This location rented me a freshly cleaned vehicle, which was ready the second I walked in. Pick up and drop off was easy, the staff were friendly, and my bill was exactly as the estimate had shown. I wound up having them top off the tank for me, as the closest gas station was not open. I was very happy with my experience here!Kathleen N.

I would have scored and excellent, but my first reservation did not go well. Person that took it said I was all set for 9am the previous week and there were no trucks. When I went to confirm with the scheduler she fixed for the following week. I was lucky I had an additional week to work with.CHRISTOPHERN R.

The trailer had bad bearings and the brakes didn't work til the last minute, causing the trailer to "slam" the truckANDREWD C.
While the team at this location did the best they could to help me, I cannot recommend Uhaul as a whole. I was called the day before my reserved day to.be told they had no truck. Then when I called 20 minutes before my newly scheduled time, I was told by someone from the call center that the truck was available, only to show up and wait for almost an hour because the truck had not been returned. I will definitely be looking at other companies the next time I need to rent a truckEdward B.

I had ordered and paid for my hitch 1 month in advance. Upon arrival to the facility with my vehicle, I was told the part was not delivered. The representative I dealt with located another hitch from the area, but that took 4 hrs longer than what should have been done in the 1st place. I had to travel to this location 4 times that day on the other side of the city from where I live to get this installed. The representative told me that the U-Haul closest to me does install hitches (Irondequoit location), but your website did not allow me to choose that location. Your company is a mess. #1 Get the website information current. #2 If parts are not delivered on-time have the courtesy to send an email, or make arrangements in advance to get the parts from other locations so your customers are not put out. #3 Poor planning and communication on your part places the customer-facing employees in bad situations and causes them undue stress that can be alleviated by better planning and communication on your part. I really should get a partial refund for losing work time and for the aggravation this caused when all of it should have been avoided.Steve D.

Very disappointed with uhaul. We had to take a truck when we were guaranteed a van. Also we were guaranteed a storage space in West Seneca NY. When we got there they said we were on a waiting list. I will never use uhaul again and I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to use uhaul.LEOJ III S.

This location was great but it is 35 minutes from my home. The location that I wanted to rent from is 8 minutes away but didn't have the equipment I needed. It's disappointing that some arrangements couldn't be made to get the equipment to that location, especially when I booked it more than 3 weeks in advance.Randall S.

The issue i have was not the personnel at long pond. I had a schedule pickup at east ridge road. Only when I got there did I learn â€œoh we had to move it to Long Pondâ€? I then had to travel to another location to pick this trailer up. I did receive a confirmation email the day beforeâ€¦perhaps the move was in there but it was the 3rd email since I made my reservation so I had no idea I was moved. there were no phone calls no special â€˜warning' emails. While calling the location the phone just rings, then a customer service representative from a call center can't provide, change or update your info they can only take payment..they do not have an email address on file and we are told because Uhaul has 3 different computer systems..customer service via telephone is a tragedy..staff at the location did not enter correct info, initially , but very helpful otherwiseLucretia S. | First Impressions
