I've lived in Grapevine for almost 30 years, and I still get lost navigating in that area. The service roads for 360 & 121 are so confusing. That's my absolute only complaint about the location. And I realize there's nothing you can do about it, though!

Original truck was not at Grapevine. We were sent to North Richland Hills. Only to find out our rental of appliance dolly and furniture pads did not carry over because the NR location did not have any.... so we had to go back to Grapevine to get the dolly but they didn't have furniture pads... so we had to go to Lewisville. We booked this reservation 2 weeks in advance and got the notification of all these issues 2 hrs before pickup time. The only bright side to all this after the whole debacle added 3 extra hours to our moving time, is the Aubrey, TX Uhaul location. I'm not sure who I spoke with, but they were the only ones who were actually apologetic and took care of us.

The after hours, drop off was a little difficult there were 4 trucks parked right in front of where you are supposed to back in the trailers. But other than that it was a good experience everyone was very helpful.

Clean and service vehicles second vehicle I've rented from there that had problems. Got on the freeway after picking up started hearing clinking from behind the seat. Come to find once I arrived a Bunch of empty corona bottles. Also the vent was blowing dead bugs and leaves from outside. So there prolly was no cabin air filter or possibly both.

Picking up the containers- they did not have trailers and my movers had to go back the next day. Delayed my moving out by a day. Payed fees. Then they lost both containers. Someone marked them empty. When they finally found them we went to pick up. Again no trailers even tho they were expecting us. Very unorganized location.

I should have read it myself before I signed but I wish somebody would have explained how much mileage costs and stuff. I was told on the phone that the whole thing was 19.99 plus a few dollars for mileage. Then I get there and it's actually 64 dollars. Then I get a receipt online that says it's actually 160. I saw the breakdown and I get the mileage charges now but I honestly would have found another way to move my stuff if I knew it was going to cost that much. The visor retaining clip on the drivers side was broken and the visor fell in the way constantly. I would not recommend anyone rent uhaul trucks.

As you're likely aware by now a 26 ft truck was dispatched without being serviced or safety checked for a cross country move. The mistake not only potentially cost a life but loss of the contents of our home and a 200,000 car. The floor had been drilled for mounting points and soaked boxes and furniture. I have yet to receive a call to deal with this matter.

We all had a hard time figuring out where to drop our keys and we hope we did it right! Online it said look for an orange drop box but we never found that. All we found was the numbered boxes with locks on them. We didn't hear of any issue so hopefully the keys were found! The drive was full so we weren't sure where to park.

They took the rental units back kindly but accepted no reason vilify for the A/C broken or the check engine light being on. Said I had to take it up with the original pick up location. They said that they could provide a refund in part or whole because Uhaul had to do that or the originator of the rental. I would expect at a minimum a partial refund and an apology from Uhaul for their lack of communication and customer service and because the rental was not in working condition. Several time I had to pull over to cool off because the truck was so hot I felt like I was having a heat stroke. You have my number. You can reach out anytime.

I would recommend this place to people but not recommend the one close to 8th st nor their after hours pick up. Had a VERY VERY bad experience. Could not unlock 2 locks that the operator was telling to, passwords,moon, Mary, Poly, did not work on none of them and the mosquitos were eating us alive. Would not do it again. So disappointed, annoyed and frustrated!!!

It's August in Texas and the air conditioner only worked sporadically. It was a 5 hour trip from Dallas to Galveston. It was like a sauna at times and we had to roll down the windows. We were exhausted and then had to unload the truck. Not happy about that.

I moved out on 6-7-22. The UHaul employee working the units inspected the unit and called it in to the desk as good. Went to office they were busy. They took my information and said they would finish up and close account. Kept getting bills. Chatted with UHaul online. Said Grapevine would take care of it. Still getting bills.

UHAUL Storage unit building is poorly maintained (after-hours swipe in/out security access rarely works, single elevator for entire building periodically inop). Facility is overcrowded with rental trucks that are stacked at storage access loading dock and block access for customers trying to load/unload. Management allows truck rental customers to park their personal vehicles in the lot during the duration of their multi-day truck rental leaving no place to park or maneuver when trying to access storage unit. All these comments are based on multiple complaints to managers over several months without resolutions-I ultimately just moved out.

The manager, I can't remember her name but it started with a M, was very friendly, efficient and understanding. Her staff on the other hand were not. One time even after I set up payment arrangements with the manager I was called and threatened with auction. The guy was a complete jerk and rude! Plus when I was able to come back into town to get my items a lot of my stuff was missing. I didn't realize it was missing until I started unpacking my boxes. They didn't go through individual boxes, they just took 4 of my large boxes with a lot of my decorations and personal effects. Not worth much to anyone but me and my family. I wouldn't recommend this storage facility to anyone unless they want to lose their things. There isn't anyone you can file a complaint with because it is your word against theirs.

Trying to close out this unit was the most awful experience. It took from June 13 to July 5 to get it resolved… I had to call multiple times and each time I never spoke to the specific location; I was forwarded to the customer service center. I was told multiple times the manager would call me from this specific location and she never did. I had to call many times over those 3 weeks so get it closed. I even did the online close out and it says someone will contact you in 48 hours. No one ever did. I then received an email that said our payment was late and there was a fee added on. I called again and the customer service center could not get in contact with the manager… so I was given her email. I voiced my frustration and all I got was a close out receipt of our unit. No apology at all. I am so upset. Customer service is so important and is lacking immensely. We also had a situation of picking up a truck to get our stuff from the storage unit. The truck was supposed to be picked up at five in the morning. My husband went to go pick it up and there were no keys. We were not told that the previous customer did not return the keys in so my husband had to wait eight hours to speak to someone at that location because it was a Sunday, and figure out a Plan B. And we only received a $50 compensation for that… I understand that it's not their fault but we should have been notified ahead of time so that my husband didn't have to waste eight hours.

This was my 5th time using this storage location, and it is very suitable with a fair price. However, lately there have been an increased number of dead insects inside my storage unit. They should probably spray the perimeter better so they don't make it inside my storage unit. The entrance has a "donation" area which turned into a junk storage area, and no one dumps the trashed items. Management routinely parks un-rented U-haul trucks in front of the customer loading dock which blocks access to pick up/drop off heavy items.

I would and wouldn't recommend this location. It was too overpriced. I moved to a storage unit that was less expensive. Plus I was on the 4th floor here and it was way inconvenient for me.

I’ve had a couple issues with the card I have on file with them miraculously disappearing and therefore not auto drafting thus trying to assess a late charge to my account.

Very hard to access my storage to unload a trailer. Overflow of trucks only gave me a small opening to unload ... including a large step up to manage. Also, be consistent across U-HAUL regarding masks. In NORMAN OK, no mention of "wear your mask". In GRAPEVINE, TX, the employees were overbearing and unfriendly regarding the requirement to wear a mask. At the same time employees were telling us to wear a mask, other customers were not wearing masks plus on of the counter employees was wearing her mask under her nose - the entire time we were there.

I called and canceled a month ago. You charged me an extra $200 bucks because I didn't come in and stand in you long line or deal with your impossible website. Can I least get a store credit? $200 seems very unfair.
