Bryan went above and beyond when we returned with our belongings, ensuring we secured the correct storage space for our needs and that returning the truck was quick and easy. Taking off one star for an issue with the brakes as we would have needed to return the truck if it weren't a local move.

CURTIS RI reserved the vehicle + utility dolly online. When i walked in and stated I reserved online, the employee helping me was quite rude and said "you haven't done anything". I felt like i had done something wrong or maybe something was missing so I allowed him to register whatever he needed to in the system. For the first time in 10 years of renting U-Haul, I was given a damaged vehicle that smelled like cigarettes. The employee who charged me over $100 for a $20 rental didnt even inform me that the vehicle was damaged. He asked no important questions and he provided no important information but charged me stupendously. They did not have a utility cart, still charged me for one and threw an Appliance dolly in the van which was bigger than me. The employee was also not concerned with the details of me needing the rental for 2 days because i got a call the next day after taking the van home about returning it or getting charged additionally. I got charged $155.50 in total for this 2 day rental which i drove less than 20 miles. Please explain!!!!!!

LYRA TI reserver a 10 feet truck and I had the confirmation number and required information in 7917 Cypress ave, Glendale, NY. Which is close to my house. However, next day when walking to this location I found out that this company changed my reservation to this location. I called customer service and I was transferred to different department and when I was asking to give a closer location the person hanged out the phone. I had to pay 50 dollars to a taxi to pick up my truck and the company charged me a lot for the extra miles used to reach this location.

EDUARD YStaff is very friendly and supportive, especially Jazmine, who works hard to see that everyone gets what they need! I have rented trucks from the Jamaica U=Haul in the past and have been very happy with the trucks. This time, however, the truck displayed a "Service Engine" warning the entire time. A UHaul employee checked the truck, checked the oil, and said it was okay to drive. The truck also displayed a warning to to "Change Oil." It had almost no gas when I picked it up..
VICKIE EHorrible facility. There are a bunch of people on the property looking for work, so they walk up to your truck begging to get hired. The property is very dirty and the line inside to get the equipment was long. They let staff and other customers interrupt while you're at the counter trying to get on your way. In all of my years, this is the worst location I've ever been to. And to top it off, the equipment wasn't there when I first got there. I had to come back in a few hours again with the truck and spend more gas money in order to get the trailer.
BRIAN NVehicle was normal clean but when i returned i clean it better and they charge me $25 and thats not good. I want my money back. Also i returned the vehicle at 9:40 and they send me the message one hour late. So no good

LENNOXMORTIMER FI had a cabin and a car full of roaches. there were roaches all over my couch cushions, boxes of clothes, the front cabin. I contacted customer service and they couldn't even pull up my reservation. When I finally got a dispute in after being given the run around from the store to corporate, the regional manager told me that "she would have just brought the van right back and I did X miles". I paid to drive a long distance and now that I'm X miles into my trip and paid gas and toll, I was supposed to remove my items and turn around. She accused me of trying lying to try and get a refund. Began arguing on the phone. Told me I wasn't getting anything back. I've had to throw out belongings and exterminate my home. Not to mention the guy at the store slipped up and told me they already rented a roach infested uhaul truck. Disgusting. Will never use uhaul again
INDIA BI put in a reservation 1 month prior, I arrive on the date the truck was suppose to be there and they only had a 10 ft truck. This truck took me twice the money in fees, gas, labor than expected. Now I get a bill that 200 dollars OVER the 450 I was told at the rental center. I called and inquired, and was told by your scheduler that I can have the truck 2 days longer at no additional charge, WHICH IS NOT THE CASE!

Cesar TOur boxes arrived a week late, with inconsistent or no adequate updates provided by Uhaul throughout the week we were waiting. We were told different things by either a phone customer service rep or the consultant helping over text. We understand delays happen but when it's your life belongings in limbo, a real time, accurate update to help ease the stress would go a long way. Additionally, being notified our delivery would be late the night before at 9pm (after hours of operation, preventing us from actually talking with a representative at that time to understand why) was not the best customer experience. I even wrote an email asking for more details that evening and never once received a call back as requested. Moreover, the app experience and availability of real time updates were unreliable, If available at all. Overall, not the best customer experience and while we received a $300 refund, would love to see if there is anything else that could be done to help make this right. John DEveryone was timely and helpful. There was some confusion about communication as I received direct phone calls the day before delivery regarding the order, but my boyfriend received text messages on his separate number on the day of delivery.

Explaining what some of the images on the screen mean. I kept getting warning signals about something call Uconnect which had to go to a dealer. I had no idea what that meant. Ariana SMy UHaul was double the price seems odd from $47.95 to $100. We didn't use the Dollie's at all it was a waste. Shook out and folded neatly all covers.refilled gas more than we were given. And also used a third of our time registering. The van was left in great shape as how we got it. But the workers were excellent and friendly also knowledgeable about their work.

Doris APlease maintain the trucks better. Passenger side door would only properly shut if it was slammed very hard. Back door made extremely loud noises over even the slightest of bumps. Cab smelled terrible.

It would be easier to use the employee rather than do everything online. It's ridiculous I had 3 different contacts on my reservation just to get the rental. The fuel level on my truck was higher than what I actually had.

Also it states a disk lock will be provided based on the online information. I checked in after hours, so it would be helpful to provide clear instructions for customers that arrive after hours. Thank goodness the clerks answered the phone before closing and I was able to get some questions answered to avoid being unable to store my items. The two clerks inside before closing were very helpful and aided in clearing things up.
