You need to return/contact customer. 1st time I went for scheduled appointment part wasn't there, but they never let me know & didn't change appointment. When they received the part I never knew it because they never let me know. When I called they said they had part and I missed my appointment at 12. I called at 12:30 and found that out. They wanted to reschedule me 3wks out - what? Finally convinced to allow the next day. They said they would call me when it's ready - at this point I knew better. I tried calling but call center is terrible- 2 20 minute calls later they told me couldn't get ahold of store. Went in before store closed and it was ready. Again- all issues are associated w/ poor customer communication. Just let your customer know - simpleMark R.

UHAUL staff attached the 5 X 8 cargo trailer to my vehicle and made all the connections. I found it odd they did not use the rubber on the hooks at the end of each chain to secure them. When I stopped for gas, I found one of the hooks had been scraping on the ground and the rubber piece was missing. I secured both hooks and had no problems the rest of the trip.Anthony B.

The check engine light was on when I picked it up. I thought that I could check out the truck on the app and spent 30 minutes trying to do this before going in the store to find out that this was not the correct way to pick up the truck if the store is open.BENARD D.
The man that checked me out was not very friendly, but the one that checked me in was very friendly. Based on the checkout, I wouldn't come back to this location, but based on the return experience, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Some people aren't meant for dealing with the public.WALTER R.

The salesperson was friendly. The 3 pieces of equipment we requested was not available. But the truck was at the site and ready to take. The salesperson did not walk us out to the truck and explain any requirements about the truck, to go over the operation of the truck, etc. Other than that it was a good experience.THOMAS T.

i ordered a tow hitch here specifically because it said it was in stock and could be installed within the next two weeks. i never received a call or email notifying me that my appointment was a go, so i called the day prior and a representative told me that my part was in stock at the store and my installation appointment was scheduled. upon arriving the next day (this location is 40mi from my house - i selected it because online said the part was in store), i was told the part was not there. i had taken off the morning from work, too. so my appointment was rescheduled for about a week later. again, i received no notification of anything from the store that led me to believe the part was there, so i called again and was told that my part was actually there and installation could occur. upon arrival at my appointment time, i was told i was good to go. after about 30min had passed and my car was still in the same spot, i went inside for the manager to tell me that the employee responsible for installation had called out sick. so i just took the part and installed it myself w/ a friend. no apology was given by anyone, no refund was offered due to the multiple inconveniences (two mornings off work, four 40mi drives) nothing. remarkably unprofessional service across the board from uhaul and i would recommend literally any other company over them for this service.Joshua B.

I did not drive away with U-Haul, my nephew did. When I returned it, I found glasses, candy wrappers etc. The U-Haul only having 57,000 miles drove really bad. Could not go over 70 even emptied. The whell shook a lot. My nephew a mechanic wasn't sure if we would make it to Michigan. Thankfully, we did.Toni L.

the locks on call the storage doors were broke, you put your lock on and u could still slide the bolt and open the roll up door it was that way on over 90 % of the units. it took the owner almost six months to have them fixed and that was because we complained.candy b. | Overall Experience

Not a great experience. Stood in the parking lot for 35 minutes waiting for the app to "approve" my identification despite having set up a mobile pick up. Not sure why a mobile device check in is something you recommend if this is what the experience is like. Ended up taking me 40 minutes to pick this truck up. This means I had to go inside the location. I was literally made fun of/ criticized of by 3 employees for the quantity of moving materials I needed (this is because they didn't want to load the truck up with all of it). I felt pretty small in that moment as there were other customers in the store and they just kept going on about WHAT I WAS PAYING FOR. They also took turns making fun of another customer who they were on the phone with that they were supposed to be helping. The final straw was when one employee was leaving for the day he said to the cashier helping me: "hope you feel better soon. Get some rest... you're in rough shape." The guy helping me says, "I've been super sick since last night." Seriously?! Never again.RYAN A.

The doors to the facility was open 80% of the time people just walking in and out of the facility the freight elevator broke down took them six weeks to get it repaired doing this time I was not able to move anyting from my storage or taking anything to my storage they propped open the emergency doors on the outside steps allowing anyone to enter the facility the staff was very unfriendly and none helpful.david r. | Overall Experience

The staff and particularly management were understanding, helpful and very kind as I got behind on payments due to lack of income as a result of COVID during this past year. Management offered solutions to late payments and even non- payments without incurring late fees and even accepted partial payments in order to allow me to get caught up. If I were to have any negative comment at all it would be because of the wait time when calling to speak with an associate... However this is completely understandable with a smaller staff due to COVID. Even the answering service staff were friendly and helpful when I had to leave a message for an associate to call me back. In that event I always received a call back from a Uhaul associate in a timely manner with details of my call. My overall experience during this difficult time over the past year is excellent. The young gentleman that are at the front of the facility or not the greatest when it comes to customer service. Very dull not engaging. It's very apparent they are not happy there. The other thing I would like to comment on is the bathroom facility that area needs some work Sink is coming off the wall and the soap that is available is limited. I know from owning my own business OSHA requirements and things like that this is not at all up to par. Huge liability with the sink and it doesn't take much to install a sink soap dispenser. The lighting upstairs if you're trying to empty your unit goes out a little too quickly maybe you can Extend the timer. Other than that your facility seems to be clean I would've liked to of known where the stairs were in case of fire never did find those just a safety precaution for new customers to maybe give them a tour of where the fire exit doors are. We were sent an email that said if we paid in advance we would receive a free lock and not have to check in at the desk. There was no lock in the shed so we had to purchase a lock, which was not expected, and we were unable to get the door to shut as the metal piece was stuck and would not move. What appeared to be an easy move in process turned to be a fiasco. Not to mention that we paid and were billed a week in advance of when the unit was needed for the easy of move in and free lock and that did not happen. I even called to alert that the bill stated the move in day was listed as the day I paid, not the day I selected on the form, i was told it was not an issue, it was all set on their end, it clearly was not.Jessica H. | Online Move In

I was charged $20 for not returning 3 moving blankets. Sad. And to make matters worse, I was charged an additional day for truck rental even though I had three more available days. Thankfully, the U-haul 800 number was able to credit the truck, however they could not address the blanket charge and advised me to contact the local store. But when I call the local store, the call rolls back to 800 number. This is not exactly the way I would manage the local U-haul office. I might check the contract more carefully to make sure I don't over charge the customer, or maybe reach out to a lifetime customer about 3 misplaced blankets before charging the full amount. Instead, I have to spend time straightening out the silly mistakes and remove years of positive U-haul experiences.michael l. | First Impressions
