On my way to the drop off site on the 21st I got a call from Erie, PA asking if I was dropping my vehicle off with them. I said no, I was dropping it off in Lexington, KY. The office there stated they had ANOTHER vehicle which had been dropped off with my name and wanted to know how it had gotten to Erie, PA. I wanted to know this as well. I believe your company needs to better in not only your record keeping but your customer service. Since the Garland Station is the one that messed things up. And they knew they were working with a veteran! They knew it was a one-way trip and I was willing to take back a trailer by the way only I couldn't pick it up since I work at the VA Hospital and couldn't drive to Longmont but was willing to drive for you to assist since you were helping me. Only for all of this to happen to me. I was told based on the status of the vehicle it really was a blessing I was lucky I made it to Lexington!

I’m so glad to participate in your survey, because everyone needs U-Haul to fulfill their needs by using such types of vehicles. If we use such vehicles, definitely it should be in good condition. That’s why the condition of the vehicle is an important part to the U-haul users. So I would like to keep in good condition of the service vehicle each and every moment. I have not faced any problems during my service period and like to recommend to use this services if someone needs it. But also if someone no own driver to drive the U-hail, at that time, it’s difficult, if possible, I would like to provide this service with driver, that will maybe appreciable.

Justin in Lexington Kentuckian was excellent to work with. Your service could be improved by emailing the confirmation for pickup and changing you text message to state that the pick up location was not the preferred location I had chosen. While the text message had the address which was different I did not notice and went to the wrong (preferred location) first.

Not a comment to improve, just a shout out to Justin. He was sooooo awesome!! When he walked out to my truck to hook up the trailer, he encouraged me to go get some air in my back tires. He said he would wait to hook up the trailer until I got back. He is a great!!! You are blessed and lucky to have him as an employee and I was blessed and lucky that he was the guy there on Tuesday :) He was professional, helpful, and KIND!! Thanks Justin!

Justin is super nice and very helpful. U-haul computers seen to be very problematic and take forever for processing even simple transactions. Twice I’ve had to return items and the computers were down altogether or frozen. Every visit the computer moves at a snail’s pace causing long wait time especially if there is a customer or two ahead of you. This is not an efficient way to run a business. The problem with the computers is in no way a reflection on the employees working there. They were always super helpful, courteous, and apologetic regarding the sub par network used by u-haul. They should be commended for their professionalism.

Equipment - 6x12 trailer - eliminate units with roll-up door design, replacing with swinging door design. The trailer I rented also hadn't been swept but really not too bad, also a piece of material appears to be loose underneath, having emerged during the 600 miles I towed the unit. Overall a good experience. Great people, great service.

The gentleman that checked us out was very friendly, and nice, two qualities that I greatly appreciate when dealing with things of this nature. It made what was a stressful situation less stressful. I would definitely consider coming back for another rental.

When I made my reservation I was asked if I would need a dolly. I told them to go ahead and put the appliance dolly and utility dolly on my reservation so that I could choose which one I needed when I picked it up. I was told they would be available since I reserved them. When I went to pick up the trailer and dolly, there wasn't a single dolly at that location. The girl hooked up my trailer and told me I have to go to a different location. I called the New Circle Road location and was told they had the 2 dollies (both the utility and appliance dollies), but when I arrived there 10 minutes later, they only had 2 utility dollies left and no appliance dollies. When I paid for it the guy asked me for my ID and had me sign something. That's when I realized and told him that the girl at the other location didn't ask for my ID and she never had me sign anything. All she did was take my payment and hook up the trailer. The guy then asked me if I received the pamphlet, which I had not, and I told him she also never went over the trailer with me to place stickers on previously damaged areas. When he came out to the trailer with me he just told me to take pictures of whatever was damaged. He opened the trailer to put the dolly in there and found that it hadn't even been cleaned! It was disgusting! He swept it out for me and I left. He never told me that I had to return the dolly to that location so I assumed I could just return it with the trailer at the other location. My boyfriend returned both the trailer and dolly to the Leestown location before my scheduled return time/date. He was told he could not have a return receipt for the dolly because he didn't pick it up there. Its the same system! The employee told my boyfriend that it was perfectly fine that he returned it there and that he would call the other location and let them know that we returned it. I called the other location shortly after. The employee did not call them and I was told I would be charged a fee for returning it to the wrong location even though the employee said it was perfectly fine that we returned it there! I was never told I had to return it to a specific location and now Im being charged a fee?! I called customer service and the 1st location hadn't closed out my rental yet so she couldn't see if I was being charged a fee. It didn't even show that we returned the dolly. I got a messaged this morning saying I need to return the dolly, but I already returned it! I have never had such issues with Uhaul than at these 2 locations. This has been a nightmare and I will not return. I need something showing that I did in fact return the dolly yesterday and that I will not be charged for it anymore nor will I be charged a wrong location fee. Moving is stressful enough as it is and Uhaul has made this experience just awful.

The trailer shook all the way to Florida. When I turned it in 15 miles from where I was told to go the man said I had bad tires causing it.

Nothing. Justin was fantastic with helping me and getting everything setup, adjusting the positioning of the truck's mirrors, and setting up the trailer and loading my car. Great interpersonal skills as well.

The employee was great. Felt sorry for him. He was the only one working, so he had to go get trucks and wait on customers. The employee that helped me on the 800 number not so much. She got the location wrong as to where to book the truck.

I was charged an extra day for the truck for no reason storage closed at 5 was told we would have a bag to unload another family has it blocked had to pack everything around them was given the wrong unit asked to have manager call me never heard from him\her. Was a terrible experience and I am going to dispute the extra day truck rental because it was turned in same day an hour later I called the number on the contract and she said I wouldn't be charged since it was the storage facility fault we aren't able to unload in a timely manner. The girl working seemed clueless and was not helpful or accommodating at all

My U-Haul container arrived and was packed on time. It was then taken to a location where there was a roof caved in my box was moved I was not notified. The day before my box was to arrive the movers in Orlando not U-Haul contacted me that my box was not in Florida. I’ve been spent several hours tracking down my U-Haul box . Once I finally found my U-Haul box it took me another week to have the box delivered to Florida. Up until the day before the arrival the box still wasn’t guaranteed and there were issues with getting the driver to pick the box up on time and deliver it. I find this level of service completely unacceptable. Every agent I spoke to you at the call center was extremely friendly but still had trouble tracking down my box And letting me know where it was and when it would arrive. I will be calling you Hole to discuss the situation and the price I paid for a service I didn’t receive as promised.

The location was on the complete opposite side of town from where we were located and the original location I selected. I picked a location that was central to the two locations we were traveling to and from far in advance to our rental date, and when that location apparently did not have the truck rental we required, we were assigned a truck at this location instead - nowhere near where we needed to be. When I called to see if we could find a closer location that had anything available, I was transferred and put on hold multiple times, with no one I spoke to even willing to TRY to find a location closer. I was not impressed with their customer service, especially given how much more we had to pay in mileage and gas because of how far away the location they switched us to was.
