At pick Up, the representative was curt. The photo policy presented in the manner it was, was off putting. Hands me his cell phone telling me to take my picture for in the event I decide to steal the truck. Additional photos were taken on his phone of the computer screen. This made my personal information feel unsafe or that he wanted to perhaps show up at my home. I did call U-Haul and was assured the photo/ needing additional contact number were allowed, and that the information went into an app and not the individual’s photo library. - pushes button for the insurance coverage saying you don’t have a choice with pick up trucks. I was going to order this service, just was rude. Then when it asked to donate money he said click no, when I said I would , he said you shouldn’t bother it’s a waste. U-Haul already has donated. - the truck smelled so strong of tobacco it triggered migraine and mild wheezing with my asthma. - upon return, myself and 2 moving trucks waited in our vehicle at the drop off line per sign request. After 20+ minutes the person behind me went inside and found the employee, who informed him you need to come inside. Additionally during this time a person had been waiting inside by herself with no employee to be found and she came outside and asked if we knew where anyone was/ what to do. - lastly I kept trying to create account on app so I could leave since I had been waiting so long , but kept getting error and needed to contact costumer services for help.

Kofi EThe truck that I rented was a piece of junk. It wouldn’t start after we got the truck loaded and I went to start it and it was dead. I had to call and get someone to come and get it started. I had to wait for a 1:30 hours before they came. It wouldn’t start again after we got it unloaded. We finally got it by moving the gear shift up and down. The truck pulls to the left and to the right and the shock are warn out. That is asame for you can rent them out for that is unsafe.

Jeff RWorkers were badly informed, put me in the wrong vehicle, (twice) did not alert me that the last one DID NOT have a RAMP although we were continually discussing I was transporting a motorcycle. How was I supposed to load it and unload it? lift 500lbs with my hands? Worker does this EVERYDAY, I tow something every 5-10 yrs, they are the experts, they are the ones whom we trust to ask 1-2 simple questions to better help the customer. Horrible experience. The drop off at Michigan was better, Pam the owner knew her business and actually apologized for Ohio's Hamilton bad service.

Carmecia TThe app us less than user friendly. Mobile check in was useless. The website list the wrong open hours for the location and inaccurate pricing. The staff was helpful and friendly. The truck needs new column bushings for the shifter. Hard to get into gear and keep it there.

SUSAN N | Overall ExperienceMirror on passenger side was very loose. Husband fixed it. Ramp was WAY TOO SHORT AND STEEP for size of truck. Was suppose to help you out by towing a small trailer behind the truck. However, the check in process took way too long and the "rig" was not hooked up. Unfortunately, we were on a tight schedule and could not wait for the tow trailer to be hooked up. My husband had informed the representative of our situation and was assured it would be ready to go when we arrived at the center. Employees were very nice though. We were suppose to have 36 furniture blankets, however we only had 30.

augustine OSupply vans that work and function properly. The uhual I used was absolutely terrible. Couldn’t go over 35mph barely wanted to shift and shifting into reverse was tricky. Definitely not worth $140.00 with gas included in that. I drove 88 miles and charged that? I’ll use hertz next.

I just wish the payment part was very clear and to the point instead of being told so many different things. Other than that it was a great experience

Michelle BWell I managed just fine but had it been my friend picking up the truck well the spot it was in not ideal for anyone. When it's in a tight spot an employee need to offer or just go and pull the truck out for customer. Imm sure they would have if asked to do . But you asked. The closer easier ones to get out apparently were almost empty of fuel so I was grateful I didn't ha e to go get gas this time as I had to a time or two before. Everything else was great

Angela M | Online Move InThe entry door into the storage building has a 1-1/2" high metal piece in the doorway that can be very difficult to get over with carts. My trunks all had wheels on them but I would get stuck on that piece and have to lift the cart over it instead of rolling out smoothly. I've seen many dump their loads trying to get over it. Moving in and out was a bit trying and my back hurts from having to lift over that bump. You lose 2 stars just because of that.

Ernessa T | Online Move InAbsolutely awful experience. I was lied to on numerous occasions. I was sent the wrong drop off location. I was told I would be getting a month free of storage and that my drop off location would be the storage unit. The address I wad sent was to a rural king. Which added 40 minutes to my drive from the detour and when I got to the storage facility they said it was the first they're hearing about me having a unit. The only reason I was able to get one was some just so happen to move out that day and the unit needed cleaned. The storage unit is also a lot smaller than I was told. The GM Austin Hobbs was incredibly unhelpful since he did not answer his phone a single time I called him but was texting the working at the facility to deal with it and that I was blowing up his phone but would never answer. Overall horrible experience all around. I was expecting a larger company to be more organized and not constantly lied to their customers and give them the run around but I was sadly mistaken.

I’ve never had a unit with no visibility before, and would not recommend or use this facility again because of that.

The manager called me after I called customer service to extend my truck rental and they were supposed to extend til the next Monday night and didn't. So the manager calls me and gets rude with me and cussed me and then he hung up on me. The customer service line was no help as I was on the line for 2 hours and talked to 3 different people. I finally asked for whoever was in charge and I was told to call the president of that location and did so. The President was very nice and helpful. I just wish everyone there was as nice as he was. I won't be renting from that location ever again. I do not recommend that location. I also heard from someone later that they had the same problem with the same manager. Personally I don't think a 19 year old has any business being a store manager especially with his temper. He should be demoted or fired after treating multiple people this way. The disrespect was too much. I'm a customer and don't deserve that kind of treatment after I spent every penny I had on the truck and the storage unit. Over $300 and I got treated horribly other than the president. I advise to not go to this store period.

Called me in May to tell me that I was broken in. My professional craftsman tools you can no longer purchase were stolen and I had no insurance. They did not try to resolve the issue. Other property was destroyed as well.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had anywhere; my unit was not available as promised and so I had to get a larger more expensive unit to get truck unloaded. Staff was beyond rude, belligerent, and unaccommodating. My plan to prepay a year in advance has turned into looking for another facility who wants my business because I will not give another dime to this location. Even people moving out of the facility said to RUN, not walk from there! Unprofessional and unbelievable - contacted corporate.

The other staff members greeted me when I came in with smiles and kindness but this guy was straight faced and slow at his job.

Same with the uneven gap between loading ramp and where back of truck pulls up. Staff was nice and professional. Units and building were clean. Access codes at all areas worked well
