We have used U-haul on a number of occasions throughout the years, but our last two experiences working with the Les Paul Parkway location has us looking forward to our next. The process was flawless and simple from reservation to return. This was our best U-haul experience yet!

Luckily I called the location prior to pick up because due to the size of the truck needed I needed to go to a different location. There was no email sent letting me know this. When I arrived I had to take a larger vehicle due to the size I had reserved hadnt been returned. The gentleman was kind and helpful and there was no extra charge.

The only comment is that your staff person on had a lot of business toward the end of the day. He was apparently sick with a respiratory condition and very fatigued. Scheduled to come back to work early the next morning. Nevertheless, we weee able to get our unit when we needed it most. Staff stayed after close to make sure this happened. We are happy!

I don't like the fact that I have to unhook the equipment myself and place in a spot. They have a return location just to scan the return of the equipment. I had to do the rest. Most locations do it for you.

I did the mobile 12/7 pickup, but my truck was not ready. I had to go inside and wait in line to ask for my key. Had to return inside to get a lock for the back. Truck said it needed air in front right tire & that the battery charging system needed service.(Noticed this after getting home with truck) The truck was dead the next morning-called roadside assistance. Thankfully they arrived in 40 minutes. The truck died on us again later that afternoon-luckily we jumped it ourselves. When returning truck, service person did credit me $30 for the inconvenience. I know staffing is tight right now, but it seems making sure the mobile 12/7 orders get priority & are ready to go. I could have arrived after the store closed-then where would I be?ðŸ˜-

Cuando rente una camioneta para moverme de indiana a Waukesha, me dijeron que tenían un storage gratis, y cuando fui a que me dieran la llave para storage me cobraron y me quitaron dinero de lo de mi renta, yo no tenía mucho dinero más que lo de mi renta, entonces me quitaron lo de mi renta, más aparte lo $64 del storage, sabiendo que según era gratis, entonces el banco me cobró un fee, por que yo no tenía mas dinero en mi cuenta.

Have someone gas up the truck rentals to a full tank so customers can take the truck and go to their move. It kind of soured the experience to find I barely had enough gas in the tank to make it to a station.

Went to pick up the truck and my reservation was not in the system. Guy kept saying We don't have you in our system. I made the reservation earlier in the day and showed my confirmation emails! My credit card was charged at time of reservation AND I also had to pay at pick up. I better see a credit on my Visa. Very frustrating!!!

My wife and I are one of many family's displaced by the potential building collapse in Waukesha, WI. Uhaul is providing a free months rent on a storage locker to any family being displaced. We found out we will more than likely be able to get our furnishings out, and I went to Uhaul to rent a locker from the Waukesha (Hwy 164) dealer and Tina could not have been more accommodating, helpful and kind. Her help was very much appreciated. We do not know when we will be able to retrieve our furniture and things, but I will definitely be trying to rent a truck from Uhaul as well. The employee that got me signed in and all of the registration taken care of seemed bored or annoyed when talking with me. Not a good first point of contact. I was frustrated that the truck I was given was about as far away from the doors as possible considering it was a cold, wet, sleeting day. When I got to the truck it had the big marketing sign in the front window and I had to figure out where to put that when my son got into the cab. Couldn't the truck have been prepped for pick up? The little things mean a lot in a customer facing business.

I dropped of my equipment on Saturday 12/4/2021 at 530 pm. There was a woman in there working (blond hair mid 30's early 40's). She rather rudely yelled across the sales floor for me to disconnect the trailer and she would email me my receipt. I thought it was odd and should of waited. I didn't not receive an email or a receipt till I went back to the facility on Sunday 12/5/2021. Once again I was met by a very rude woman with dark hair. I then had a question about my receipt and decided it was better to just let it be then deal with your unprofessional staff.

i rented a tow dolly for a day, cause i didnt know if the car would have issues getting on the dolly. i ended up not having an issue and was able to return the equipment in an hour and a half. i thought that uhaul seeing that i was way within the 4 hour rental that they would change the charge to 4 hours and not 24 hours. they did not. that would have been an excellant jesture of customer service and great public relations. would make people want to return and rent from them all the time.

It was my first time driving a17' UHAUL. IT was a little cramped in the cab but We managed to to get enough to get comfortable. I just wish the light in the back would have stayed on when You opened the back door on the truck instead of having one of the other doors every time it went out.

This business model is atrocious. I live right next to a u haul center, I see the trucks. I select that as my pickup location and was told no, go to mequon. Then at 6 in the morning I was texted to go to west bend, then again to go to Waukesha. As I drive out to Waukesha I see the right size trucks at the uhaul on the corner by my neighborhood. I then had to drive 30 minutes out, 30 minutes back, then start my trip. What a waste of my day because you guys can't figure out how to schedule vehicles for customers.

When I returned the truck the attendant at the desk said to just give him the key and he would send me an email receipt within 15 minutes. I gave him the key. He never checked me in and of course I never received the receipt. I had to contact customer service by email and they took care of it. The customer service group was excellent and responsive but the return experience was poor. On the other hand, when I picked up the truck for rental, I had a great experience.

It took an hour to pick up my trailer as there was just one person working the counter. Apparently the location manager stopped by at some point before I showed up, dropped off some snacks to the single employee working the counter and then left even though there was a line of customers. Will not be returning to this location. U-Haul needs to take cues from car rental companies and design a more efficient process for contracting for reservations.

The person that I turned the trailer over to told me to remove the trailer from my truck myself and that she would check it in then and email me the receipt. She never did that and I received an email the next day informing me of how to return the trailer. This was disturbing to me since I was told that she would take care of it the previous day and obviously, she did not.

I was told the total with insurance would be $38 and some change. I had to be back at 2:30pm the same day. I was back at 2:25 waited outside for 10 minutes for someone to unhook it. No one came like I was told there would be someone. Then after unhooking myself I went inside and waited again. Probably checking in at 2:40-2:45 maybe. And was charged a addition $20. The person at the store told he he had no idea why I was charged $59 and I was supposed to go back the next day and ask the morning staff. Overall everyone was kinda rude and not helpful.

I selected the option to pickup the vehicle without going in the store. However the key was not in the lock box and I had to go in the store and waited at least 20 min in line because there was only 1 person working the counter. When I got to the counter he just handed me the key. I was really frustrated for having to wait so long. Why was the key not in the lock box?

When I picked up the trailer it took 20 min to finish all the paper work. I reserved tye trailer online because I thought it would speed up the process but it did not. When I dropped the trailer off I parked in the droop off area. I thought someone would come disconnect it from my vehicle. After I waited out there for 10 min the lady just walked up and said to go park it in the lot. She did not disconnect it for me. I don't have any experience disconnecting trailers and it felt very unsafe. The trailer was heavy and almost rolled right into my car when I pulled it off the hitch. She should have helped me! Please hire better employees for this location.

Very hard to get into and out of especially with a larger truck My truck had a check engine light on it and I was told it was ok it was just an oxygen sensor. This affects gas mileage and at over $3 per gallon, it is not appreciated not having equipment running at its peak. The truck dripped/leaked something every time it was parked. Luckily I didn't park in our driveway which was lucky because the stains are still in the street. I made the reservation for the location that is where my storage unit was but was told I couldn't get it there I had to go to a different location. I was told on the phone that because of this I could get a 2nd day at no charge. When I inquired about the additional miles it would also take I was told there would be no mileage fees because it was an in-town reservation. This sounded weird but It was also great news. When I picked up the truck there were no notes in the system as to what I was told on the phone. I was given extra time for using the truck, and some free miles but not what I was offered on the phone. Lastly, the return system was very weird, no paperwork, no nothing, I never received notice of the receipt being complete or an emailed receipt. There was no vehicle inspection picking up or dropping off. I had no opportunity to document any existing issues or damage to the rental while picking up, nor was the return inspected prior to me leaving the location. All in all, everything did work out, but I have had many other better experiences with Uhaul. If this was my first time renting from Uhaul, I wouldn't come back.

love the online check in! Used it on the first rental and only took 2min to get the keys and go. Second truck the online system kept glitching and has to go over everything at the store and took over 30 mins. Please just make sure your online system stays up and running.

The staff was amazing and very informative! I had utilized this facility once before in Waukesha when renting a trailer to move furniture and now utilized for storage. I love the set up especially being able to drive in during possible Wisconsin elements like rain or snow or just a very hot day! Thank you, Lisa J.

Great experience for this first-time Uhaul user. We rented a 20' truck and car transport in Arizona, drove for four days to Wisconsin. Very pleased with the beautiful and modern facility, the convenient location, and the smooth transition to locate our furniture at this Uhaul Storage. Tim and his crew at Uhaul were extremely helpful in getting us settled into our storage unit. Tim talked us through all our concerns. We are confident we are being taken care of at a secure, clean, accommodating facility. We also were able to use their recommendations for movers to unload the truck, which only took an hour. The truck garages were fantastic for unloading with the outside temperature being in the teens. Also very happy about accessing our indoor heated unit at my leisure using the heated garages. All around, we are extremely pleased with our Uhaul adventure. Won't hesitate to do it again.

The manager was very friendly and very helpful I wish I would of come to u-hale sooner for a storage unit. So much more security than where I was at.

Easy to get in and out of. Only negative is that our unit is so far away from the entrance and there are multiple units with reserved tags on them, but no locks. ??
