Rosa DThe guy setting up my trailer closed my rear hatch and cut my wiring harness by getting it stuck in the latching mechanism. I got no discount or refund on my trailer rental and had to splice my harness myself before they would let me rent the trailer. Very disappointing.

Stuart ZTruck driver door doesn’t close all the way Truck shakes bad at all speeds Fuel gauge when picked up said 3/4 tank and it was well below that. Had to fill up to 3/4 when I returned to not get charged. Can’t believe I had to spend extra money on fuel for a vehicle that no one should have been driving. I get it’s a $39 rental but come on. With miles and fuel I spent over $100 to drive 25 miles in town.

Miguel RTruck was a hunk of junk. Steering terrible also door bent. Then no to check out unit and when checked in told to leave it and someone would check it in. Now have bullshit charges on my credit card for unloading. There was a couch, loveseat table and 2 cabinets moved. Nothing left behind and no mess. So can waste my time calling for that. Terrible

Always a pleasure to work with - which is much appreciated because moving is tiring and stressful! Yes, the equipment is always clean and in good working order. In fact, the 6x12 trailer we rented this time appeared to have brand new tires.

Gary EActually do your job and do it well. I made the appointment for 3pm on Thursday and the guy wasn't there to do it so I had to bring it in the next day. The guy told me it would take an hour and it took 2 hrs and 45 min. Then they pinched the wiring and set it up so it has to be shut in the trunk. I will never recommend anyone come to this location. The girls at the service desk were helpful at least.

Rae AI went through 2 tolls each way. Your staff to me to go on Ipass and pay by license plate. I started to do that but I was afraid that the next person driving the truck I was in, if they went through tolls, that I would be charged for theirs. So I called U-Haul customer service and they told me I was correct to call them, that I should just wait for the tolls to come through your company and they would match the tolls to the dates. Also, my lock wouldn't close on my truck. I told the employees. Otherwise, very nice people to deal with.

Mark KStaff needs to improve their customer service abilities. They were more concerned, who was hungry and what type of food t order or pick up, while I was standing in front of them and after providing all the required info to rent a cargo van, after dropping off the van, I was told I would receive a copy of the final invoice to confirm the mileage, I still have not received a final copy. My account was charged for the original estimate. The staff at this location needs to have some major customer service training.
ruth pThe truck had a broken passenger mirror that staff seemed unaware of. I made sure they were aware of it before I drove off. I was / am expecting an adjustment to the invoice for the low miles (less than twenty) that I put on the vehicle as desk person said would happen. I do need the final receipt for my records. Luckily the store pulled through and salvaged the situation and saved me from a huge headache. The manager Jaccob was great and the technician who did the install was awesome. Consider giving them a raise. Overall the entire staff was friendly.

Very friendly, professional, and responsive. On move in day Dylan helped us. While Dylan was nice and I understand it was only his 2nd time moving someone into storage, we were paying movers siding check in (I should have come earlier, I know) and I felt like he was a lot slower than necessary, on 2 occassions I was in the store both while there was a long line. Unprofessional chomping on gum and paying more attention to what his coworkers were talking about than the customer sitting in front of him. I’d like to make a suggestion for check out. If it’s feasible, it would be nice to have separate lines for supply checkouts, key drop offs etc vs setting up for U-Haul vehicles/storage. To have people waiting in line for 45 minutes to purchase a few packing supplies isn’t ideal.

The storage units and building was always clean and easily accessible. Their cleaning person I encountered was nice, considerate, and did a thorough job. She took pride in her work. I even got a phone call from the Uhaul team when my padlock was not on the door correctly. They were concerned my storage locker was not secure. I came back to Uhaul and they showed me how to lock my storage unit to make it more secure. All of my experiences with the Uhaul team were outstanding. The owner has a great team here. I highly recommend the Waukesha Uhaul location near Les Paul parkway & 164.

JARED T | First ImpressionsOne of the employees (name purposefully removed) was either new or didn’t care when renting the storage unit out. I requested a unit and said that i had a U-Haul truck. I knew from the website that I should get the first month free however when asked the U-Haul employee said that wasn’t true. In an effort to not argue I let it go. They proceeded with getting the unit set up, didn’t ask me to sign for the rentals agreement, if I needed a second key, what insurance to use (theirs or homeowners), and failed fully check out that unit from the system. After trying the key at the door it didn’t pop up with anything but we assumed that was normal for the location and opened the door to the unit. Instead the alarm went off both when it was opened it and closed. Nobody came to check and make sure anything was being stolen. Moral of the story is the U-Haul employee that isn’t well trained may cause you more issues than you expect. Thank goodness there was a second person on shift. They knew exactly what the other did wrong, what the storage area hours were and after an additional 30 minute wait, we able to get my unit figured out.

That unit can barely hold one room full of items. The website needs to be updated and the correct content approximations needs to be entered.
Jerome S | Online Move InMy furniture and other household belongings were at the Hwy 164 Waukesha location for 13 months. Everything was the same as it was the day it arrived there including my small freezer. I was worried because it was closed mold would develop or foul smell from moisture but neither happened. Also the furniture and other boxes were not covered in dust. This is truly a clean temperature controlled environment. The garage bays are very accessible and carts are right there. I would also like to say thank you to the kind hearted staff who was mopping and cleaning the day I struggled with my filled cart and the one elevator was busy with other movers. She directed me to the alternate elevator and helped me guide the cart on/off and then guided me back to the garage bay. She went over and above for me and I’m grateful. When I need storage in the future I will be back.

Uhaul is providing a free months rent on a storage locker to any family being displaced. We found out we will more than likely be able to get our furnishings out, and I went to Uhaul to rent a locker from the Waukesha (Hwy 164) dealer and Tina could not have been more accommodating, helpful and kind. Her help was very much appreciated. We do not know when we will be able to retrieve our furniture and things, but I will definitely be trying to rent a truck from Uhaul as well. For that happening now I couldn’t unload my truck, couldn’t pack in more loads to unload within my time period. Had to put all moves on hold and was told come back tomorrow because someone else will be available to help me because he doesn’t now how to let me in!! So now I have to pay over another $100 to rent a truck when I could have gotten this all done within my time? Absolutely NOT!! Everything would have worked out great if I was able to unload and get in!!

Nikki E | First ImpressionsThe storage facility was always over 80 degrees sometimes between 95-96 degrees even though it would only be in the 70s outside. The bathrooms were always out of paper and towels and the garbage was overflowing. When we asked about it they blamed it on not having any housekeeping staff. there is people living in their units and when you tell the staff they shrug it off. it says on the wall contact your manager if its over 80 which i notified them several times nothing being done and its 68 degrees in the office,. Im going to warn everyone what a horrible place this is, the floors are never swept, there was a sock in the hallway for 2 months its still there which proves the floors are never cleaned !!!! I rented 2 rooms acfross the street at public storage its much cleaner and a third of the cost.

Didn't realize that there wouldn't be air conditioning in a climate controlled storage facility. Jose Lopez III was not a customer oriented individual....extremely rude when renting the storage unit and when I moved out. Very abrupt, not willing to answer questions and not helpful.

They kept saying that this truck shouldn't have gone out but they are the ones that gave it to me . The storage is nice and the move went great just next time have the staff be more organized than what I experienced the first and last impression
Michael N | First ImpressionsGreat experience for this first-time Uhaul user. We rented a 20’ truck and car transport in Arizona, drove for four days to Wisconsin. Very pleased with the beautiful and modern facility, the convenient location, and the smooth transition to locate our furniture at this Uhaul Storage. Tim and his crew at Uhaul were extremely helpful in getting us settled into our storage unit. Tim talked us through all our concerns. We are confident we are being taken care of at a secure, clean, accommodating facility. We also were able to use their recommendations for movers to unload the truck, which only took an hour. The truck garages were fantastic for unloading with the outside temperature being in the teens. Also very happy about accessing our indoor heated unit at my leisure using the heated garages. All around, we are extremely pleased with our Uhaul adventure. Won’t hesitate to do it again.
