You should be able to contact other businesses that rent Uhaul trucks. This way customers don't have to rent a truck for one day and turn it in and then go to another place the next day to get a truck. This was very frustrating for me.GLORIA P.

I brought the 15ft truck back two days earlier because it was dangerous to drive. Noticed WAY TOO MUCH play in the steering wheel. Noticed WAY TOO MUCH play in the WAY the truck shifted gears from STOP to DRIVE. The acceleration was WAY TOO FAST. AND WITH JUST leaving the facility, I actually crossed a double line on the road. VERY difficult to handle this truck. Needs overhaul work done on steering and engine.TRUDY K.

This is not a reflection on the actual location.... I tried using the mobile app for pickup since the store wasn't open for another couple hours. The app was so slow and unresponsive! I had to use the web version for pickup and that was still slow. It took over a half hour to complete the pickup process. So that was irritating. The actual location has always been great, though sometimes under-staffed. The employees treat everyone well and with their full attention.Andrew O.

I called in attempting to rent for an additional day. The representative stated just to have back by 7 pm. I just got into a car accident that morning, and was too sore to move effectively, which is why I asked for an additional day. Due to traffic, I was 3 minutes after 7, all employees where leaving, and didn't respond to me. So, I started the return check in process, only for it to take a long time with no idea what I was doing. I got changed a second day, and if that was the case, to be billed for the extra day, and not be able to have utilized it. I had to rerent another truck!!!APRIL M.

I reserved a 10' at a specific location then the day before I was picking it up the location changed to an hour from my original pickup . Then searched all surrounding pick up sites and not a thing available except a 20' truck still 40 min awayâ€¦on top of that, the website wouldn't let me edit my pick up or drop off location for my current reservation so I had to go through a whole new reservation process. TWICE my U-Haul order was unavailable. I was promised $50 credit I didn't receive which was told to me twice I'd receive it both conflicting waysâ€¦email and at pick up. Didn't get it. Insufficient check in people twice with long waits. Best condition truck so far but gas mileage was horrible.. Unless I get the credit promised I'll go elsewhere next time. I recently purchased a new hitch and ball. The 2" ball had a 1 1/4" shaft. The facility did not have a wrench or socket to tighten/inspect the retaining nut for the ball. I was curious how they would have inspected any customer picking up a trailer? I spent 45 min running around town to locate a 15" crescent wrench to tighten the nut before I could pick up the trailer.David W.

I tried to reserve a trailer for Saturday at the Milwaukee street location. I checked up on it and they had me pick it up in Waukesha. I had them change it back. I then got a notice that I had to pick it up in whitewater. I drove up the Milwaukee St location and straightened it out with the worker. He checked with the manager and put a note in the reservation that I would pick it up there. When I arrived for pickup the guy at the desk said I had to pick it up in whitewater. Luckily the guy I felt with earlier was there and had the trailer there for me. It is always an adventure with U haul. Whatever your systems are, they are truly fucked up. I have little confidence in your company so I make sure to double check when it's important that I get a trailer. If it wasn't for the good people at the store your company would be a total shit show. It's up to upper management to figure their shit out and get their systems in place and not to rely on the front line employees to deal with it.FREDRICK B.
