The photos to verify and inspect were either showing the completely wrong equipment, or the wrong side of the vehicle. Otherwise the equipment was clean and well maintained and the staff was friendly.

There was a bit of wait when we got our van but the staff was working hard to make everything as expedient as possible. When we got our truck it was blocked in by another van, and the staff discovered that another coworker had taken the keys home to the van that had us blocked in. Instead of making us wait, we were upgraded to a larger van at no extra cost. The staff did everything in their power to make our experience a great one.

The windshield needed to be cleaned, but aside from that the truck was clean. The printout indicating how many gallons of gas I'd need to refuel was plainly incorrect â€" you have some weird bug in the algorithm that calculates those numbers. The trucks would be much nicer if you offered a bluetooth connection to the radio. Also the brights are way too dim. Lastly, you put a sticker over the speedometer, which is extraordinarily unsafe because it takes longer to read the speedometer when the speed limit is 75 and I have to glance at it every few seconds because the trucks have no cruise control. (Why is there no cruise control?)

I got charged $400+ dollars for like 30 hours. A large chunk being at $.99/ mile, which was not expressed to me until I was charged. These are absolutely crooked people for price gouging like this. My $19/day rental ended up being over $409. I should sue for false fucking advertising.

It was disappointing that the U-Haul rep could not offer any advice for a first-time user in terms of what sorts of straps and tiedowns are needed to secure various loads in the truck. Instead, I was told to go watch Youtube videos to gain that information. Aside from that, this location was great.

I reserved a truck from U-haul and scheduled help for loading it independently. I had already begun working in a different town so schedule was very important because I had to fly to town (Lubbock) to pick up the truck, load it, drive to Houston, and unload it before returning to work the following Monday. When I arrived they had my reservation, but chose to rent the truck I needed out to another person who made a later reservation than mine. It would have been understandable if the truck was due back before my reservation but instead they told the person who made the later reservation that they could keep it for several hours past my reservation. The individuals working the desk called the other individual who had the truck at the time and confirmed that I had made my reservation first and asked them if they would have it back by 4:45. That person stated yes. They then told me I could pick the truck up after 5. I requested for them to contact me as soon as the truck arrived back so I could come straight to pick it up and explained my situation to them. They stated they would do so but never did. When I arrived after confirming it had been returned myself by calling the national phone line, the truck was there but it had not been cleaned and was behind 4 or 5 other trucks that needed to be cleaned. They did go ahead and move it up in line, but it was after 7 by the time the truck was ready and the other items I had reserved where loaded. As I got in the truck to leave, I noticed the fuel level was below the 1/4 tank line it was supposed to be at. I went back in and they adjusted the level in the system. Once I finally was able to pick up the truck, it was dark, raining, and almost 5 hours past when I was reserved to get the truck in the first place. To make matters worse, it was also almost 8pm New Years Eve by the time I actually got the truck and could drive home so I no longer had help loading. By the time I was able to load everything by myself after the delay and lost help, it was the late Saturday evening and in the middle of an ice and snow storm which if I had been able to leave early in the day as scheduled I would have been able to avoid. The first three hours of the drive through bad weather unnecessarily put my family's safety at risk because of the delay. In addition, I now had to rent a hotel room for my family of 4 and dog because it was too late to make the whole drive. To add insult to injury, the choice, or error, that caused my reservation to go unfulfilled in a timely manner caused me and my family undue hardship and over $200 in extra expenses because of the unplanned hotel room expense (holiday weekend prices). In addition, the 2 bags containing the 12 moving blankets were short (5 in one and 4 in the other). I specifically asked if we needed to count the blankets when I was picking the truck up and I was told that “no, each bag has 6 blankets in it and that count was confirmed when they were bagged up.” My previous rental from a different location two weeks prior went very well. This reservation was anything but good. About the only good thing was the staff was at least courteous. When I rent the trucks for the future portions of this move and any later moves, I will be choosing differently.

The equipment was mostly clean, but the truck itself had some damage that was not immediately apparent and was not disclosed until I began to drive it and load it. The passenger mirror was cracked, and the mirrors were so dirty that they were hard to use until I cleaned them myself. The cargo area light was broken and since I was loading the truck at night it was a bit of an issue. I drove a Penske truck a similar distance the prior weekend and that truck was much better maintained. It had cruise control, a backup camera and additional safety technology the Uhaul did not have.

I will do anything I can never to use UHaul again. We spent over $2200 over the course of 4 weeks with you and had countless issues. From scheduling to pickup too storage changes to trailer connections, it was a very expensive nightmare.

The only thing I noticed this time was the vehicle was not ready when I arrived at my scheduled time. I had to wait about 15-20 minutes (maybe 30) before it was ready. Fortunately, my schedule was flexible and it wasn't a big deal.

Employees on Sunday were super nice. Monday crew was less friendly. The truck was clean enough but could have been clean. French fry on the floor looked like a drink spilled. There were several small damages that weren't marked. I sent pictures in the check out form but would have been nice if I could have trusted that I was not going to be held liable for them. But overall good experience.

I was having a hard day due to some unfortunate circumstances that had just occurred during my move that made me have to put my property in storage. She was so kind and it help to calm me down. Employees smoked marijuana on premises my storage unit smells of marijuana, employees were extremely rude and the facility is disgustingly filthy... I know its on the bad side of town but doesn't mean it needs to be that bad... I will never use uhaul again because of this facility.. they will not answer the phone when people call.. go ahead call that location.. they won't answer. Also I was stranded for 2 days with a flat tire in uhaul because they would not answer the phone...I cannot begin to explain the horrible time I had using this company...I should be compensated but I don't want to because that would mean I have to deal with the company even more...trash company

I've had 2 different storage units over the past 5 years. No problems there. The process of renting a truck and trailer has always taken well over an hour and/or having to pick up at inconvenient locations. While the staff are polite, the computers are notoriously slow and be ready to wait a long time in a line.
