Shortly after pulling away i realized that the mileage on contract was exactly 30 miles less than what was on truck (78225 on contract and 78255 on truck). I called and explained that i am honest person and would not try to cheat them out of what was due but this was situation. They understood and trusted me. I brought back clean and full of fuel and thanked them for being good business people. Highly recommended. Nice folk.James D.

WAY OVERPRICED!!!!!!!!!! I have used U-Haul probably 10+ times in the last 15 years to move or move stuff. Twice in the last two months. Typically you guys have been reasonably priced. However lately it's been astronomical. Roughly $50 to borrow a Chevy truck for a couple hours? That used to be what I paid for 17 foot truck for the whole day. Yea, I wont ever do that again from you guys. Unfortunately for the first time I will be shopping around next time I move or need to rent a truck, which as you can see, is more often than the average person.William M.

The first truck we were given had no working seat belt, so we had to return it for a different one. We stood out in the cold forever, (17* weather) just to get our truck as no one knew where it was parked. There was only one person helping customers when I returned the truck so I waited several minutes to get waited on . There was no heat on inside this location so it was extremely cold and uncomfortable. Won't return to this location as I wanted to drop the truck off in Nampa and it was originally set up for that but they changed their mind so I had to return the truck to this location. Had lots of issues with the U-Haul Storage fob didn't work first off had to get it replaced couldn't get into my storage because fob didn't work wasn't offered a code for the keypad got locked inside the storage units because fob didn't work gate wouldn't open no after hours number to call to get out had to wait for another customer to let me out because they shut my fob off and my passcode 10 days before my last day at the unitSierra D. | Overall Experience

This comment is directed to the 800 support number: Your wait times to speak to an agent are UNACCEPTABLE Last time (September 26th) I rented a trailer I waited on hold for 60 minutes before an agent answered my call - and once the agent answered the call and got a roadside assistance ticket created it took another 3 hours to get the tire repaired - and I was only 7 miles from the capital of Idaho (Boise) Last night I had problems checking in online as I returned the vehicle after closing - and gave up after 10 minutes of being on hold as I expected another hour of waiting in 20 degree weather This needs to be addressed! No one could point out key features of the vehicle. For example it had a manual/automatic transmission which no one explained. There was also a haul mode which was not explained for proper use of the vehicle.James K.

Not impressed with the trucks or the processes here. The truck had an oil leak and the front end had a lot of slack in it. They don't require or keep the trucks full of fuel which is pure laziness with the management at this location. It is also a ripoff because it gives them this grey area to overcharge you for fuel. When I picked up the truck, it had a 1/3 of a tank. I drove the van 25 miles and the website says the truck gets 10 mpg. My math comes out to needing to put 2.5 gallons back in there. I put 4 gallons of fuel in the truck before returning it and they still charged me for fuel because the gauge according to them wasn't back at 1/3 of tank. If you rent the trucks with a full tank, the customer has to bring it back with a full tank. Easy-no more guesswork or grey area. Also, don't bring the truck back late. I was less than an hour late and they charged me a full 2nd day. Go to Budget Truck, Enterprise, etc. Don't use Uhaul.Joe B.

Our pick up experience was horrible. We were directed a different location for pick up (Jiffy Lube). When we arrived at the new location they didn't have the number of blankets we reserved available and then couldn't find the keys to the truck. 20 ft. Truck seat and angle not adjustable for 6 ft. man.very cramping!!!. And tiring at just an hour in 4 hour drive destination. Steering was not adjustable angle either to match shoulders. The 20 ft truck is no match of excellence to the 26 ft truck used a few days before.!!!DAVID W.

While speaking to more then 3 people I kept getting different information on my Uboxs. First 2 did not know how to look up when my payment was coming out. The third person told me that I didn't have to pay for it till I went and picked it up. 2 days later I was charged a week earlier then the u-boxes were supposed to arrive which ended in overdrafting my account. When I called to see if they could revirse I was transferred 3 times. Where no one could help. By the end they transferred me to the first person I talked to.
