very slow line up to be served. Took 30mins. to get through three rentals in front of me. Van had marks on it - I disputed with no issues but still risky for the customer.

Arrived to do my mobile check in, but the app wasn't working so I was forced to go inside and wait in line. I was in line for an hour and a half. Saturday morning and only 2 people working. The line up was out the door. I was very disappointed with the wait time and doubnt if I will rent from Uhaul again. Had an equally bad experience at the other Innes location last time, so thought we'd try another location. I will try another company next time.

Beside that my truck safety was absent (thank god it was not a long distance trip), the computer or rental software kept freezing about a dozen times or/and the customer's entry terminal...management need to look closer st QA at that location...other customers I talked to were disappointed too

More staff. Took me an hour in the line-up to just pick-up the trailer. After that everything was quite smooth. And your staff were fantastic, working their butts off. But phones were ringing and they had to leave the desk to take each customer out to their rental. There should be other staff there to do this. Need to understand your surge times and have appropriate staffing levels to ensure smoother pick-up. Drop-off was easy enough, minus the fact that the empty vehicles weren’t removed from the return line so it was getting pushed to the road. Again, might’ve been a staffing issue. Great facility otherwise, I just think you need a manager on site. Someone who can deal with phones. Staff for pick-up and staff for taking customers to rentals. And probably separate staff for storage units.

Staff was very friendly, but it took over 1 hour to get a truck I had reserved, the staff was trying their best but seemed to be unable to due to poor software and processes.

The pick up was scheduled at 9 AM. Got the truck at 11:30. I was in line for about 1 : 30 hours. Once I got the truck, the truck didn’t start. It took about another hour to get a new truck. Got the truck with not even 1/4 of a tank. Ridiculous !

Understaffed waited over 30 mins to return the vehicle even the girl who did the return served a customer who came in after me first. Then when trying to use the handle held return device she said it was a coworkers login info and she had to guess it. Not very professional. I will not be renting from here again. Not to mention they force you to take the $15 insurance on the vehicle. It doesn’t tell you that on the website. It’s a classic bait and switch scam. Easy money for the company.

The location itself was fine, and I found the installer to be quite professional though he did forget to include the trailer ball. I found that the website was very misleading . When I place the order I asked for a date that was shown available for this location only to be told when I arrived that it could not be met as the equipment had to be ordered and that would take at least 10 business days! This after waiting over 45 minutes before someone even talked with us. There was no follow up call to indicate that the equipment had arrived for our install to ensure we weren't wasting our time. We were travelling from Stittsville so the first trip was not only a waste of time but also a waste of gas. Lots of areas to improve, especially communications. Perhaps a service manager is needed allowing the techs to focus on their jobs instead of trying to do everything themselves

Proximity of this location is a plus. I did not have any issues with the vehicle I rented. Just felt the time spent to drive off with the vehicle and then dropping off the vehicle before I could leave could be shortened. I felt my rental case was a simple one that could have been handled much quicker.

You need to do something about your "$19.95" rate. If you are renting a pick-up or cargo van (9 foot), these have mandatory $15 insurance on top. So, even though the van says it rents for $19.95, the reality is that it is not available for less than $34.95. Yes, you can go up to a 10 foot box and waive the insurance (if such a van is available), but the advertising for cargo vans is misleading, at best. Just advertise the actual price, along the lines of "$34.95 per day plus gas and mileage". Simple. Still, overall the rate was good, the service was excellent, even being short-staffed at the location, and availability was great.

This location was very unorganized, under staffed and unprofessional. They need more works and a better system as the two times I went I dealt with frustrated workers who you can tell were having a stressful day with their attitude.

I, and about 10 other customers arrived to pick up our equipment around 7:00 a.m. (posted opening time). When nobody showed up by 7:30, we started calling the 800 number and were told that someone would be there in 15-20 minutes. At 8:20, after a number of us called customer service, the two staffers arrived together, coffee in hand and opened up as if nothing was out of order. I have been in touch with your customer care folks about this experience. There clearly needs to be some adjustments at this site. It is a huge location - the largest I know of in Ottawa and it needs to be better. I told the customer service folks that EVERY vehicle was unlocked and at least one had the keys in the ignition - we had time to kill, so we walked around. The return area looked like someone had just dropped everything and walked away the night before: cleaning solution bottles sitting around, tools on the ground, etc. When I returned the trailer, there were at least five trucks parked in the return area, so it was impossible to even get through, meaning I had to take a wide route and then finesse the trailer into a spot, after the smoking staffer chirped at me about where it ought to go, before I could even ask. The equipment is arranged willy-nilly in the lot and it smacks of a place that needs (1) more supervision and (2) more TRAINED staff. I will be avoiding this location in the future.

ok, where do I start. trucks and trailers parked everywhere. no rhyme or reason hard to pick up a trailer. harder still to pickup. the young lady at the counter was amazing. constantly apologizing, as she was alone. no i e to help her. ridiculous thing to watch. the trailer was full of blankets, not swept out, it took 40 minutes to get hooked up. despite me having a profile and an « express ». dropping off was just as bad, mother and son (they both work there?) swearing and carrying on. really? parking was almost impossible. i’m blown away at the abject unprofessionalism.

The only thing I did not like was the email that was sent to check the vehicle expired so I looked noted the x spots when I return the employee tried to tell me there was new damage on the truck just above an x. I told her not possible the truck was parked on the street and the side she was pointing to was the passenger side. She said doesn’t matter you took 15$ ins.

Absolutely horrible service. Incredibly long wait times to get the equipment. Poorly trained staff. And my RESERVED equipment wasn't even available - had to get half of it at another location. Return after-hour did not work and got charged for 5 extra days as a result. Very dissatisfied.

I used this location to move and store my belongings over a 3 month period. I found the staff extremely helpful, patient and polite with myself, and with other clients ahead of me in the lineup.

After being reassured that the U box would be ready we were advised there was no reservation for the Ubox . Booking number 95762682. We now have a storage until instead of a uBOX Not enough staff .
