I went at 8 am to rent a truck for a few hours we were advised there were no trucks available and to rent a pick up or van my devit card was not a valid form of payment, we went scouring the area for a rental just to go on the website an hour later to see there was a short term rental available. Once I reserved the rental we returned to the location just to be ridiculed about not having the rental back in time. I asvised the representative had he inquired what length of time the rental was needed for we could have had the move done by 10 am instead we had to rush to get it back by 11 which I have to say I needed to prove that our needs only required a couple of hours and had he questioned us regarding our needs we would not have had to stress and waste not only time, gas and our self respect we could have completed our mission with enough time to not be overwhelmed. It would do good to advise your employees to ask questions regarding your customer needs and not belittle them when they are stuck for time when the proper questions would have prevented such a waste ok f time. I will not be going back to this location nor will I ever refer anyone there. It was so petty that I had to feel vindicated by showing that I returned the truck in time. Horrible customer service and my reciew will be left on Google as I am a trusted reviewer and in yelp. Remind staff that word of mouth is mightier than an out of sorts attitude.

The female who worked my return was rude. I don’t know if she was having a bad day or what but the customer don’t deserve a bad attitude especially when we are paying for a service.

The van I was provided was not the van on my contract which meant I could not use the mobile check in since the odometer did not match the miles. This caused me frustration and I had to call customer service to ensure my check in and issue was documented. This was not convenient and diminished my trust with the check in process.

We dropped the truck off one day late, at the same time as others were dropping off. No one one took our paperwork or checked us out. And apparently, they did not for several days, because I was charged not only for the extra day, but a second charge for five more days was charged to my account.

On the wall it shows the price for a pickup truck as 19.95 a day and tow dolly as 44.95 day. I was charged 49.95 for the 8 ft pickup. I was told the truck has a half tank a fuel in it, it had less. Between 1/4 tank and 3/8 yet I was responsible for bringing it back with a 1/2 tank. I elected to get insurance on both which was 8 dollars and 10 dollars. I didnt expect charges to surpass 100. I used it for 3 hours, drove 80 miles max and was charged 150 dollars. I told them about the fuel and they really didnt seem to care. When I came to turn it in to get the final charges I was told they will email it to me. She didnt want to settle while I was there which I thought was odd. So the math doesnt add up. And I was overcharged by a lot. I'm probably going to put this on social media if not addressed. I want a refund for the overcharges.

I brought a company vehicle to have a hitch installed and realized I did not have the tool to drop the spare tire for the installation. The guy at U-haul attempted to install it and was successful. He could have turned me away because I did not have the tool, but he went out of his way to make it happen.

Female at the counter was very rude and unprofessional. Kept interrupting the guy at the counter while he was doing our rental, speaking to him in 3rd person instead of speaking to me directly. This is not the first time we encounter this with this woman

Everything was great except there were holes in the roof of cargo area and it was raining during the move so even though we had a covered car port to pull under the truck itself was leaking all the way to the cabin and a lot of my stuff got wet on the inside. The mattress was prob the grossest and most expensive but other than that just some books etc. I did take photos and video of it actively leaking inside after stuff was removed. We also alerted the drop off location and they said it was noted. Other than that awesome

The windshield and leading edges; mirrors bumper etc were caked in dead bugs. The truck swayed badly after 50 mph, tire psi was normal. Other than that, great truck and it did what it was meant for.

Upon arrival, employees had no idea you could pick up a truck with the U-haul app, tells me to go wait inside in a 4 person line. 15 minutes later, I get to the front where he tells me I have to check in using the app and essentially tells me its "outside". Employees need to be trained if you want to use different methods of pickup. System designed to save time instead wastes time.

As has been the case for many years. Put better maintained vehicles on the road. 1-800 service dropped the ball on this customer this time. However every site that touched us went above and beyond to make this a great move. Way to go all.

Walked in-older gentleman did not even acknowledge us. We waited for over 10 min until an African American woman walked in- she said she was just clocking in. The older man asked her twice to help us. She went outside and brought a Hispanic woman in. A 10 min transaction turned to over 30 min. The Hispanic woman was nice-but it was taking long due to the system shutting down. Check in was fine- Younger guy who knew what professionalism meant. I was extremely disappointed. How could you not even say "Good Morning" or stop what your doing to gelp us. Will not be returning to this location. Also, the truck was crappy- power steering was rough.

My belongings were loaded into a box with a broken latch. I was told this would be fixed and my box would be locked using the padlock I provided. I made numerous calls to check in on this and no one was able to confirm my box was locked. My box shipped unlocked and I never received my padlock back. Reaching someone at the actual U-Haul location was nearly impossible. While everyone I spoke to was polite, literally no one was able to help me. I was promised call-backs 2 or 3 times and never received a call -back.

They need more associates to work at least over the weekend, only Oscar seems to know who to resolve any issues, as they were busy they didn’t review the miles or the gas tank when I return the unit, it took them more than 15 minutes to do the return on there computer, I return the unit with 1/2 of tank instead of 1/3 of. They need to be more careful. I will think twice of renting from them again.

For the most part everything worked out as planned with moving 2 u boxes across the country. One minor glitch along the way however it was handled quickly and the GM Richard was a great help.

Alex and Omar are such great guys to work with at this location! Everything went smoothly. The only thing i didnt like was how long it took for the gentleman to acknowledge that we dropped the equipment off. No biggie though. He was the only one in the store at the time and he was helping customers that came before us.

Giovanie was extremely helpful in solving my problem with wiring harness. He certainly was excellent in terms of knowledge and care, but in general the location should treat those with reservation and those without differently differently, when it comes to attending to. There was one long line for walk-ins and reservation holders.

Make shure the equipment is properly inspected after and prior each customer's use. Drove from Florida to Delaware at night without any clearance or service lights. Brakes and turn signal was fine and checked during daylight at the pickup site. Have to remember newer vehicles has automatic DRL. I WAS LUCKY OTHER VEHICLES DIDN'T COLIDE WITH THE TRAILER OR PULLED OVER BY POLICE! REMEMBER SAFETY!!!

The application needs improvement. We were charged an extra 61.22 for 143 additional miles when our trip was only 82. The mileage was incorrect in the app when we picked up the truck and the photo we sent in the application never updated the mileage. We are currently waiting to be contacted by a district manager regarding the issue.

Everything was fine except that we were told there were no trucks available so we used a cargo van. We see the price as $19.99 but we were never told it’s $19.99 plus mileage use. My final bill was almost $90 bucks for a few hours but because the van was not too big we had to go back and forth which cause it to bring the price up that much. Felt like a rip off.

It took us 20 minutes to check out the van even though I had a reservation. The return time was not adjusted to reflect this; I still had to have it back at 2:30 even though I wasn’t able to leave until 11:50. Ultimately, this didn’t matter as we had it back in plenty of time but it’s something I’ll take into consideration before using this service in the future.

Rep was kind and very knowledgeable on equipment I was renting. He also was very cautious in hooking up trailer to my trunk and double checking safety. These guys are all about customer service and safety. I will be returning for my future rentals and giving my recommendations.

I use to rent trailers in this location but last 3 trailers had flat tires. I think you need to check tires before rent any equipment. Is not about put air, yoy need to fix the tires or change them.

Have rented from this location several times without incident. However, the latest rental was a little unsatisfactory. After the trailer was hooked up, the right turn signal did not work. The installer tried to tell me that I had a fuse blown on my truck and it was the problem. After trying to convince him that was not possible, I had him get somebody else to help me. He came out, unhooked the trailer and upgraded me to a larger trailer (which was nice, but I really did not want/need a larger trailer). The turn signals worked fine. Upon arriving home and opening the trailer, I noticed that the back door was filthy along with the interior. It should have been cleaned before putting it inline for rental I hope they do a better job next time!

Very bad customer service of who delivers and receives the unit at the time of the return, at all times his attitude is rude and arrogant, in addition to try to charge for fuel again as it had been charged 10 Dollars before returning for 10 mi Recorrids. Totally inoperable, he left me waiting for a simple whim. Highly unpleasant your unit reception operator! I Hope you take action with this person.

The worker was friendly. I pulled up where the place indicated to return and started to disconnect the trailer then was told I needed to drive around and unload it because the worker couldn't move the trailer by herself. And like the pickup facility, this drop-off facility does not have any parking for customers.

Good customer service. The truck was not as clean as expected. The truck smelled of cigarette smoke being pregnant it was intolerable. Also there was open wrappers of half eaten food in between the seat. Thankfully the rental was for a local move and not long distance.

Esmat greeted me by telling me I could not park on the parking lot and that I had to go down the street to the gas station park there & walk back to pick up my u-haul I had reserved. I was not treated as a valued customer until I returned my U-Haul and there was a different person there then. I was given the wrong truck & didn't realize it until my return. I was treated terribly at this location and will never rent here ever again!!

There was 1 lady working the counter with 5 people trying to rent a uhaul and people bringing them back.. the poor lady was trying to go hurry. She was very polite and friendly. She went in the back and asked for help and a gentlemen wearing a green uhaul shirt come out to the counter to help and waited on me who was next in line. He was very rude and had a bad attitude. when I was asking questions about the mileage like how.many did I get with the 2 day rental he said I don't know u tell me how many do u need? I asked him about the 100 miles per day that was included in the price of rental and he snapped at me and said just tell me how many miles u want. So I proceeded to tell him how many miles 300 and he had a stank face and rude. Definitely not friendly service. The truck we were given was dirty and had a low front tire on driver's side. The tailgate was tied up and sometimes we would get the smell of burning oil. And oil pressure dropped not even 24 hours into a 2 day rwntal. So we decided to bring the pickup truck back a day early.

The car dolly rented had low tire pressure and the wheel strap brackets were difficult to navigate. I understood how they worked, but had to fight with them during tie down and release.

It would be great if the customer service agents walked out and inspected trucks with customers. I personally found it to be VERY bad service having to do everything myself. The first van had warnings on the dash. I had to go back inside. The agent came out but didn't know what they meant. He began to fill the back tire with air. I walked around and saw 2 nails in the tire.We would've been stuck on the roadside with a flat tire had I not personally walked around the truck and saw the nails in the tire. Had I not asked we would have been broke down on the road because your agents aren't inspecting the vehicles. The second van was perfect. Like new but again I think your staff should inspect vehicles with customers. Not make the customers evaluate the trucks alone. That's bad customer service. Your agent was a nice guy but not knowing what the dash light warning lights mean is unacceptable.

I walk in and the manager who had an owner name tag just stares at me. I say hello and he barely has and reaction other than trying to process the transaction. Customers should not be the first to say “hello” in such settings. Why is the owner/manager not smiling and greeting his own customers? I manage 200 employees and I go out of my way to smile at them and show respect. I train them to spoil our customers with smiles and greetings. With business becoming so competitive these days, the only core difference is customer service. My customer service experience at this location was poor. Even returning the truck I waited 4 minutes at an empty counter while the staff talking and laughing and eating in a back room that I had to physically go to and give the keys back. Your front desk should always be staffed. By having no one there you’re telling your customers you don’t care about their business. The person who took the keys was still chewing food while trying to talk to me. That’s nasty and ghetto.

Really? U-haul was the biggest disappoint of any business I've done business with in more than 20 years. I will NEVER have anything to do with U-haul ever again. You're promise/guarantees mean NOTHING. You costs me hundreds of dollars let alone time and trouble. I will steer folks away from U-haul due to my experince today and advise them to look at Penske-Budget-or the local mom and pop rental first. What a disappointment.

Communication! Dispatch kept calling to see if it was okay to ship the container. The link in the email didn't work and I had to hold for a long time when I tried to return the call. I stopped by the store and did let them know it was good to go and was told they would add the notes and it would get picked up that day. Then dispatch kept calling for another day or 2.

I was the only customer there when I arrived...it took nearly 25 minutes to set up my contract...then another 25 minutes to attach a trailer to my hitch. The first trailer was not operable and the second trailer was attached to my vehicle while it apparently positioned on another trailer hitch...I ended up dragging the trailer which could have caused damage to my car.
