I return the vehicle with more fuel then I received it and I was charge for 4 gallons of fuel I also did not use your appliance Dolly Because of the truck that I had had no ramp can someone please give me a call 917-449-0707 this is unacceptable to be charge for something that I did not use

Hire customer friendly representatives at the Sheridan Blvd location who are kind and are willing, ready and able to put the customer first. Proactive employees are needed, especially in a time such as this when life has presented itself very challenging on many different levels. Uhaul customers are usually experiencing some kind of challenge in their life, which is why one would need this particular service; whether it be a vehicle rental, and or, or a storage unit. Also, the customer is usually working under time constraints which is why the customer service representative(s) need to be sensitive to these needs. Kind and sensitive representation is what UHaul needs on the frontline. This location needs an employee OverHaul. Shameful representation of the Uhaul organization.
Please do not erroneously charge people for damages. This is highly unprofessional and unbecoming
The truck cabin wreaked of cigarette smoke. I don't know if there is a way to tone down that smell, as it is way too late to eliminate it.

Full disrespect and rudeness. I was ignored, overcharged with fraudulent claims by very rude and inattentive worker, mistreated and lied to. Very nasty individual who is a liar and needs to get fired. Complained to his superiors and branch office. Have video and photographs of all lies, disrespect, manipulation, ignoration and fraud by one specific person who wasted time intentionally and created false claims. He needs to get fired immediately. He was very very rude and unprofessional. This is not how you deal with customers. Horrible customer service and disrespectful and zero education level. Avoid this location at all costs. Have videos to prove it. Will file claims until person is removed and thrown out from facility and fired for good. He is a crook and belongs in prison.

Attendant was helpful and quick, hooked trailer up and checked all lights to make sure working.
I was double billed, the supervisor did not institute any measures for that to avoid this situation. To which there was no accountability regarding this error. To conclude, how many others were double charged and this facility had did it knowingly?
i rented for a 2 day period the back door got stuck and i could not use it i brought it back early and was still charged as if i rented for a full 2 day, then because i could not clean the back due to the broken door besides charging for use i couldn't use. The unprofessional "manager" added on a cleaning fee and was nasty to me telling me. with the manager being the rude one there is no one left to talk to and complain too i wasn't even offered a replacement.
Reserved truck at Rockville Centre. Didn't realize that location changed until last minute. Cost me an extra $40 in mileage . Tried using “chat†feature on internet which wasn't helpful. Was directed to call a 631 number in the morning. Called- no one answered. Called again and it kept routing me to different locations. No was was able to help me solve my problem. This was an overall Uhaul issue, not particularly Inwood. When returning truck, was accused of hitting something. Was also accused of taking the hand truck out of the back, however, when i got the truck- the back door was wide open.

In the past I have had good experiences with this place. Maybe I caught the guy on the wrong day. He was more interested in talking on the phone about web design then he was in helping me.

The facility opened 30 minutes late. The truck did not start. The facility refused to change the battery. The fuel tank was not full.
The truck is in poor condition. I wouldn't recommend to put this truck on the road. Too many miles. Bad steering wheel. Needs maintenance. And I wasn't happy with the service at the location.
The office staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the packing supplies and vehicles. The uhaul truck was spotless, smelled clean and in excellent working order. I will definitely use this location for future moving needs.

Your service was excellent until the last day. I literally waited in the store office for around 25 minutes before anyone assisted me. I called the office and I just heard the phone ring. I called the store manager Ms. Cleopatra Jones-Brown at 516.239.6374 and no answer. Her business card has her cell phone so I called it at 347.832.7237 and she still did not answer. I texted her and she still did not answer. By the time someone came the store had approximately 8 people waiting for service. This final day was horrible and unacceptable. You cannot leave you door open and then when customers come in there is no one to take care of them. Also don't put you cell phone on your business card if you are not going to answer the calls. If you open your doors THEN STAFF YOUR FACILTIY ACCORDINGLY.

Having multiple vehicles for customers when others don't return trucks on time. That way a customer can get vehicle they ordered instead of substitutes.

Upon returning the vehicle, I was accused of damaging the vehicle. I received the vehicle damaged and was not aware. The managers for both locations were going back and forth as the videos for the vehicle prior to renting was not clear. It was very obvious that it was an old damage.

The truck I had reserved was not available and I had to take a bigger truck, the guys at the store were excellent, they accommodated me and only charged me for the 10 foot truck rental. They were very professional and helpful. The only reason I didn't give an excellent rating was because the truck I reserved wasn't available and I had a hard time with the larger truck. a smaller truck or van wouldn't have been enough space
Personal at the Inwood location are helpful and friendly. For example, last week I was struggling to fit two large boxes into my car when one of the guys approached and helped me fit the boxes----Thank you
Truck was not at the location that I arranged for. My scheduled pickup time was 10AM and it was available after 1PM. When the previous renter showed up with the truck, they then rented a storage unit and had to unload while we waited after already waiting for hours. U-HAUL had no control of the situation. No compensation from U-HAUL for a tremendous amount of inconvenience except $50. Will never use U-HAUL again!

They lady refused to give me a truck for 24 hours and told me I can only rent it for 8 hours I came there next day and picked it up at 9 am and returned it 5 mins after 7 and was charged extra the next day . I've never felt so unwelcome in an establishment like U-Haul a great name

The staff at this location were helpful and pleasant. Uhaul's process of changing reservation pickup/dropoff locations last minute is mildly infuriating. Moving is stressful enough, and getting a call 1-2 days before your move to be told "we don't have the truck you reserved" is extremely unenjoyable.
The web experience was one of the worst things possible. It took 45 minutes and I could not upload pictures. This alone is a reason to use competitors.

The new guys can have more of a friendly gesture to converse with their customers. But over all I think this location is great.
Our experience was excellent. Pick up and drop off went quickly and easily. Cleopatra was very accommodating after we checked in the truck and realized we left something in there and needed the touch again for 30 minutes. Highly recommended Jay R

Very disappointed. Came in w my wife n daughter w reservation. Torn between 2 sizes. Had questions. Customer service was horrible. Tanika was talking to me like every question bothered her. Attitude and talked back. Felt like an argument than a conversation.Told her I need to see actual storage space to make final decision. Negative vibes and I still proceeded w purchase. Yonkers rep took time to take me to actual storage space,she didn't care. Im aware of uhaul cards sometimes not working properly gave me a used card w back stripe very worn, told me it was brand new,could not activate it. So i suggested to try another card she said no.yonkers rep tried 2 cards before giving me one thats works. felt uncomfortable taking card that didn't work. Once we got to the back we needed guidance she refused. At this point my wife said cancel but I still proceeded to the back. Once I got there, the stairs and narrow walkway was not gonna work for me which I for warned her if pillar or anything inconvenient would make me not proceed w me paying i would refund. I WAS A LAYDOWN EASY PURCHASE.! If she took the time be professional, courteous, friendly i would still have took it. But the disappointment, anger n frustration w her push me to cancel and give my business in another storage in valley stream. I didnt ask for free storage i paid for mine. didnt deserve this treatment. There's more but I'm done. Asked to speak to manager she said no. When I came back in to give her me receipt for refund. She didn't want to, ask her coworker to do HER the favor . Rep name Tameka proceeded w my refund. She was friendly and helped HER out to help me out. Appreciated that!. Money hasn't hit my card yet . Ms. Cleo please call me 7184338069 to follow up about refund sorry it did not work out..
While the services were great and the facility was well maintained, there was no way to get items up the stairs easily.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was convenient and felt really safe. I have had a lot of great experiences with u-haul over the years, from moving trucks to storage spaces. Thank you for providing such a wonderful mix of products to the public over the years.

The quality and maintenance of the units on the upper level that we rented is very different from that on the lower level (we have friends who rent ground floor units). The upper level is unprotected (no ceiling other than a type of chicken wire) and exposed to vermin (many traps and poison packets in view). There was also difficulty with the key card as well accessing the building after hours. The lobby/sales area is very clean and well maintained. The staff is also stellar. They’re professional, friendly, polite and helpful. They make all the difference.

They have rodents some of my items were destroyed because of them. Some workers were not the best but they did get rid of the worst female in there. Every month I had an issue with payment changes.

I was very unhappy that Uhaul increased their rates $5.00 for 8 consecutive years. Mouse droppings in my unit. They padlocked my locker for being one day late. That shows there was no trust between us

I was very pleased with the service. However I was not happy with the after service after repeatedly asking in doing the last transaction "is that all" and called 3xs that I have moved out.
I received bed bugs on all of my things, had to throw away my whole bedroom set. I paid for storage for 6 months and I could of just thrown half of it away saved the money and bought a new bedroom set
Cleopatra was great with customer service and thoroughly explaining the process and the fees of renting a you haul and renting a storage. She was very pleasant friendly and open for any questions.

Cleopatra Jones was wonderful. She really helped me out two years ago when I was in a bind and went out of her way to secure me storage at a time when every storage facility was filled.
To many people that uhaul rent storage to do not pack there things they just put them in storage no rapping no boxes dirty and this is one of the reason UHAUL HAS RATS. Staff should watch moving in
