Office incredibly small. No more than one person can fit. For some reason my rental was moved to this location from the most convenient location for me. If I have to drive an extra 20 min further from my house there should be compensation for this. The best location I dealt with in the entire move was where I made my original reservation at in Colonial Heights, VA. Charlie was super helpful, and runs a top notch operation.Richard B.
On Saturdays there really should be more than one person working for safety reasons. The second person did arrive but came in later. When I arrived, the door was locked and I went around the side and I saw the person and waved at them. I made a reservation online. When I arrived they said they had the reservation but weren't sure they could honor it. WTF? What is the point of the reservation if they won't hold the space? Then, in trying to close the rental, they weren't open very late, we had to have a person walk through it (ridiculous), and while in line, there were two people in front of me which took almost an HOUR to get to me. The cranks used to tighten the straps around tires were in need of an upgrade or at least WD40. Because of this we had to work harder tightening and loosening it much harder loosening. But thats small fix would recommend and definitely revisit.TEDRICKANDRE W.

From my recent experience with uhaul I think that it would be wise to inform customers who are traveling out of town doing one way trips that there is no type of partial refund for turning the truck in early.LAPORCHSASHAKINA K.

The potholes were pretty bad near the storage unit. U-Haul representative tried to charge me extra money for the storage. Which is totally wrong. They took it out my account they put it back in my account and then they took it out my account. Someone is playing around with my credit card number. The agent did an excellent job, but needed another associate to assist her. There were many people waiting and no fault of hers, were restless and angry. She was doing a great job, but she was doing the job of 2 people. You want better reviews, hire more staff, and the ones busting they're buts just to keep up deserve a raise. Employee was clueless about our reservation. She said she had it but wasn't sure she could fill it as walk-ins could have taken the one remaining storage unit. What is the point of a reservation if they won't hold the unit for us? We were very angry but finally she found the last one in the facility. Would not recommend this to anyone. The truck was supposed to be available for mobile pickup and was not. The woman was mad that she was supposed to be off but there was nothing I could do about that. It took over an hour to pick up a truck I should have been able to pick up with my mobile device.STEPHANIELYNN P.

There is no lighting when dropping the truck off. It was super dark you couldn't see anything. Someone could have broke into my car lucky they didn't but definitely need lights at this location at nightKrystal D.

You don't open until 9am so you don't get out with the truck until 10am. And you want to have it returned by three. Please let me know how you are supposed to move a three bedroom house in 5 hours. Also I ordered a 26 ft truck and right before the move you didn't have one available. This caused for multiple trips.I wasn't pleased and won't be using UHAUL in the future.thomas C.

I had originally picked a different location, with a 7:30 pick up. U-haul changed my location, and I was told as I did self check in that the location Didi not open until 9. Luckily the staff member saw me and opened early so that I could keep my schedule. Wonderful customer service at the location after u-haul almost ruined my day.STEVENDOUGLAS K.

Their computer and printer have not been working for over 2 weeks, per the employee. The contract had the WRONG trailer number listed. I was over charged for the pads. The wrong dolly was listed on the contract. This place should be shut down as it looked like a dump and the employees have no idea of what's going on there.NORMAN K.

One attendant was extremely nice and helpful, but he was called to another job while we were there and had to leave. The other attendant was incredibly slow to do everything- it took us a hour and a half to return our trailer and rent 2 storage units (and we were the only customers there). At one point the attendant asked me if I could just schedule the rental units on my phone (though, again, I was the only customer there). I will not be returning to this location ever again. I traveled 300 miles in a truck that shook so bad that it took me a while to feel comfortable again after getting out. I was afraid that I wouldn't make it to my destination.HOPE H.

The truck that I had had an exhaust leak and was extremely loud. The radio did not work. The gas milage was extremely pour at 6.0 MPG. When I called customer service on Sunday and spentb30 mine on hold waiting to get my drop off location changes due to the issues listed above I was basically told thats not my problem and I can't tell you what is wrong with your equipment and got transfered to road side assistance and was on hold there for another 30 min. Employees seemed overwhelmed with not enough help. Once it was your turn to be helped, they did fine. This has always been an issue with uhaul. They expect too much out of too few employees. Customer service suffers. This location seems run down and not very well taken care of. I almost got stuck in the gravel in the lot and had to dodge the potholes in other places. Just not very organized. Matthew was very conscientious about doing a good job and did the best he could.William T.

My reservation called for me to pick up the trailer at your Jefferson Park Rd location. But, I got a text instructing me to pick it up at your South Crater Rd location. When I showed up on So. Crater Rd, I was told they didn't have that type trailer there. But, Jefferson Park Rd, (my original pickup location), had 4 of them, and I needed to go there. What?????
