This was a terrible experience overall. 1. The pickup address was incorrect. When I arrived at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Lincoln they informed me that they did not have my truck - so I had to drive 9 miles to this Hefner location. I did not receive a text about this the night before. 2. One employee at this location was incredibly rude with me. When I went to pick up my truck - the blankets were not in the back. I went back in to ask about the blankets and the employee was very rude about it. After getting in the truck I noticed a cardboard advertisement in the front. I asked the employee to take it - and he got mad and told me I had to keep it with the truck. I threw the cardboard sign in the back of the truck. The employee misinterpreted this and started to threaten me physically. I basically had to talk this guy down from fighting with me.ANDREW A.

Attempted to do after-hours online check-in of equipment. However, the process required a picture of the odometer and after many attempts to upload the picture, the app would not accept any of the pictures. Eventually I had to just leave the equipment without completing the check-in process.Larry P.

Dropped off trailer and rented storage room. The internet did not work and it made the staffs job difficult. The person I was working with did not have the experience necessary to turn in a trailer. The lot person said he would bring a dolly out to help with the unload and never returned. The gate would not open when leaving the storage area automatically. When I left I wanted some kind proof of drop off for the trailer and nothing official could be given. The truck broke down, and the cab have a lot of wear and tear. There were several dents in the truck and looked like it had been in a few incidents. When I tried to call the store I could not get through to the actual store. When I tried to get through to someone I ended up on hold for over half an hour before getting disconnected.JERMAINE B.

Unfortunately, the clerk was new and it was a busy weekend. I was sold a 10 x 30 unit and there were none available for rent. The clerk told us it was our problem as U-Haul corporate still allows the rental of storage units even though none are available. We ended up finding a U-Haul storage unit by ourselves almost 20 miles away and U-Haul charged us mileage on the truck! Oh wait, the first location sold us a lock even though there wasn't a storage unit available. Unbelievable.JESSE P.

Poor customer service. We were handed our receipt and told when returning our trailer after hours, to just leave it in the parking lot. There was no mention of having to check it in ourselves, even after we asked about it. Being called the next day that we were fined for doing as we were told is ridiculous. Yes, we see it on the contract NOW, but the contract saying one thing and your employees saying another feels like we were taken advantage of. Will not use this location again.Julie B.

I was led to the wrong truck which I figured out on my own that it was incorrect. The actual truck i was assigned didn't have a dolly in it. I got charged for it for two days. A dolly would have shaved off so much time for us. Not to mention being charged for something i never even received. When i was going to be later than planned i called to figure out if it would be cheaper to keep it another day or bring in late that night i was told if i used the app and returned it that night I'd only be charged $20 instead of the daily fee. I was still charged the daily fee. Overall ive always used this particular facility due to the customer service. Just very frustrated at the cost and service this particular time.Lena B.

The young man got into a cursing fight with my sister, the truck wasn't a one way like I reserved so I wound up having to drive the truck back in the middle of the night and pay for about 80 miles I wasn't planning on and no effort was made to help out in any way. I will not go to this location again and will tell other people to avoid it also. I have never had an experience like this with UHaul before and this was so bad I will try to find alternatives if I move anything again.BELINDA B.

We were missing a dolly, my pickup location and truck size were changed last minute when I reserved over 1 month ago, truck hadn't been cleaned yet when we arrived, employee did not put notes in the account about the dolly situation so the drop off location employee didn't know what we were talking aboutDAVID W.
