First off change your policy if I am not driving more than 100 miles I should not be charged mileage. Second if my pick up location changes because some one didn't bring the truck back then uhaul should offer to bring one there or ask you the customer where is easiest for them or closest for the customer. Not just tell them hey we picked the next place for you to pick up a truck. Third when changing the location make sure the customer gets a email and a text to tell them the address to the new pick up or have a direct phone number to someone that can instead of them having to be on hold for up to an hour just to find out where there going to get there rentalBENJAMIN H.

Both at pick up and drop off UHaul gave me the incorrect address and location causing me serious stress as I had prepaid for the truck and was told I'd be charged if I dropped it elsewhere. That situation could have been avoided and caused me less stress. Moving is already stressful. Additionally the 30 minutes or longer wait time for a customer rep was ridiculous. I can understand from time to time but every time I called. I'm not happy about this experience at all but the lady to helped me when picking up the truck was wonderful.Crystal B.

Both pick up place, and drop off was horrible The pick up place the guy was very rude. We had checked in and paid. He told us to wait by the gate, then decided to wait on another customer. We went to ask him to come he made no effort. The customer even told him to go ahead to wait on us. He did not. Then after hooking us up he wired the blinkers on backwards which could have caused a major accident. Then dropping off the guy was very rude as well. He told us to park it did not help at all. My boyfriend had to unhook it and pull it to the spot. I honestly feel like I should get a full refund due to the poor service. - have the correct truck ready for pickup so customers don't have to wait an hour for someone to arrive to fix the problem - if the company has the number of the person who is renting the truck, call them first before the alternate contact and SECOND alternate contact. - if you cancel for roadside assistance, notify the person who is renting the truck instead of the ALTERNATE contact once again. We had difficulty locating our rental truck, husband went back inside 3 times & was given only verbal directions as to where the truck was, none of which was matching the tag or vehicle numbers on the trucks he was directed to. Finally the last trip back inside the guy came out to assist but was not knowledgeable. Picking up u haul should be given more personable assistance for good customer service..... Not just "here's your paperwork & your truck is the first one on this side of the building".... Very good experience. I've rented at other facilities. The store is well stocked with moving supplies and prices for boxes are cheaper than big box stores. The manager, Natasha Carr, helped me get a moving van for a day after another franchise canceled a two month reservation without warning. I'm forever grateful. Experience was good. One area that you could improve on is the check out process associated with returned U-Haul vehicles. As a storage unit customer, I had to wait on multiple occasions to get to my unit because of a vehicle being inspected at the entry gate. Seems like a logistics issue that can easily be rectified. At the time I rented the storage unit, I was assured that the first month was free and thereafter all additional payments would be automatically billed to the credit card on file. Then about the time the storage fee is due, I start getting all these phone calls stating that my payment is overdue. I go in to make the payment and I get charged a $15-20 late payment fee. That's when I am informed that autopay was never set up! Not a happy customer at this point. Is there anyone who's willing to remedy this? In addition, they said they sent me a receipt for my payment on storage facility. Never arrives in my email. Have to call back, stay on hold for 15 minutes, they email me a receipt but nothing to show what was billed to the card. Now, have to call back and request receipt again. I never got into my unit without having to wait. The access was ALWAYS blocked with trucks being returned, being clean out after return or just sitting in the driveway. I received a free 30 day storage unit. The owner/employee manually opened the gate for me and I enter the facility to unload/load my items into my newly acquired unit. Upon completion of unloading I proceeded to exit the storage. Prior to leaving I put my code (which was created & provided by the owner/employee) into the gate access kiosk & it opened. I returned the next evening around 8:18pm and my code was denied. Same code, same location. The only difference is it was the entry kiosk. The evening prior I used my code in the exit kiosk. I was continually denied access. I was told by the owner & it's also on their website, that access hours are 5am-10pm. I've been waiting almost an hour & have been on hold with corporate for over 30 minutes & counting. I had no problems from the facility... But when doors were replaced and locks were changed.. many issues afterwards all stemming from the poor quality of locks that were provided by uhaul... No management in place at facility to help.. still charged fully even though I couldn't access my belongings over a 3 month period. I requested a manager to call me, never received one...
