My experience overall was great. I used the app to get my rental and although it is convenient I feel it takes too long to process. I wish the app experience was a bit better or a faster outcome.Javier M.

Vehicle photos offered before renting the truck were not detailed resulting in disagreements when the truck was returned to Uhaul regarding condition. Truck was in reasonable condition but had many dings/dents that would have taken many minutes for us to document via photographs on the app, general photos of the vehicle were provided. We returned the vehicle in the same condition it was received and were accused of damaging the vehicle. Ultimately we were not charged for damage but I believe Uhaul should be aware of the condition of their vehicles before renting them and the picture should be updated to represent it's current state rather than it's manufacturing state. This experience lead to a less than satisfactory experience for us.RAYMOND A.

The customer is always right, and to have an employee argue with me was a bad idea. And to charge double for gas so 5.00 turned into 10.00 is bloody unethical. Or maybe it was because I'm white that I got charged more, I will never use or recommend this store to anyone.KERRY C.

There was a small puddle of water in the back of the van .Heather G.
Pick up was ok, but truck did not have a ramp which was not indicated on reservation spot online. The truck had the engine check light on which the guy said had been on for a month and it would be fine. It was fine but a little unnerving to drive with the engine light on. Return was a nightmare! Online return process after hours was terrible - you scan a qr code to go through the process. They require a pic of the odometer, but the UHAUL website would not let me take a pic to send to them! The link the guy sent me via text expired before my return time. UHAUL 1800 number indicated a 53 min wait time! I tried to instant message but they took forever to respond during the session. I finally got through to someone after 45 mins and emailed her a pic of the odometer; she said she noted it in my file but to check with the store the morning, which I did. The woman at the store in the morning was SO RUDE; no apology for the system not working correctly, just kept defending why they still charged me $20 for not checking in correctly. The 1800 lady did not update the system until after they put through the charge. I understood but just wanted my money back, after listening to her twice explain the excuse pretty rudely, I just said Am I going to get my $20 back? She finally said yes that I would see a credit. That's all I needed to hear, but she was really defensive and rude. I will NEVER do business with uhaul again!Michelle S.

YOUR APP DOES NOT WORK. YOUR APP IS TERRIBLE. YOUR APP IS AWFUL. YOUR APP DOES NOT WORK. IT DOES NOT ACCEPT UPLOADED PHOTOS FROM A BRAND NEW SAMSUNG. YOUR APP DOES NOT WORK.. IT IS AWFUL. i SPENT 45 MINUTES TRYING TO CHECK OUT WITH A TRUCK, NUMEROUS CRASHES, AT ONE POINT MY BRAND NEW SAMSUNG REBOOTED. YOUR APP IS TERRIBLE. FINALLY YOUR APP TOLD ME TO GO IN THE OFFICE, WHERE YOUR SOMEWHAT UNFRIENDLY STAFF TOLD ME I HAD RENTED THE TRUCK 15 MINUTES EARLIER. UNBELIEVABLE. YOUR APP IS TERRIBLE AND YOUR PROGRAMMERS ARE LOW FUNCTIONING MORORS. THEN, WHEN I RETURNED THE TRUCK, I UPLOADED 30 PICTURES OF THE ODOMETER WHICH YOUR APP REJECTED. ALL OF THEM. YOUR APP IS AWFUL. A COMPLETE AND TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. YOUR PROGRAMMERS ARE MORONS WHO HAVE NEVER ACTUALLY TRIED TO RENT ONE OF YOUR TRUCKS USING YOUR APP. YOUR APP IS AWFUL AND YOUR PROGRAMMERS ARE MORONS. My app would not accept my photo of my odometer and fuel amount when I was trying to return the vehicle after hours. After about 15 failed attempts at the app not accepting my photo, I gave up the process and was forced to pay the $20 convenience fee when a worker checked my vehicle back in the next morning. I felt ripped off because it was out of my control and there was nothing in the app to reach out if there was a problem.Badal R.

Promptly came out and checked in the truck and checked it over well. Informed me that I was over mileage by 12 miles and let me know exactly how much I would be billed extra and offered to get me a printed receipt. Excellent customer service.David G.

The customer service at the location was great but the check in process that I did online didn't mean anything since I had to go inside and do it all over again which took 25 extra minutes. That should be specified when doing the online forms, adding drivers ID etc when doing the reservation. I checked in online when I arrived and it kept saying pending approval. Then when trying to add pictures of the damage you can't connect to your photos which also should have been explained. I will be moving soon and will not be using UHaul in the future.Yvan B.
I was disappointed that when I refilled the gas tank til it was full it required 8.489 gallons @ 460 Oakland St gas station for a total of $28.01. I only traveled 43 miles so either the 5 miles per gallon is crazy or I was required to come back with a full tank and prior customer didn't??? Vehicle was clean and efficient. I did mention the gas mileage issue to the person checking me back in and he said sorry. The morning crew was very nice and detail oriented. I will be reusing this facility in early November and hope the milage is not an issue then.BRENDAN M.

Uhaul customercare told one thing and the store manager says another. I have an upcoming one way truck reservation and when I booked it it gave one month rental but then customer care told us we could move in today and the website also told when I entered the uhaul reservation number that my first pay will be on September 26. Waited for at least 10 min or so. One person working in the front, finally another person comes to help but he's not familiar with the process so had to end up waiting for the other lady anyways to help.
