As a regular customer it frustrates me having to continually present my drivers license and take up to 30 minutes to process my visit. I have tried booking online and when I get to the depot I still have to go through the process anyway! You haven't asked a question about the employees. Information when I first inquired about trucks and rates was different than when I called the second time and booked. Whether this is because rates change daily or because one of them gave me wrong information, I don't know. When my boyfriend and I were finished with the truck, I called U-Haul because I didn't want to be changed for the blankets that I didn't receive. I spoke to an unfriendly and unhelpful man who said that it was our job to collect the blankets that were at the door of U-Haul and because I ordered them, I would have to pay for them even though we didn't receive them (blankets were not at the door). I stated that neither the person I spoke to on the phone nor the person at U-Haul said that WE needed to remember to p/u the blankets. We just figured that they would be in the back of the truck as ordered. Also, when I said that we would drop off the truck Sunday evening and that I would come by in the morning to drop off the keys and speak to someone about the blanket issue, the man on the phone said to leave the keys and go online and fill out some forms. I said that I didn't want that hassle and that I would go in early Monday morning. He said that this was unacceptable as they couldn't clean it without the keys. I said that with a two day rental, I was entitled to it until 9 a.m. Monday morning. He ignored this and said that if we parked in the parking lot we had to return the keys and fill out this online form. I repeated that I wasn't going to complete this transaction this way but in person in the morning. He said that we shouldn't park it in the parking lot then. ??? I said that I would park the truck in a nearby parking lot, which seemed ridiculous but he kept going on about my doing it his way. There was a lot of back and forth and it was frustrating. We did end up leaving the truck in the U-Haul parking lot and I went to U-Haul at 7 a.m. the next morning. The woman working there immediately said that I didn't have to pay for the blankets that I never received. This employee was okay but seemed to have some trouble completing the transaction. I paid in cash but won't be surprised if my boyfriend looks at his credit card statement and finds that he has been changed as well. She seemed to have trouble knowing what she was doing. If U-Haul really is interested in improving service, focus on the people who provide the service.SARAH M.

It would be nice that the manager would call the customer when requested. This request was made when the order was placed, three days before. The rep gave me the wrong directions on the location of the truck so I had to find it myself. No big deal but it is a large lot and naturally it was on the other end of the lot.Keith H.
Check in wait was 25 minutes which seemed too long. Booked online a furniture dolly and wasn't available as it was broken. Should have more than one on-site. Clerk was friendly. Returning vehicle was a breeze. Took all of 3 minutes. Awesome!David M.

Staff were very helpful! This site is currently under construction and the only access was via a garage door with a broken vehicle sensor. All pedestrian access is boarded over with plywood. Besides being a concern in an emergency or during a power outage, it was inconvenient to have to go into the office and request it be opened every visit.Adrianne M. | Overall Experience

I was asked three times if I wanted safe move, I said no three times, I look at my invoice and I've been charged for safe move, by the time I noticed it was to late, When I returned the truck I was told to go inside and complete check out, I waited 15 minutes before a member of staff came in to see me, nobody around... I'm utterly disappointed, a stressful day was made even more stressful, we had our time put back an hour as well, even though they called to see if that was okay, I had no choice but to say yes, we had to move our fathers belongings before a certain time, as he had passed away... I pre-register for your service online uploaded all of the documents and I selected a location based on vehicle availability. The day prior to me picking up the vehicle I was switched to a different location who called me and told me they didn't have a vehicle available for my time at that location which makes no sense. They finally figured out that they were going to have the vehicle at the new location and they change the time on me arbitrarily. Then after I filled in all of the documentation online to make life easier, I arrived at the location and when I try to login it told me I was at the wrong location yet I was sitting outside the door nothing worked which is totally ridiculous if you're going to use an automated systemBruce A K.

Better trained staff. I booked online, truck was not ready when I got there. When it finally was "ready" it was jammed between two other trucks so I could move it. Then a staff member moved a truck so I could move mine, and the battery was dead and it wouldn't start. So they offered me a new truck and a new text message for inspection, I waited 16 mins and the text never came. I go back in and she said "sorry just take phones we can't text you"; I never would have known of I didn't go back in. Truck was fine. Experience was terrible.David H.

I signed up on the web site and used my login to reserve the trailer. Tried to used to prepickup forms to make it easier and system would.not let me complete forms. Drivers license expiry date did not allow.me to input any date after 2020. So still had to go in to fill out paperwork.IAN JOSEPH P.
The equipment was not appropriate.. and so unusable. The 6x12 with ramp trailer is not Usable for transporting 6x12 objects because the ramp is too narrow. The auto carrier is too big. The 6x12 no ramp is not available because you have too few in stock.... very disappointingJohn R K.

My couch got ruined by something leaking from the roof of your building. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the renovations that are being done to the building. I was told someone would be contacting me about getting it cleaned. After no call back I've tried contacting you several times. After being on hold for awhile my calls get transferred to a call center in the U.S. somewhere, where nobody can do anything but send you a message on my behalf. I'm still awaiting a reply of some sort. Nobody has gotten back to me and it has now been 3 weeks. I was assured that someone would take care of it. Turns out that was a lie. I would never use your storage facility again. You advertise clean, dry units. The black stains all over my now ruined couch say otherwise. The only real issue I had with the facility were the limited hours of access. I realize it's a relatively new facility and perhaps a proper security system isn't yet in place, but large signs are posted on the premises advertising 24/7 access and I was very disappointed to discover that in fact the access hours for storage units were identical to the office hours, far too limited for my needs. I hope that issue is rectified soon, because there are other facilities nearby that have no restrictions on hours of access, and, for me at least, that's a strong argument for going with them.Alan S. | Overall Experience

Jen, the manager is fantastic, as were your other staff I dealt with, although their hands are tied because they can't say anything when people get upset about you ripping them off. They have to bear the brunt of it in silence. You put them in a very awkward position because of your greed. You have fantastic customer service, you just cheat on measurements. If you want good ratings, change the cheating The shame of it is you put them in an embarrassing position. Change your paperwork to reflect the ACTUAL USABLE FEET. 9x9 My feelings are you cheat people about the measurements - I supposedly have and pay for a 10x10 space, when in actual fact that is NOT ACCURATE. My actual USABLE space is 9x 9ish. You cannot store anything in the ripple of the corrugated metal, nor can you store anything from where the slide door comes down to the middle edge of the step. I was told the measurement is from the inside ripple to the outside of the step. Try being honest and charge people for ACTUAL STORAGE SPACE!!! If asked, I would definitely tell people how you cheat people. I moved over from Metro self storage, based on Jen's help and great customer service - she sold me. I actually measured and they cheat people as well??? What the h*ll is with you people. Just change your signage to reflect the TRUTH instead of ripping people off.Dorothey l. | First Impressions
