My contract was for drop off in Sebastian FL. I was not allowed to drop off in Sebastian and was forced to drive an additional 25 miles, at my expense, to drop off in Melbourne / Palm Bay FL. This is not acceptable. If Sebastian was not available the on-line system and the pick up location should have advised me. It leaves a very bad taste for Uhaul.Gary G.

This location needs more workers, so customers can be assisted expeditiously. There was only employee manning the counter and lines as long as six- eight people waiting to pick up reserved trucks. He worked as quickly as possible but folks in line were anxious because the line was really long. Plus, it seemed as though there was only one person checking in trucks outside to make sure they were ready to be picked up. Stephanie and the other gentlemen at this office are working insanely hard. They were all very helpful and went above and beyond. However, the online booking system for pickup trucks is appallingly broken with unpredictable or non-existent returns. We showed up and the vehicle was not available because of a glitch in the reservation system; hours later, Stephanie and the team made everything right, but it was pretty awful with two small kids in the car to drive to the location and find that our booking was not available. Regardless, I can't praise the team enough for their helpfulness and amazing attitudes in their incredibly stressful and demanding environment.Johnathan B.

Stephanie was wonderful to meet and work with. I found her to be friendly, professional and went out of my way to help. Note: My truck reaked of cigarette smoke. I was told the product that is used to get rid of those smells were out of. It also needed to be cleaned better. Stephanie took care of that for me by getting some wipes and going over the inside of the truck again. I just felt they should not have rented out the truck if they were waiting on product and the truck was not completely cleaned. Other than that my experience was great.Stephanie C.

My unit got broken into twice and I lost all my belongings and seems like it was not cared about and when I went in last to talk to somebody before auction I was told to pay the balance and the only person they could talk to was my 16 yr old daughter who I listed as an emergency contact which she has no legal obligation to my contract and I asked if I could see what items where left due to the second break-in bc I was told it was pretty much empty as the first theft by a friend who rents a unit across from mine and was told I could talk to Tony the next day but he wouldn't want to talk to me bc there had been issues with him and myself I'n the past. I stopped your employee and informed him me and Tony have never spoke not got into it with one another and he looked at me as if I was crazy. I'm really upset about losing all my belongings due to theft and your employees seemed to not even be concerned and I lost everything and now I'm being way over charged . I don't think this is fair nor your business not provide a person with assistance in following up on 2 break INS so I will be contacting uhaul and making a complaint and reporting the actions being conducted as something seems odd and possibly being withheld information on what and who was responsible for the crime that was committed and how I was unheard and unit auctioned for 10 dollars and owing almost 600 and my everything stolen when I was told my belongings would be safe when I chose your facility.Brandy A. | Overall Experience

Lesson learned! The storage unit was not what we expected. My husband could not even stand up inside the unit. It says that the unit is 6 ft high and it is not. Because we are in a hurry (and moving) we had no choice but to take the unit. We are disappointed that when we rented the storage “locker” (which we did not know what that really meant) over the phone through uhaul it was going to be so difficult to get in and out of. For a good example, my husband could not even put his fishing poles in this storage unit. We have rented multiple storage facilities over the years, and this one will be a true lesson. We feel it is misleading and they should make SURE you understand the size before renting. The parking to unload is another obstacle as there is none really and only 1 door to access the building. Being on a budget, the prices for a second story unit were just right. However, upon inspection, I was shocked to find just how high the second story units were (the only reason they did not rate an "Excellent"), but they were all airy and spotless, as was the entire facility.
