There was an older gentleman here that was extremely helpful and polite who even explained to us where the recycling dumpster was so we could get rid of some furniture boxes that we forgot to remove from the bed of the truck. The younger man who checked us in and inspected the truck was not as helpful and simply asked us multiple times "but what are we gonna do with all those boxes though?"ERICH Z.

The person who booked me the unit didn't give me a big enough space so I had to rent another unit. I had trouble with the lock and had to buy an extra lock. I didn't like that the unit was upstairs. I gave the experience a high rating only because Tiffany Harrison was so helpful at the place. If not for her I would have rated the experience poorly. Also, I was told I would get a month free, rented the truck and only need storage for 6 days. However I was charged over $110. That's on top of what I paid for the truck. Busy day during holiday weekend so they had crew waiting outside to make returns super easy. The trucks are extremely difficult to start. We were unable to start the first truck we were given. A very helpful team member assisted us and after jiggling the key for several minutes was able to get the engine started. However, given how hard it was to start, we requested another truck. This one was easier to start but still required significant jiggling and multiple attempts to get the engine started. While the staff were all very helpful in getting us a new truck, this caused a significant delay in our moving process.CHRISTOPHER M.

This is not relevant to this location particularly, but rather to U-haul in general. It is frustrating to be entrapped by the advertising flaunting "as low as $19.95" whereas in reality all of the costs stack up and for just 3 hours it was over $70. The reservation process on the website is annoying as you need to constantly refuse things that are being proposed for addition to the purchase. The self-service feature needs some serious upgrades! It took three refreshes before I was connected with a car that was actually on the lot and personnel was not helpful at all. I really regret utilizing this service and despite me submitting two separate complaints, uhaul proceeded to charge me the full amount. Arrived after hours to drop off the trailer - parking lot was totally blocked - called customer service was told I had to take the trailer "home" and return it the next day. The customer service at this location is deplorable. The staff is extremely rude, and the General Manager Osman is very disrespectful and short tempered with customers. I requested a lock cut, as I lost my key and I've had the unit for about six years. He told me that it will be a minute. When asked a time frame he said, "It will be a minute" and walked off. I came back approximately two hours later, and he was still unable to provide assistance. There were two females working when I arrived. One seemed to have an attitude the other barely spoke English. I had asked for a ground floor unit and did not get it. Also the parking situation is dangerous there - only one way in and out and if loading area is full you have to figure out what to do with a 36" uhaul. I was extremely frustrated. 1. The requirement to use the U-haul sold crescent lock is a scam and money grab by Haul and its dealers. I have had storage units for a decade using my own combo lock and never had a security problem. The idea that the required lock provides better security is a lie. 2. The movable ladder necessary to access my second level space constantly wobbled making it unsafe to access my unit. There was not another ladder available use. this is unsafe and reported to the facility. 3. The storage unit door did not close properly and align so the lock could be easily installed. This was reported as well. It took two of us on a the above rickety ladder to push the door enough so it would align and lock the unit door. Such a basic. Get it right. 4. We were only shown (1) elevator. Lots of waiting. this is a converted 3-story warehouse and if another elevator exists we were not shown it. More focus on making money and less on customer service by investing in necessary vertical transportation. Really not sure I'm not going to move back to the Cube Smart a few blocks away.
