Love the previous owner and staff. Always friendly and helpful. Problem came when I went to move out. Gave a 30 day notice and it was never recorded in my account like I asked so new ownership was not aware. Not my problem!!

Very clean and secure facility in a great location
Everything went very well, the only problem I had was that there was no way to get items up on the truck, the truck didn't have the regular slide that you can walk up on.
I absolutely love the staff at the location Williams field Road and Gilbert Road!
We used this storage location for two years. Our personal belongings were kept perfectly and never had any issues with security or any of the staff. They were always so helpful and the biggest compliment I can give is the cookies in the lobby are amazing 🤩

I have been a u-haul storage customer for about 4 years now.This place is the coolest place to put your stuff.Office people are very understanding about your needs and wants. They are very nice too even the owner he is very funny.

Todd was awesome at check in. He was friendly, efficient and helpful.
The seats had animal hair all over them. I was told the gas tank was full, it was showing just below full on the gauge but when I filled it up the needle went above full. I only put 20 miles on the van and definitely put more gas in the van than what I used. I mentioned this to the employee when I returned the van and they said "thanks" for putting more gas than I used.
Make sure that people can check in their rental and stop charging them double because they can't! I got ripped off for a $20 “convenience fee†be star I couldn't use their website to return the truck. Plus the fact they lied about the amount if gas in the truck.
Everything went off without a hitch.
Overall, good experience but did note a few building issues that needed addressed, Motion sensor inside the building where my unit did not seem to sense movement until almost to the elevator and shut off very quickly and door to get in that building was faults at times.
After hours check-in was kind of complicated it was not user-friendly but you guys took care of me and I appreciate it thank you
A garbage can near the entrance would have been nice but other then that it was great!
We were threatened by the on-site manager who ran out into the parking lot claiming we were looking into his window when all we were doing was returning to our car after we secured a unit from the employee inside. I guess he doesn’t even work there according to the employee. Guy who threatened us seemed paranoid or on drugs as we definitely were not looking in his windows , we had no clue it was even a residence! I almost cancelled even keeping the unit because of his physical appearance and threats. Not someone I would have represent your company but then again he doesn’t even work there at that facility. What a liability and hopefully all this is considered if the choice to keep such a person as an employee.

The staff and facilities at UHaul Storage on S Gilbert Rd were great! I spoke with Todd over the phone, and also, he was my in-person assistant. He was super helpful and professional. I could not have had a better experience with Todd and the staff. I felt informed and equipped with all the tools and information to maintain my climate controlled storage unit, and the facility was very clean and accessible

THE BEST OF CLASS. I HAVE BEEN TO 3 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS IN THE LAST MONTH, AND NONE OF THEM ARE AS GOOD AS YOUR LOCATION. NONE. UHAUL SHOULD HIRE MORE PEOPLE WITH GOOD PEOPLE SKILLS.

The staff was great. The facility was great. Would not recommend Uhaul because my online account showed $0 due a day or two before the payment date. I thought this was my free 1 month. Then they sent me a letter saying my payment was late and charged me for a late fee. Also they will let you reserve a truck online and charge you for it, even if the truck is not available. As soon as you pay online they will call and switch you to another truck and location. Very shady.

Super friendly and helpful staff. The staff were always there to help if needed with any billing or general questions.
In preparing to travel 1,500 miles to get most of my possessions out of storage, I was told on the phone any excess stuff could be placed in their dumpster for a $40. When i was ready to take advantage of that service, the manager said i could not put stuff in their dumpster nor was he interested in trying to help me solve my problem as I needed to start driving across the country. Very poor customer service by the manager. I emailed the owner, Shawn, and he resolved my problem. The drive home was ruined as I was six hours behind schedule. Owner was great. Manager was not helpful at all. I was told the dumpster was an option. Every decision I made was based on that. The manager told me it wasn't an option and he didnt care that I was told it was. He said, "I'm sorry, I can't do anything for you." My stuff was stored there for 21 months at $130 a month. I deserved better from him.

The link I was sent to check out showed the information was unshareable. Had to go through the main app and muddle my way through to bring up the reservation. However the online app to checkout and return the truck was not operating correctly. Spent over an hour and half between trying to figure out how to return the truck and being on hold with customer service for 45 minutes only for her to want to transfer me to someone else. Extremely frustrating! Unable to check the truck in, so ended up having to bring the vehicle home with me which cost me more $ even with the "convenience fee" of $20 being waived. Not the location's fault however frustrating none the less as when you're moving, you don't have the extra time nor the patience.

Facilities felt safe and kept my belongings safe for over a year. The staff were very friendly.
We had a trailer hitch installed at the Uhaul on McClintock and 202 in Tempe. When we went to pickup the trailer something was wrong with the wiring. We were sent to the location on Gilbert and Houston in Gilbert to fix it. It made it to Colorado ok but when we went to drop off the trailer in grand junction the lights weren't working again. We need to get this looked at and fixed in grand junction sometime and want to be sure we are not charged anything. The gentleman at the Gilbert and Houston location said a mistake had been made by the installer. He said it was fixed but seeing the connection was lost after we arrived I see it's not. Please can someone call me about this? Thank you

The staff was great but the AC dying in the truck in Arizona during the summer is hell. Literally. Also, the steering is soooo bad. I've driven many uhaul trucks over the years and this one was so bad i though I was going to lose control of the truck more than a few times. Very scary!
All my belongings were safe in a climate controlled setting ! That was a plus!!rates were reasonable, access , security all A plus! Thank you for everything!
The people at this location who assisted me were wonderful. They were friendly and professional. They explained everything very carefully. The truck was in excellent shape, and the after-hours return instructions were easy to follow. I will definitely rent from this location again.

Rented two trucks on two different days. Both were low mileage and clean. The only thing that would make it better would be if the mirrors had been cleaner.

I felt with the assistant manager and he was Awesome! What was a super stressful day he made it so easy and gave me options that fit my needs. I drove 3 hrs to help my son on an emergency situation and I was afraid something would go wrong with the rental process and delay us. However this location is amazing. will definitely refer to this location.
The mobile pick up was very buggy and would not give me the lock code. I had to wait in the parking lot for an hour to finally get a hold of customer service to be told what the code was to get in to the truck and out in Arizona that means the temperature is hotter which isn't fun to move in
People, equipment, location good. Office/lobby too small for more than 2 customers at a time.

I inadvertently put 2 locks on my storage unit. I received a call from an employee at this facility telling me I needed to remove one of the locks. I asked why and he explained the 2nd lock position was for them to use to lock me out if I did not pay my bill. I said I would remove it as soon as I could. He called back the next day telling me I needed to remove the lock. I told them was no urgency as the bill was not due for weeks and hung up. He called me again the next day and told me if I did not remove the lock by Monday he was going to cut the 2nd lock off and charge me $30 for the lock removal. This was weeks before the end of the month. It was his behavior that led to my decision to move my storage to another facility.

I originally reserved at another location in Chandler Arizona, on Germann rd , not good location , had nothing but trouble never got my truck I had on reserve there, customer care was not helpful, I called four times till I was forced to go to she other location where I got better service.
Staff in Gilbert went above and beyond. They helped me by lending me a padlock as I was tight on funds and just drove all night. I can't say enough good things about them. Thank you.

I would recommend the WF/Gilbert Location to anyone needing storage space. Grate gate access hours .with the ability To be 24 hrs access.if customer asked.

My reservation was for the 1st of march and I was delayed till the 3rd of march. When I arrived, my reservation had been canceled. No notification or phone call to ask if I was still coming. Nothing!!! Fortunately, they were able to find me another unit. I was also not told that my truck and transport could not be dropped off at that location. Poor communications. Need better customer service.

I rented the unit on Aug. 18, 2018. I removed my furniture on Nov.25, 2018. I was told I will receive a retro refund. This is unethical U-Haul is keeping just about 3 weeks of pay from me.

it very well fit the purpose at the time but I do think , and will tell any the same , that the rate increases were excessive especially for renters already renting.
