The original pick up location was a hot mess. The lady behind the counter had her kids running around everywhere, and they did not have my trailer rental ready. I had to go to a different location to pick up. Then, because of the change, I was not able to rent a one-way and had to pay more than triple because I had to keep the trailer the entire weekend while I was out of town to bring it back to the new location. I will NEVER rent from U-Haul again.

The only problem I see is the high fuel consumption of your trucks. I think you could improve it considerably if you make some mechanical changes to your vehicles.

My reservation was for a 7 am contactless pick up of a 17 foot truck. I got a call stating my original location wasn't going to work because they didn't have a 17 foot truck and the woman on the phone kept trying to send me 10 miles out of the way. Finally she reserved a 20 foot truck in the same direction. When I got there for my contactless pick up- the store was closed and I was sent a message that I had to wait for them to arrive at 11. Called uhaul- placed on hold for 17 minutes- my friend called after 10 minutes and got through before i did. They found me a truck- now farther away and now 35 minutes after my pick up time (I had movers scheduled to show up through uhaul moving help- and now we were going to be late. Asked for a mileage credit for the inconvenience and having to drive further and was told they already fixed my problem and no I wasn't getting a credit. The people that got us the truck were amazing- the process and the issues were terrible.

This place was a God send to me! Chelsea told me about the 1 free month of self storage which is just what I needed! The staff was friendly and very helpful. They had dollies for.me to use that made it easy for me to get my stuff in. Thank you U-Haul of Irving!

We didn't receive the 2 dollies that I reserved for my move which is honestly the most important when moving big furniture. my move was delayed because I had to get dollies from somewhere else. However customer service was nice and added extra 15 miles and an extra day when I could've used the truck.

Arrived at 7:01 and there were people standing outside trying to get help and we were also unaware we would have to do a after hours return online. The workers did little to help and just told everyone to call customer service which had a wait time of 63 minutes. It took my a while to figure out tje website after putting in my mileage because I didn't add .0 on the end it kept saying it was wrong and less than what I started with.

The customer service representative didn't even gave me the exact amount of money back she said she didn't have change so she kept almost a dollar she said she didn't have change so she road it up and she was mean.

The vehicle was wrecked. The bumper was cutting a gash in the tire. The bumper was tied up with some electrical wires. I requested to speak with a manager however this still hasn't happened.

The van rented had a tire pressure sensor that kept going off so I had to make several stops to make sure it was not flat. Apparently the location knew about it and never fixed it. Then the oil change was due within my first 10 miles. I was told it was 107.48 for the total and 127 was taken from my card.

The online system was not working well and I told the person who helped me and he told me that when I returned the trails to leave it and call the next day it was Sunday to notify them of the teal rental time and so, and they charged me $20 per hour after service I called and they told me that it was because there wasn't something when I left the trail, but no one told me that I had to do something😕

The employee that initally assisted in my trailer rental did not secure the trailer hitch to my trailer ball hitch. This was discovered as the trailer hitch came off my ball hitch while driving. Luckly, minimal damaged was caused and no other vehicles were involved. Upon returning the trailer, the manager of the store was there and handled my return. He refunded my money, replaced the adapter that broke, and apoligized for the incident. He did all he could to make the situation right and I was very appricative of that.

No issues. In and out experience, which is helpful given I just moved my entire life from one city to another. Moving takes all day, getting a truck picked up and dropped off shouldn't. Thanks Irving and Denton teams at Uhaul.

Wasn't able to turn in equipment on time the website kept telling me that my location indicator was not on but it was on. I was at the location way ahead of time but the website was very difficult to answer the question hate using website cameras should be enough to turn in equipment I was charge an extra 20 dollars all because I wasn't able to access the website tried over and over again

I would not recommend UHaul overall. I made my reservation a week in advance for a 26' truck, only to show up to find out that my reservation had been canceled on Wednesday? I had not done that, but for some reason UHaul did. I didn't even get a cancelation notice!

It was unclear where I could park the truck. All of the obvious spaces were full, except for one that was blocked because some idiot parked their return in a way that blocked access. There could have been email instructions or a notice near the key drop that keys should be dropped AFTER completing the online return process. I locked the truck and dropped the keys and then saw AFTERWARD the I needed to take a pic of the odometer.

Reservation of additional truck loading items was not available when picking up truck due to none were available. Why reserve such items when they are not there. A already stressfull move with no equipment to to assist is not good business. If these items are set aside for those customers that have reserved them then it would be better than the customer having to go somewhere else to get the equipment.

Took forever to get help. I was given the key and told the trucks outside. It was in the very back of the buildings. When I came to drop it off... the store smelled like someone was smoking weed in the store.

I reserved 3 dozen moving blankets with my reservation. When I showed up the associate informed.me she sold all the moving blankets right before I showed up. I ended up having to buy them somewhere else for a lot more money. Moving is expensive and that is the last thing someone needs to deal with when they are on a schedule. I had to run and grab more and had my movers waiting for me. If I pre order certain things I should get them. You should look at your orders for the day and compare them to your inventory so this doesn't happen. Next time I will use another service.
