Nina AA clean truck that doesn't smell like B.O., is cleaned out (garbage between seats) and accurate billing. Reserved a regular dolly which wasn't available and was given an appliance dolly and told it would be for the same price - then I was charged full price. Assistance loading the truck would've been helpful. (Bought boxes, appliance dolly).

APURVA PCleanliness requires for equipment as well as availability of it. Make sure your truck is clean and drives smoothly in terms of acceleration before giving it to customer.

Steve CThere was a scratch on the vehicle that I didn’t notice and was not having the “x sticker”. When I got back, the employee started blaming me for the scratch and was about report that on my booking, which eventually would have been caused me extra money. I didn’t accept that since there was nothing happened from my side to cause that scratch. Later on the employee called someone and confirmed that the scratch was on the vehicle before. I’m glad that I didn’t have to pay for it. But the struggle that I faced during the post inspection was not acceptable.

Karin SProcess for vehicles taking is too long They took aprox 45 mnt and than also they cant do contract online. They did process manually I feel little unsecured for payment because they took my credit card for manual process. Vehicle cabin foot floor is too slippery because of the polished the floor which is unnecessary.

Astrid MThe amount I was invoiced was almost double what it should have been. After a couple of phone calls to try and straighten this out which included sending photos of before and after odometer I still had to go to the store to finally straighten it out. Even then it took another day to credit the original invoice on my credit card statement. Very disappointed with the amount of time I had to spend to straighten this out. Best regards Mike Bliss

Emad AEfficient rental process. Lots of vehicles. Busy location. I was disappointed that per km price had jumped to $1.09, especially after renting 2 days later from Brantford uhaul and finding that they were still charging 89 cents per km.
Timothy BI'm very upset with the service as a whole. Firstly, the service at the counter was not good. Second, I asked about Dolly and the attendant told me it would be inside the truck. When I went to pick up the truck, there was no dolly inside. I quickly returned to the store and the attendant had already closed the store and left. And lastly and most regrettably, when I went to do droppof the app did not complete the process when entering the credit card. It always gave the information denied. I tried with two different credit cards. So, I took photos of the odometer to protect myself and placed the key in the location indicated on the dropoff. To my surprise I saw today that I was charged 5 (FIVE) times on my credit card!!!! There were four charges on the RBC card and one on the National Bank card. Now I will have to go back to the store to ask for a refund on these charges. In short, the experience was terrible from start to finish!!!

paras cSame experience as always. App tells us to pick dropoff location, won’t let us. Supposed to get a call Friday to confirm our booking, no call. Reserved a truck and a dolly, no dolly, AFTER moving our pickup location to a different CITY to have a dolly. Told they are 1st come 1st serve but wouldn’t let us have the 1 they had there because somebody else called about it. Moved our drop off town from anywhere near us to much farther away. Kept saying they were adding extra km’s to accommodate but we got charged extra km’s. Received 3 different totals for how much the extra charges were, 2 totals shown on app & 1 in an email. Drop-off location didn’t know we were coming, and the one we wanted but weren’t allowed to have for some reason then calls us looking for truck. It’s not this location that sucks, it’s U-HAUL. In past experiences they have: given us a much smaller truck than reserved/needed; moved our pickup location to a different city without telling us until we got there; and given us a truck with a punched-out ignition, completely inoperable, and blamed it on us when we’d just walked out, seen it, and walked right back in, then argued with us FOR SEVERAL HOURS before deciding to find us another truck. Always a horrible experience with U-Haul.

Paullen BWhen I returned the truck and explained the challenges, I would have appreciated a thank you for your information we will take that into account and see how we can better coordinate our reservations and pick ups rather than the there is nothing we can do. I did let him know that he could look at the latch lock that had seized because it could prevent an injury for a future customer as I bruised my knuckle opening it and the gentleman at the Halford pick up also commented on it but didn't know if wd40 would help or create more problems given the temperature. The reserving and drop off were easy. My daughter is also using this location at then end of the month for her move.
Lei ADrop off sign said to stay with equipment but no one came. Suggest you change the signage.

Ciro GI will never rent a uhaul again. The advertised prices of 19.99 and 29.99 are absolutely misleading and bullshit. I was expecting to pay about $100. $200 for a truck that was advertised as $29.99 is insane. Yes, I understand mileage charges etc, but be REAL in your ads. False advertising at its best.

Jennifer E | Overall ExperienceMy husband and I stored our stuff at this unit since we were showing our house. We paid $240 a month which is substantial. We were advised once we signed up and gave my credit card info that their hours online did not reflect recent changes and that access to the unit was only permitted until 7 pm because of theft issues. This did not sit easy with us and was inconvenient since we work until 5:30 every day. They were also not friendly at all when we were signing up and it was kind of shocking. In the 2 months we had it, we got 2 calls about issues. One was a leak which they said was coming from our unit. I drove there on my lunch break, checked it, and there was nothing coming from our unit. The second call we got was that they said ants were coming from our unit and advised us that we were not allowed to store food or drinks. We never would put something like that in our unit. So I drove back after work one day and sure enough, no ants from our unit. I felt very uneasy again that our stuff was not going to be safe and that one of the other units would cause damage. So my husband and I thought about moving to another storage facility. The final straw was getting a notice of late payment and being charged a $15 penalty. I was confused because our payment came off directly from my credit card and I had set it up on auto pay. I went in to talk to them and sure enough they didn’t charge me properly. They refunded me but by this point I was done. My husband and I moved our stuff to another Uhaul and had to make 2 trips. We tried to start as early as possible and the only day we could do it was the day before the next payment came out. So we were rushing and working really hard. I came back to this Uhaul and informed the gentlemen working that we were closing out our account and his response was “well we close in 10 mins” I told him I was aware and was going as fast as we could. Then he made note on the account and then the gentlemen said “ well I hope you’re done soon because I want to go Home” Needless to say, experience overall was not good.

When they did a search for my account they could not find it on your software/database. They finally located my account but were unable to print out a receipt to verify that my account had been closed. After calling the manager at home they were able to print out a receipt verifying the account has been closed and provide me with a receipt. When they tried to print out a receipt the software would kick them out of the system. It took four or five attempts to finally get a legitimate receipt printed from your software. Other than that the service was great.

Narrow hallways can be a challenge to navigate with larger items. I'd probably look for a different place next time. I found the staff super friendly and helpful.

There’s supposed to be a drive-in bay for loading and unloading but the entrance is off a busy street with no parking and the driveway is so tiny the car doesn’t fit. There’s no keypad to open it. The keypad only opens the walk-in door nearby. I got inside and found my unit and lock no problem, but how can they not have a way to drive in after office hours? We have heavy things and they have no parking for cars. And there’s no phone number to reach the office and ask them. You get the general customer service office. Customer Service said they would leave them a message to call me back to let me know, but no one has after two days.
