She was extremely helpful in making sure I got everything sorted that I needed and had any questions answered, including questions about storage when I was there just for a truck rental! She made the process super easy and seamless and even offered for me to call her if any questions came up, in general. I am very happy with the equipment but the salesman who helped me was very unprofessional and unsanitary. I believe his name is David Charon, he had a large unkept beard. The gentlemen leaned to lift his leg and farted in front of a line of people. He was also repeatedly coughing all over the paper work and office without any attempt to cover his mouth. Then as we headed outside he lights ups cigarette. Just lacked any self awareness and customer service. Very disgusting.Steven M.

Natalie did not accurately nor fully explain the contract. When returning the truck I had questions regarding the bill. Her response was, â€œ I forgot to tell you that, you signed the contract, there is nothing I can do about it now.â€ Not to mention the man that was in line, overhearing the conversation, proceeding to ask questions regarding my contract, when he saw the look on my face for his interference, he explained that he also worked there. He was not working that day. Inappropriate behavior as the person I was working with Natalie who was in uniform and working that day. His interference was as I said, inappropriate. He then proceeded to ask about the job application that was sent in by his girlfriend.Therese R.

I got a trainee, I understand that people are new and don't know everything about the job yet, what I don't understand is why his co workers really weren't helping him out barley while I waited, I also wasn't really helped when I drove my car up and hooked up all the safety harnesses,but I figured it out then when I drove 2 hours in the rain there was a leak in the cabin that dripped rather heavy down the back of my neck, I had a hard time finding drop off spot for car carrier and also couldn't understand why I needed to drop off truck in a different location, so next day I tried to contact Uhaul to change drop off for truck to same location as trailer, took 1 1/2 hours , ridiculousmark C.

Been going to this Uhaul for years & I love it! Customer service always been great for I and speedy checkout! James Renauld, did a phenomenal job in assisting today. Very knowledgeable, professional and great sense of humor! Need more of that in today's world. There was another young lady working there with him today and she was wonderful as well! If I could give you guys zero stars I would. Not only were we sent to four different locations before being given the truck we reserved several days in advance, upon finally reaching the Central St, Leominster, MA location one of your employees physically threatened violence on my stepdad when he was justifiably upset by your service. We were told the initial truck would be at the Gardner location, then received an email of the change of location to Fitchburg. Fine. We spent an hour in Fitchburg trying to figure out the online system that wasn't working, and when we finally managed to get a hold of a customer service rep we were informed that nobody was coming to unlock the box with the key to the truck and redirected us to the Harvard St, Leominster location. The rep on the line PROMISED us that at that location was our reservation. We go to that location and were told the rep was incorrect and that it was located at the other location in Leominster. At this point we have now wasted TWO hours bouncing from location to location to location with NO more emails and communication from anyone in your company at any given point in time, other than the one Fitchburg email in the beginning that was clearly very outdated, and the one AFTER we called them and were there for an hour already. When we arrive at the Central St, Leominster location, the first gentleman that "helped" us, a bald tall male approached with an attitude ready to fight my step dad. Literally. My stepdad began by giving him the reservation information, the man stated he couldn't find him in the system. My stepdad told the man "At this point you guys better have the truck, we've been to multiple locations and we're just done. This better end well." The gentleman then responded, "Oh it isn't gonna end well? What do you wanna fight me? Let's take it out back, I'll kick your a** bro, let's go." To which my stepfather replied, "What? No. I don't want to fight you dude, I'm just tired. We've been everywhere and nobody's helping us." The guy then responds, "Well then don't threaten me then. I'll f***ing fight you." At that moment another worker walked in and asked what was going on. He was the ONLY worker that actually did his job, de-escelated the situation, and helped us out. He also found us in the system pretty quickly so I don't understand why the bald man couldn't. Upon getting the truck, we realize it doesn't have a dolly. At this point we are tired, upset, and very much done with this situation. No one communicated the changes with us, no one sincerely apologized to us, and one of your workers physically threatened my stepdad to the point where I now have the direct line to your Legal Team saved on my phone. We have used UHAUL on several occassions over the course of the last 30 years and have NEVER been met with such animosity, incompetence, and disrespect. My next question to you, is how are you going to make it right? What happened was simply inexcusable and unacceptable. Period.Matthew U.

i rented a car hauler and went to put the small truck on the trailer and it unhook from the my truck. he didnt hook the trailer right. i was on the side of the road for 2half hours.before roadside people should up. he said they hooked it up wrong he was nice and he help me put the truck on plus the lady from road side was helpful and nice. when i came back with the trailer he didnt belive it could unhook.i had pictures and showed him he said sorry this place didnt have enough worker there for all the people that was there that was the problem there what happen to me shouldnt had happen at all lucky for them nothing happen to me or my truck when the trailer unhook for this i should of got discount or refund on my rentalSteven C.

I had initially made the reservation in Phillipston as it was closer to where I was using it, the reservation was made one week prior my need. I was called and told I would need to go to the leominster location instead a couple days prior to Friday, when I enquired if I could get 23 miles off, as this was very inconvenient for me, I was told a flat no. I had to do the move either way so accepted it at the time as there were zero other options but this cost me an additional ~25$. This ontop of other costs while moving into a new apartment, rent, first/last etc is going to make it soni won't wat for 2 days... like I said, it sucks but I needed the rental either way. Had my car crashed at the UHall Leominster, 388 Central St. and manager keeps brushing me away stating he needs to watch the camera that covers the parking lot.Andrea H.
Reserved truck online and received confirmation for pickup, went to location of pickup and it took 1 hour! before I was able to drive off. The truck that was supposedly available was never â€œchecked inâ€ into the system and was the reason for the delay. After an hour, an employee realized the truck was in the lot but never checked in so they had to foster check in the truck then go back and redo my reservation. All this could have been avoided if the truck in the lot was properly checked in by Uhaul employees and/or improve the software to alert employees when the truck is not checked in before it's offered to customers.Luis M.

Only issue was that I wanted to rent from a location in Gardner Ma. Everything led me to believe I would pickup my trailer in Gardner. After payment was made it indicated there was an error in my reservation. I had to drive to Leominster Ma to get the trailer. It involved me driving an additional 80 miles between pickup and dropping off the trailer. Gas at approximately 4.50 a gallon it cost me approximately $30-40 dollars in fuel. Otherwise everything was great.Robert S.

Seriously dangerous equipment. That truck had horrible ball joints to say the least. Every bump I wondered if it was going to loose the front end. The steering was all over the place. Horrible. Coming from someone who drives his bosses 94 Grumman tool truck that's really rough, I cannot believe UHaul would rent such garbage. After I had hitch installed on my Subaru Crosstrek my exhaust was leaking! The car only has 6000 miles on it, it most certainly did NOT have a leak in the exhaust when I drove there. Turns out there was a gasket missing. I had an appointment for a car inspection where they fixed the problem in order to have my car pass inspection Your Leominster location, which is over an hour away from me, refused to take responsibility for this. They tell me the mechanic, David Charon, never took the exhaust down to install the hitch therefor he did not 'lose' the gasket. This was disputed by my Subaru Service department who tells me the exhaust has to be dropped in order to install a hitch. To have them tell me that they didn't have anything to do with this is just ludicrous. My car DID NOT have a leaking exhaust prior to the hitch install. I expect to get reimbursed for the extra cost incurred during my car inspection, $110. I have called the Leominster location, emailed Uhaul and attempted to speak with your customer service department to no avail.elisabeth D.

No assistance provided by leominster or Gardner offices. Truck found available in SPENCER - cancelled and rented from Home Depot. I had no problem with the storage unit. I had every problem with the place I dropped my U-Haul at and with being charged late fees that was fraudulent. if I hadn't taken photos of my car dropping off the U-Haul the person in charge of submitting this information would have gotten away with this. I dropped my U-Haul at a different location from my storage unit. he claimed I turned in the U-Haul a day late when in fact it was a day early. thanks to my photos and the people at the storage unit I have a claim and reciept that says I will Eventually recieve my refund. I have spent hours waiting to speak to someone only for the phone to hang up on me. and then to receive no help from anyone online. the only person to help me were the people at the storage unit. i had to file a claim through them and reopen it several times bc I still haven't received my refund for the fees. I had to call the storage manager again bc he's the only one who has helped me bc to this day I still haven't received my refund. I wouldn't recommend renting from U-Haul to anyone bc of how much time it takes to speak to anyone and how little they care. by the way it's been over a month and I still haven't received my refund. this was terrible and I deserve a bigger refund for how much time I have spent on this. this service besides you having one kind and caring employee has been terrible. reference number 3721448bianca s. | Overall Experience

The reason I'm giving average rating is because when arriving to the storage unit we were told that the lock hinges would be adjusted because they were loose & didn't align, which made it hard to close the lock. The guy that supposedly "fixed" it only had to put a bigger washer in the back of the door because the door is worn out were the screw is. But no.... he decided to force the screw tight. Only to realize it wasn't aligned & then grabbed a drill and just made the lock hole bigger, instead of doing the job properly. You tell me that isn't some ghetto carpentry 臘♀️. I know for a fact that it's going to get loose again. If he would've fixed it properly he wouldn't have to come back again when it loosens up again. The lazy work harder & double. I sure hope they don't try to charge me for something that was already messed up.. mind you that I said yes to the unit ONLY because he said it was going to get fixed for proper use. I'm not the happiest camper but I'm happy with the storage space & the facility is very clean. Just that 1 little detail would've given U-haul a 5 star rating but I have to be realistic, so there you have it.Beverly V. | First Impressions
