The people were friendly and took care of the problems when they arose. It was great customer care and interaction. However, the truck broke down before we could take the load to the new house. We had to wait hours and it ruined our schedule. The house doesn't have electricity yet so we had to move boxes in the dark. The truck's oil light was on before we even left the uhaul store, and when it was brought to the workers attention they said it'd be fine. This lends me to believe that the trucks aren't cared for like they should be, and that's why the battery problem occurred.SCOTT W.

Reservation made online "didn't exist" in their computer, even after showing them the confirmation email. Employee was able to get it fixed after a long drawn out conversation with off site assistant manager who was more concerned about getting his lunch order right than answering questions from an employee working with a customer. what should have taken ten minutes from walk in through driving off the lot, took fifty minutes. I had problems with this place 17 years ago with turd of a manager who claimed I stole his truck (I am a cop by the way who explained to him the difference between theft and a civil contract dispute). I figured after 17 years I could let it go... Wrong. Will go to some other uhaul or other company entirely before I ever go back to this store. Employees in the store were great in getting things fixed, or I would have been a lot more upset. Get stuff right. In a day and age where customer service is everything to guarantee return business, the Hamilton store only survives because of sheer volume of people who rent there one time. I know several that have told me there experience with this store was as bad, or worse than mine. I guess you don't have to worry about customer satisfaction when everyone who walks through the door is a first (and last) time customer.Jeffrey S.

When I picked up my truck. I pulled it forward to inspect it. I found the back door open. All the blankets were out of the bag and all over the cargo area. There was garbage as well. I went inside and they came out to took the blankets. I think that the truck should have been inspected prior to it being rented out. I rent U-Haul on a fairly regular basis. This location was not up to their usual standards but it was the day after Christmas. The staff on hand was eager but not really well trained. The trailer was filthy. They didn't have my contract ready even though I checked in online early. They couldn't print the contract and took another customer in front of me because they couldn't get it to print. Then they continued to place that walk in customer ahead of me. They started to hook the chains wrong and I had to tell them how to do it. And it took waaaaay to long to pick up a trailer that was prepaid and pre-checked. I use this location often though and it is normally a great experience. I don't blame the staff that was there that day, I blame whomever chose to take the day off and place untrained staff in charge.Patricia R.

The driveway entrance from Maple Street was purposely blocked, and it's much easier to use than the Erie Ave entrance, coming from the south. The buildings main entrance doors are currently not being used. My guess is because of the pandemic maybe? I was not given my promotional first month free. Also my key card did not work so I was unable to access my unit except during business hours. Also the property thinks it is okay to change the locks on your unit without notifying you.
