The truck worked well and was able to get my move completed. Unfortunately it was the locations service that was lacking. I rented the truck for a 5:30am pick (location isn't open at that time) and an employee told me I could get they keys out of the 24hr box through the app. When I arrived the truck was not out and there were no keys available. Due to the timing of my closing, I wasn't able to pick up the truck till 930, so having less time to pack it, I ended up not arriving to the home on time. As a result of that I paid the moving company extra hours to sit and wait for me since I had them scheduled for 1030. I was polite with the employee when explaining that the truck wasn't there at 530 and his response was that of an â€œoh wellâ€. I will refer Penske and Budget before referring that location.Tyler V.

I had a great experience using your truck for moving. My only recommendation would be to brush off the truck before pickup. It took us a bit to get it cleaned off and to even open the backend because of the frozen snow but overall, awesome experience. Employee was courteous at dropoff as well ðŸ'Marcus K.

GMC box truck is a hunk of junk... and you guys actually make your vehicles less safe by adding extra traction control and then when it snows you can get stuck so easily it's ridiculous. I wasted a bunch of money figuring out that the GMC box truck was a piece of shit and then I ran to transit only to find out the traction control actually makes it less safe and I guess that might be hard for some pencil pushers in the higher ups of you hauled your bains to the dumpster understand since they probably have never driven in the fucking snow. I guess I shouldn't be surprised big corporations trying to idiot proof everything...Jeff M.

The man who attached the trailer to the truck was in a very bad mood. It was if I interrupted his phone time- personal phone time. he seemed upset more by my not taking the extra insurance- pratically threatened me with "you will have to pay for all of it up front. we dont wait for insurance claimes to come in." He seemed very putout. Later, the next day, after loading the trailer, I had a strong suspicion that it was not attached correctly. I went to another location in Milwaukee to have it checked now that it was full. not only were the chains rusted and old, it was not hooked up correctly and the tires were over 10 psi low. The man at the Waukesha pickup location should have caught this. Very scary since I was getting ready to go across 5 states in winter towing a full trailer.Lynelle L.

The customer service agent that took care of me when I picked up the truck was kind of slow and I had to repeat a couple times my customer information which was frustrating and the truck didn't have the keys in it so I had to go back and speak to the customer service agent again to get the keysJoseph C.

Just one comment -- the cargo door of the truck was locked with a combination lock when we picked it up -- which we did not notice before leaving the location as there was no walkthrough with an employee. Unfortunately, I had to wait on hold about 20 minutes (with the call center) before I could get the combination. Perhaps you could improve the method for reaching the individual locations.Matthew Z.

I was given a MUDDY truck. Incorrect amount of FUEL. NO HITCH on the truck. And the truck was NOT PULLEDF UP was parked out by the road. This was the poorest level of service for what you advertise. Mirrors on the truck were im-movaeable - I didn't notice until I was already rolling but they were not in a good spot - They had been tightened so much I could not adjust them - Part of the check out process should be to help adjust the mirrors- Check IN was a problem - No time to get me a printed receipt while I waited ; then it was emailed to me and it was WRONG - I had to call to get a credit for the fuel I had already put in the truck which they then also charged me for. That makes one untrusting. And getting an email receipt that is a .jpg ..? Really ? How about a .pdf instead so one can print it out ?Carl M.

Power was out, there was no way for the clerk to process my order. There was no way to process it offline. The clerk literally did nothing to help me. I had to sit there and figure out how to do the 24/7 rental on my phone even though I had already paid for my truck. This was possibly the worst customer service experience I have ever had.Edward K.
Horrible communication and customer service. Was not updated when my Uboxes arrived and they gave the wrong boxes to my movers. When the customer has to call to â€œcheck up on thingsâ€ continually and solve the issues themselves, if you ask me, that is system failure. My car was damaged while in your parking lot! It looks like a truck backed into even though it was clearly in customer parking. Then the truck I rented was in the middle of the line and all the trucks needed to be moved for me to get out. The staff was awesome helping me out but made the experience frustrating and an hour longer than necessary.Kalin R.

Can't do much if the person working doesn't know how to get you into the building under your 24hr access card. For that happening now I couldn't unload my truck, couldn't pack in more loads to unload within my time period. Had to put all moves on hold and was told come back tomorrow because someone else will be available to help me because he doesn't now how to let me in!! So now I have to pay over another $100 to rent a truck when I could have gotten this all done within my time? Absolutely NOT!! I ordered furniture pads, the truck came with no pads. I was refunded the cost by the location. However, I had to spend $65 out of pocket at Menards last minute to buy pads. The truck's check engine light came on, the truck stalled and chugged at low speeds the entire time to my destination. I will never use UHAUL again. Awful experience.Brad B.
Nancy was very helpful and accommodating in finding me the right storage units. We had a lot to unload and we needed units close to the door. After having units towards the back, we were able to discuss that having units side by side wasn't necessary and we could get new locations closer to the entrance. The storage facility was always over 80 degrees sometimes between 95-96 degrees even though it would only be in the 70s outside. The bathrooms were always out of paper and towels and the garbage was overflowing. When we asked about it they blamed it on not having any housekeeping staff. there is people living in their units and when you tell the staff they shrug it off. it says on the wall contact your manager if its over 80 which i notified them several times nothing being done and its 68 degrees in the office,. Im going to warn everyone what a horrible place this is, the floors are never swept, there was a sock in the hallway for 2 months its still there which proves the floors are never cleaned !!!! The truck we received wasnt cleaned when we got it also they charged us 46 miles were they didnt read the mileage before and I only went 5 miles . They kept saying that this truck shouldn't have gone out but they are the ones that gave it to me . Great experience for this first-time Uhaul user. We rented a 20' truck and car transport in Arizona, drove for four days to Wisconsin. Very pleased with the beautiful and modern facility, the convenient location, and the smooth transition to locate our furniture at this Uhaul Storage. Tim and his crew at Uhaul were extremely helpful in getting us settled into our storage unit. Tim talked us through all our concerns. We are confident we are being taken care of at a secure, clean, accommodating facility. We also were able to use their recommendations for movers to unload the truck, which only took an hour. The truck garages were fantastic for unloading with the outside temperature being in the teens. Also very happy about accessing our indoor heated unit at my leisure using the heated garages.
