Vehicle access is rather tight, and this is a busy location on a busy street; you may not be able to pull in to the facility when returning a truck with a trailer. That said, the staff has been very friendly and helpful on both occasions that we used this location, and we would use them in the future if we need to rent a truck, trailer, or Ubox.

The truck itself was fine and helped us with moving. But the staff overall at this location was not great. It took a long time for someone to greet me and help me. The lady that finally helped me kept insisting they didn't have 17' trucks even though I had the reservation email to prove it. The whole process took about 45 mins by the time I was driving away and they told me that I still had to have the truck in 6 hours, even though 45 minutes of it was taken by the staff. The one good staff mention though is the guy that got me the truck and helped me inspect it was very friendly and awesome! Just not the best experience for what we paid.

I probably wouldn't recommend U-haul to anyone. The app/online experience was terrible. I was sent to 2 different locations then it changed back to the 1st location causing me to waste time and gas going back and forth. The actual location was understaffed for the morning rush and there was no parking available for my vehicle. It was difficult to find the truck as it was parked behind the buildings and way down a ways. The online rep did not explain the process properly and made me submit 2 peoples phone numbers without telling me they had to pick up before we could move any further in the process. My friend said that the persons tone was rude and there was no explanation for their call or introduction. If i had not told these people first that U-haul would be calling they wouldn't have been able to answer the person properly due to the persons attitude. The only positive was the return process was simple and we had no issues with on-site personnel.

Parking lot is tight, but the staff’s efficiency and pleasantness made up for any logistical issues. I would have preferred that the truck gas tank be filled, rather than only 1/4. It required an unnecessary stop and was too difficult to judge how to appropriately return at the same volume. This seems like a method to cheat the customer.

It’s not you’re local stores that are the issue, it’s your reservation system! I reserved this online back if February because you’re site says it will save time WRONG! Not only did it waste my time but the clerk in Lakeland had to redo the reservation three times due to your system canceled it while I was out getting it loaded on my truck. Then it tried to double the pricing I was originally quoted. On the return today in BRENTWOOD it said it wasn’t where I was to return it and wanted to charge me a drop off fee until I showed the clerk on my paperwork that this is where I asked to return it. Wasted several hours of my time because you’re system has major faults. I would suggest someone in upper management try to use your online reservation then try to pick it up in what you say saves the customer time.

Make sure you have the equipment you say you have before you rent it out to someone. Made a reservation for a 6'x12' trailer then the day I was supposed to pick it up I get a call saying it isnt available. I ended up having to rent a box truck which in total including the fuel ended up being $99 versus the $40 it should have cost me for the trailer.

Get your pricing correct! Talked to three associates and received three different prices. Upon vehicle return there was a fourth price that I agreed to . When the final invoice was emailed to me it had a completely different total that all the other quoted prices and different than the final check in price. Thank goodness the computer figures all the final billing because none of your people know how to give a price quote. In addition, when I attempted to do express check in the price was different so I called your office and the person said they could not access the same screen I was looking at. She wanted me to agree and pay something that was incorrect, yet she knew nothing about how to change it or even view the email I received from Uhaul. Upon returning the vehicle at check in the gentleman said I had kept the van a little over the estimated time and Uhaul was charging me for an additional day. I refused to pay the additional day because I did not keep the van even one entire day. Uhaul reps do not volunteer this fact that if you go over your estimated time of usage then you will be charged for another entire day (this is unethical and dishonest). The whole Uhaul rental experience was very painful and I will not rent from Uhaul again.

I rented the van for one day moving, didn't use it. returned it within 24 hours. Miss read tiny fuel gauge, van was supposed to have about 3/4 tank, had 1/4 tank. Drove less than 10 miles and put in 13 gallons!!! When I told the clerk of this she just shrugged it off. The printout at the gas station gave me the wrong recite so I can't prove it. I'm tired of U-Haul's poor equipment and maintenance... It'll be a very cold day in hell before I rent one again.

There seemed to be only one person working at this large location when I arrived to pick up my trailer. Consequently, I feel it took longer than it should to complete my transaction and hook-up so I could be on my way. The same person had to complete my transaction inside AND hook up my trailer outside. Between these activities he also assisted another customer with loading boxes into her vehicle.

The original pickup location was closed. To improve for the next customer, don't schedule a pickup at a closed location. This is the second time Uhaul has sent me to a closed location. These comments are not related to the location where I actually picked up the trailer, but are directed at the customer service representative who scheduled a pickup at a closed location.

The day i moved my daughter's things into the storage. There was a gentleman that seemed to be handling things on his own in the front. He however was very nice and helpful.

reservation desk did a poor job in booking the spot. I asked for ground floor, and could use $25 coupon from U Haul. When at Lakeland I had upper unit, could not use coupon. Staff was great though

Despite having a confirmed reservation for 9:15 AM, upon arrival, my U-Box was not on a trailer and staff had trouble locating it. It took over an hour before I was able to get on the road.
