Explain to renter on their making a reservation, that they cannot pay part credit card and part cash, and if it's all cash an $60 extra deposit is required â€¦ That will be refunded when unit is returned, but having to get extra cash delayed my rental time and took extra time in an already busy day..James E.

Charged me 18 dollars for gas when I got it at 3/4 tank I did gas it up with 15 dollars we did not go that many miles I was in a rush I feel I was overcharged for the gas it had the similar amount of gas in it upon return I won't use this location again I did not receive receipt until 2 days later as wellMelissa G.

When I got my truck she told me and highlighted it that the gas was at 3/8 I took a picture because it didn't look right so when I returned the truck she asked me if I was going to put gas in it I said no ma'am and I proceeded to show her the picture I had and the time that I took the picture she okay that's fine and walked off then I check my account and they had took the money anyways I always use uhaul and have a storage unit but I think I'll be switching being dishonest is a NO for meLakeisha C.

Was informed the manager is very difficult to work with, does not train her people well, and spends way to much time with her husband while she is on shift. From a customer's point of view, it would appear this location is having a lot of issues between management and the employees. These issues are rolling over to the customers who have to bare the brunt of the struggles within, especially when training is not prioritized.Becky S.

Poor service. I scheduled online but with no way to know that the online times did not line with when their hitch installer was there or that my parts hadn't arrived. Showed up at my assigned time to find that out and they told me they would call me when my parts came in to schedule. They never calledâ€"I had to go through the corporate website chat to even find out if they had my parts. Found out they scheduled me without my knowledge on a day I was swamped and couldn't make that time. Asked them to call. They called but let it ring once and left a voicemail confirming the appointment I couldn't make. Finally, I just dropped my car off super early that day since when I called, it routed me to the corporate line instead of to the store directly. The wait was always 30-60 mins and I could never get through to anyone to reschedule. When I picked up my car after the hitch installation, they tried to charge me again for my service and I had to pull up my bank account to show them the completed charges from a month ago.Tiffany R.

I moved everything out of my storage on Monday Dash September 13, 2021. However I was told that I would not be charged since the 14th was the day I was going to be charged. If I did not clean everything out by the 13th, which I did, I wouldn't be charged the month late fee. However, I was charged today. How do I go about the situation to start my refund?Amber G.
I picked up the truck and there were scratches noted on all sides of the vehicle that were not noted in the original pictures. And then got to my destination only to open the rear of the truck and find out that the site did not put the dolly in the truck. And then called U-Haul waited on hold for 15 minutes and was told that I was being transferred to someone who could take the charge for the dolly off my ticket. I was subsequently disconnected. When I turned the truck in I put information about the dolly in the system and the charge was not removed. This is my first ever poor experience with you all but I am extremely disappointed.Paul S.

Per complaint for the truck rental the check engine light is on. The transmission is slipping and when driving you can not go more than 45 miles per hour because the rpms go past 4 or 5. Also while braking or hard stop the rpms go to 4 or five. I do not believe this equipment was checked properly before renting this to me for a long trip from Ohio to Florida. There was an electrical problem with the vehicle. When you opened the door, the running lights and the instrument (dash) lights came on. When you closed the door, they turned off. It made driving in the evening precarious. All other equipment worked fine.Marcia L.

My boyfriend and I have been in the process of moving into a new apartment after being unjustly evicted from our old one. We've been living out of a hotel room for a couple weeks now and has continued renting a 10' truck to keep our furniture and whatnot in, because the move in date keeps getting pushed back one more day, and at this point it's easier to continue renting a truck than to take it all back out of a truck if there's a 50/50 chance we'll be loading it back up the next day. The last time we extended the rental lasted until two days prior to this review, Monday at 7pm. That being said, my boyfriend and I got incredibly sick and were PHYSICALLY UNABLE to extend the rental over the past two days. Today (Wednesday), we looked out our window to find two people very confidently getting into the truck we paid for (and as an addnote, we had a credit card on file specifically so they could continue to charge if anything like that happened). They were coming to repossess the truck. It had been around 36 hours overdue and I take responsibility for that - although, as I said, we were incapacitated by some virus. What really got me going was, as the repo guys were taking the truck (EXTREMELY rudely at that - we were just asking questions to find out what was happening, and they were being condescending and hostile), they kept telling us that they had been, VER BATIM, â€œcalling us for daysâ€. This was a blatant lie, that can be proven. My call log on my phone shows NO calls from U-Haul, and I read through each one all the way back to Sunday. I even double checked that none of the phone numbers that HAD called me had come from U-Haul. I understand the return was overdue and I'm not denying that. But the repo people's attitudes were disgusting and embarrassing, leaving a bald-face lie as the cherry on top.Cierra S.

Customer service at the Huber U-haul has always been atrocious. The overall team is good, but the female manager has horrible customer service skills. The wait time for service inside the store is terrible. The process takes entirely too long - I believe the problem is exacerbated by a cumbersome computer program. Yesterday, there was only one person behind the counter which doesn't help matters either. Overall, the facility is clean but there is a problem area at the rear north entrance. The downspout discharges right into the area for loading and unloading making things messy on a regular day and treacherous during the winter.sherry p. | Overall Experience

So we went in and just double checked to make sure everything was ready before we went to the unit. Plus i didn't know where it was so i needed directions since the online map was broken. Scott was really nice and very helpful. He showed us the demo unit to make sure i got the right one and even walked us to the unit and showed us how to get in and what to do after hours, which wasn't in the instructions online.
