This location was the 3rd uhaul location assigned to fill my original reservation made several months earlier. After flying from the west coast to pick up my reserved vehicle I was told there were no vehicles available in Green Bay and I would have to pick it up in Manitowoc. I was given the choic of a much larger truck which was way beyond my need. Eventually one was located a day later than my pick up date at this Green bay location. If you really care you can hopefully find the documentation of the entire ordeal on your records. Created a huge amount of stress...what's the point of making a reservation if the location has no responsibility to honor it. If a vehicle was available in Manitowoc someone from the Green bay location should have had it brought to Green bay for the customer...not have the customer be expected to go get it. You have lost a customer and any ref.going forward. Truck also had a slow leak in one tire which we had to stop an fill multiple times along the way. This low pressure tire was noticed at the time of rental and was filled initially before departure. My comments are not related to the eventual pick up location but rather the location where my reservation was made but not able to be honored.Dennis J.

I recommend the Main St. location hands-down best service. I've been renting from the one by east town mall for a month and rented from Main St. this past weekend the 2 gentlemen that helped me gave me more useful info that one day than the past 4X at the other location. You could tell the location was understaffed which is apparent everywhere in the US. There was an issue with the readout from the truck but the General Manager corrected the issue and handled it wonderfully. Would highly recommend this location.Alex H.

The representative said that he was waiting for a call from corporate and could therefore not leave his work station. He said I could either wait some undefined period of time for him to receive and complete the call or untether thr trailer myself. I had an appointment, so I just did the work myself. It wasn't a huge deal, but disappointing... The equipment worked fine.Kathleen P.

I would have given this review a 5 star, but I took away a star, not because of the location, but because of the central scheduling system. I booked a trailer to be picked up in Peshtigo, WI. It wasn't available so Uhaul called and found a location in GB, WI. No big deal, I understand availability. The problem was, when I arrived at the GB facility, it wasn't in their system that I was to rent from them. They showed it at a different GB location. I even showed them my email confirmation. The front desk was very helpful and apologetic, but again, it wasn't her fault. On my way back to my house with the trailer, the Peshtigo location calls me and asks when I would be in to pick up the trailer. I told them the long story and that I didn't know I was to pick it up from them anymore. Found out that Uhaul was trying to help out and give me an alternative trailer from Peshtigo's facility, but failed to inform me of this change.Joshua E.

100% of our U-haul rentals have not had the truck we requested in the location we requested. We either get charged more for a larger truck or sent to another inconvenient location (both occurred on this rental). More money spent on rental and gas, more wasted time running across town. Not very convenient. Likely using a different rental company in the future for a better, less expensive, less stressful experience.Gerald M.
My unit had a significant leak. Around $1,000 in items were destroyed from water damage. Since I did not get the insurance I was told there was nothing that could be done. I already was paying $40 more per month for the same size unit as the uhaul 15 minutes away. There is no light in the unit and just a small doorway instead of a garage door type door. So it's already a lot worse quality for 50% more cost. Then to have my 'climate controlled unit' not even control rain is ridiculous. I will be contacting the BBB as well as leaving reviews wherever I can to make sure people know to stay far away from this location. It is absolutely unacceptable, especially when they're already price gouging.Morgan N. | Overall Experience

On face-to-face interactions, manager Phillip went above and beyond expectations up to and including night of move out on 7/16. However, I was not officially changed to moved out status until 8/5, despite repeated emails and attempted phone calls. On my attempts to call the facility, I kept getting connected with corporate. I only had one conversation on July 30 with corporate during that 3-week period as I was did not have the time to wait on hold for the estimated time. There was a sweet young lady who was supposed to be done for the day, but she voluntarily came out to help us and let us know where to park the trailer! She went above and beyond, and we definitely appreciated the help! We didn't get her name (sadly) but hopefully you can let her know somehow that she's a great asset to your company! Get the phone system to work properly. Calling the local store took me 45 minutes, kept getting forwarded to the national system. Wait times were horrendous. Next time if I don't get connected to the local store, I will take my business elsewhere.Scott C.
No trailer for me despite having reservation. No mention of $50 guarantee. Reservation for trailer from Green Bay to Milwaukee and bring back to Green Bay. Was told needed to go to a different location despite there being 17 exact same trailers there. These were only for â€œone way rentalâ€ and couldn't be used for me since I was an â€œin townâ€. I thought bringing it back would be more helpful to uhau but I was willing to do whatever I needed to do. I offered to return the trailer to a Milwaukee uhaul center if that got me a trailer. I was told that instead of the $30 rental for in town, it would actually be more expensive to go out of my way and bring it to a Milwaukee uhaul center. Sales associate said $80+ for one way. The uhaul lot was packed full of the trailer I had on reservation but apparently the one I was supposed to get wasn't returned. Terrible policy! I finally was able to get a trailer at a different uhaul, but was an hour and half late to my destination.Mark B.
The wiring was done wrong. I called several times to try to get it fixed. This location is very hard to reach. They typically don't answer the phone so it rolls over to the national reservation system most of time. The email and txt messages they send are â€œno replyâ€. When I did get through to to the shop the person who answered told me to call back later. He hung up on me while I was trying to find another solution.Martin M.

Clean and inspect your rental. Use integrity and teach employees soft skills and empathy. The uhal I rented was unclean, Garbage left inside, dolly used, bag used. I have pictures. I did not notice until after I left. My wife called and the manager said we could either come back and get another truck or not worry about cleaning out the truck, we will not charge you. There is more, but I shorten this message. I was charged twice. One for the initial rental, $311.05 and I have a pending charge of 70.61 that is pending from uhal. A uhal employee that cleaned the truck said she was not informed by management and charged my account. The assistant manager was very disrespectful when I went in person and denied charging my account. I will never rent from this uhal place as they lack ethics and integrity. The assistant manager said, "I'm not in charge of billing, so I have nothing to do with how your card was billed." Is this ethical?Tyler W.
