Would like to complain and tell everyone of a scam at uhaul. I have rented here many times for business. Last time l rented I purchased the insurance for the first time and they filed a false claim that there was damage. We proved that there was no damage got that in writing now they say the insurance company has a flag on my account and I can't rent one this morning until the insurance company closes claim. The insurance company does not open until 10am my time and I supposed to be in NJ by 1pm what a hassle

When a customer tries to return a rental trailer, don’t simply say “ not here, back there,” point around back, and disappear without offering to help direct the customer where to park the trailer. Don’t fail to ask if the customer needs assistance in unhooking the trailer. Customer service was atrocious..

Waited an hour and a half to get a U-Haul truck that I reserved a week in advance. Long lines. Slow service. I did get a discount after threatening to call corporate. Otherwise I would not have gotten anything.

When customer returns equipment you should inspect fuel gauge and make extra charges for the fuel used just like you do when one covers more mileage than original estimate. I over-refuelled by mistake only to be told that there is no refund for over refueling

Customer service is good. Only when telling a customer you can check in online let them no you have take the picture when in the truck . Because I took the picture and think I can do it after I get home.

When I scheduled to pick up my equipment, several weeks in advance, this is the location I chose. However, the location was switched prior to the pickup date. I was not happy about that. I wanted to pick up at this location and the website said that my pickup was guaranteed. When I arrived at the new site (1 Metropolitan Grove Rd, Gaithersburg, MD), due to traffic I did not arrive until 6:05pm. The site closed at 6pm and refused to answer the door despite the fact that there were people inside. The original site was open until 7pm. I recommend that you have the equipment available at the site that people originally chose due to proximity to them and the hours they chose. Do not randomly change the reservation because you have failed to allocate your equipment appropriately.

Significant rodent damage to lots of items in our unit. Upon moving out we found a dead mouse. The staff was incredibly helpful & friendly.
