp office who could not help me.

I came in about 10 to 15 minutes before closing because I came from the other location on Jim Millerand 175 and was told they didn't have any storages left so he told me where the closest one was but other than that angel at the Jim Miller location was not very friendly at all, but back to my visit to the gross road location everything was very satisfactory and even though I came in so close to closing the guy, and I am sorry I can't remember his name was very helpful and very nice

The deadline for being out of my storage unit was March 27, 2010, in get the first 30 days free. We were out of there on the 27th and I told the lady in the office. She said, "No charge." I did not think I needed a receipt. A couple days ago we got an email from the company saying we owed for the month of April. I called the facility today and they said there was no charge, the account was closed. So it seems there is a failure in communication between the local unit and the main office. I don't appreciate getting a bill from Uhaul that I do not owe. Lloyd Gregory

Rented climate control until and after almost 4 years in storage, to my amazement, only a few things were damaged. I recommend uhaul. No rodent damage, just heat or humidity.
