Internet down when I got there to rent the truck via "Pickup My Truck" on the website. Called the phone number of Uhaul I was sitting outside of. No answer there and was automatically forwarded to call centre. Once connected and said I was sitting outside of Uhaul and Internet wouldn't work, was transferred to another number where I was put on hold and nobody picked up after 10 minutes on hold. Husband finally went into store and checked in there. Appliance cart that I paid for was missing from the truck. Employee had to go get one for us. All-in-all, the pickup process took us 25 minutes! VERY frustrating!!

Have you staff pay more attention to what they're doing. I booked a "cube" van but on pick up was offered a small van (I was moving). On pick up also, my son gave his credit card number and was told I could pay with MY credit card when finished. When moving finished, I gave your staff MY credit card but they charged my SON"s credit card instead. Both of these errors tell me that they either aren't truly interested in doing a good job - the girl I booked with Should know the difference between a Cube Van and just a van! The desk person took my card number so how then did the charges end up on my son's card instead of mine? June Rose

The service was terrible. I was not given my $50 even though the reserved truck was unavailable. I was only given $10 off a different truck. Further the truck I was given was dirty, and had no fuel. The contract marked it as half a tank. I filled to a quarter (as was requested), and was then charged for not filling 'back to half'. I showed up to drop off the truck at 5, and as they were closing, was told to drop the key rather than checking in. I was then charged a 'convenience fee'. Unacceptable service. Will not be returning.

The truck was covered with snow and the back door was frozen shut. We had to use ice scrapers to open the back before we could load. They should have done this for us before we picked up the truck.

Parking lot is too small to maneuver large vehicles through for rental drivers. Pretty nonexistent customer parking as well.

It was irritating that the 26 ft truck was only 3/8 full on pickup for a time sensitive trip to Toronto. It meant having to stop when that wasn't built in to the schedule. Additionally, the blankets that I had reserved were not in the truck. It was an early checkin and I didn't look in the back.We only discovered it when we reached the storage unit in Toronto.

I have never submitted a poor review for anything before this anywhere.I am however appaulled at the service we received this past weekend. Every single person we spoke to gave us conflicting information, our truck was not there and was not going to be available for 4 hours past reserved time, I was told by the GM he would not speak to me only my husband (slight sexism here) as it is in my name and my credit card. We were hardly discounted for the awful service and inconvenience that cost us more time money and frustration. I will share my experience with my friends so they do not have to endure the same stress during very challenging times.

The gentleman who served me at the time of pick up was fantastic. Great customer service. My son dropped the vehicle off and did not check the van out properly. He left the key in the van and locked the door. I did expect more from my 19 year old. Any way, when I was trying to fix my sons mistake, the manager constantly talked down to me. Then had the nerve to hang up on me TWICE, yes I said twice. I ended up having to contact your head office to get the customer service I deserved and she ended up helping me solve this situation.

When I returned the truck I was 7 minutes late because I was refueling the vehicle and because of that I was charged another $39.79 as a penalty! No parking on site was the main problem because I had to wait for someone to pick me up making me late for the return as well. No allowances for Sunday rentals.

Have a more thorough, and consistent tracking of the order and reservation. In 4 different instances, I received 4 different sets of information regarding my rental. The left hand does not appear to communicate with the right. It was all well and good in the end, which I appreciate.

I was very happy with the rental, but I was not happy starting my move with less than a 1/4 tank of gas. I shouldnt have to fill up my rental truck before I start my move!

Have your equipment pulled out of the snowbanks before the customer shows up. I have to give you a time that I will show up for pickup, you should have the equipment ready for that time.

Actually I had the worst experience at U-Haul on January 31st my storage locker in your facility was broken into during business hours which makes no sense to me so you should be able to pull the surveillance videos I haven't heard nothing from the store manager he was informed right away through text message I also have heard from nobody from the store whether there's even surveillance back there and it almost makes me curious if it was an inside job if someone could get back to me as soon as possible that would be great

The entire process from renting a U-Haul truck, moving my belongings into and out of storage was seamless. The facility is clean, well lit and secure. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Ensure your employees at this location demonstrate better customer service and maintain you trucks better. The truck I used during this experience seemed very unsafe for the road as it was shaking very badly and making clunking noises from the drive train. When I called the location to notify them I did not feel safe on the road with it they only said it had been in the shop recently and was fine, to myself and the people I moved with it did not seem safe or fit for the road. When I notified them again whole dropping the truck off they disregarded my concern again and demonstrated very poor customer service.

Truck had a broken drivers side Mirror. Original truck I was to get wasn’t there, as per my reservation, if the truck I reserved is not in I get a $50 refund. Upon brining the truck back, the employee I contacted to change the time truck was due back, didn’t make these changes. Was called a liar, was given multiple excuses one after another. I have prof in Text messages proving when truck was due back at the time I dropped it off, about the $50 refund that was to be placed on my account. Could even get a receipt when I left the store. Employee told me to come back in two days to get it all straightened out. Now the credit card has been changed and I was expecting to pay cash like I said many times. When trying to pay your bill, why would an employee say come back two days later to talk to a manager then put the money on my credit card as soon as I leave. Bullshit I say.

The parking lot is often difficult to maneuver; sometimes the rental trucks and trailers almost block the entrances to the storage unit area. This makes it hard to park close to load and unload.

Overall U-Haul storage facilities are great. Clean, secure and welll maintained. I never got the after hours code so I was not able to access the facility. I only need this once so not an issue.
