Same BS on returning the vehicle, they have a location 1 block from my residence, but NO, you have to drive their and your own recovery vehicle an extra 11.5 miles to return the rental in an out of the way location, another nice move, NOT !!!!but for them OH YEAAA $$$$$$JEAN CLAUDE C.

Return customers shouldn't have to go thru the calling a second phone number. Your making grown adults feel like children. If you have had problems with a customer than yes but adult customers with a history of renting from you and the last people you should offend with such practices.CHRISTOPHER C.

Move in was very complicated. Didn’t know where to check in…! Went to get help from the customer service. They were friendly, but not very helpful. First time I went to customer service they helped me check in, and showed me on a map where my unit was. Walked around the whole placed still confused about where my unit was, and when I found it, it was locked! I went back and water in line again in customer service explaining I couldn’t get into it. They sent the trainee to unlock my locker, and there was not a lock ready for me to apply. After going back to customer service a 3rd time explaining I rented online they gave me a lock, and sent me on my way.Cory B. | Online Move In

You can improve the mobile check in. I Had to go inside to check out the truck cause someone had taken it. I was told the site manager did. It took longer than expected so that was a disappointment. But other than that it was ok.SALVADOR F.

I rented the 10 ft moving van this time. Very happy with the quality, speed and process. My previous rental a few months ago was not so good. Glad this time they really improved and did a wonderful job!Christopher H.

Worker got mad at us for dropping off there. Said we needed to take it elsewhere although this was the location given by uhaul. The further drive created an extra fee for miles traveled. So we had to take it elsewhere and we were charged because we took it elsewhereFaruk N.

When I made the reservation, I made it to drop off in lemon grove. As soon as I left the pick up location in Menifee I got a text message saying to drop off at different location. I called the lemon grove location and talked to a uhaul operator who said it was okay to drop off my truck at any uhaul spot So went to my original drop off location and they said they had no idea I was coming and that I might have to pay a fee for bringing it to a different drop off that was given to me after I picked up my truck. Even though they were the location to drop off on my original reservation. Anyways it all worked outBrandon C.

Second time I have rented from this location. First time no issues. This time they needed a second phone number. I provided the number of my wife and when they could not reach her (case manager in a hospital/not able to accept calls at the time) they wanted my passport, work phone number or multiple other contacts. When I questioned the validity of their requests the GM took a rather harsh tone with me. I explained the customer he was helping provided a phone number and when they called the number and the person did that answer the request was satisfied. For some reason getting my wife's voicemail was not satisfactory. Training is required by the staff at this location. I offered to allow these clowns to use my credit cart to place a hold on for the value of the trailer but that was not satisfactory. These characters need to stop reseating everybody like they are trying to steal from uhaul.CHRISTOPHER C.

I had to wait the computer was down for over and hour. Manager on Duty was not help in assisting with a long line of customers.Then the truck was weeping and wobbling off balance driving it the side mirrors count falling down poor quality of maintenance on the vehiclesistonya M.

Easy to pick up and drop off. The staff was friendly and efficient when we picked up. When we dropped off there was a few trucks ahead of us that had been dropped and people were waiting to get that truck. We watched Alicia hustling to get things turned around as quick as possible. I had reserved at 15' truck to move all of my things for that day, but when I get there and try to check in the employee next to the one helping me said he just gave my truck to the customer he was helping even though i had it reserved. Then they said that was the last one available and I was forced to rent a 26' truck instead, which was ridiculously too big, which ended up costing ,me way more money than I was initially quoted and had budgeted for. The truck in question had something wrong with it as well as it was lurching back and forth the entire way to and back which was extremely uncomfortable. Overall I will never go back to this location and have already told people of the unprofessional handling of everything. I was also told I would only be getting charged a lesser amount since I went under the estimated mileage but I still had additional fees added onto my bank statement, horrible experience and service. 0/5 stars.STEPHEN T.

The inside of my unit was unfinished concrete, with dust and crumbled concrete all around. There was no lighting inside the inside the unit, and next door, labelled mechanical room was racks of servers, and a multitude of monitors. This dealership, just to make clear, had become a target of frequent smash and grab runs, some involving equipment. One day, there were three intelligence analysts in the mechanical room studying their footage of the theft of a truck off the lot. Literally, a veritable hub of Intel for the border just south via the rail line. 10/10 I would trust my stuff to them yet again. Bang on staff, management that will surprise you with the best deal even you least expect it, and really understanding.. Do not go to the National City location. We had an unfortunate reservation mix up that cost us to lose much needed time & money. I had made the reservation online for a 4x7x8 size unit weeks prior. Our son wanted to move some items in prior to our arrival/original move in date of May 22. I was able to change it to May 20 but unfortunately our son ended up not being able to borrow a truck so he did not go, which ended up being a “no show” resulting in canceling the entire reservation. I was not made aware of this cancellation policy so was very surprised to show up on the 22nd, no reservation to be found & discovering that this particular size was no longer available—only a larger, more expensive 8x10 was. We were in a ‘must have’ situation since we were only there to help our son for the day & the Uhaul truck we had rented at this same location was waiting. I feel a simple phone call or email to notify me of this change/no-show/cancel policy would have alleviated a lot of stress.Melissa A. | First Impressions

Gina, the marketing manager, and Daniel Rios, the general manager, we both service-oriented and compassionate. Kelli, the assistant manager, however, was not. She did not look for solutions and has rigid and uncompromising decision making tendencies, which is not helpful to customers, especially during an unprecedented pandemic. Gina was amazing through. She acknowledged my concerns and apologized, which is everything to a customer, and she followed up to ensure resolution was reached.
