Again hire more people. Walked in trying to drop trailer off. Again only one person behind the counter with a line of people waiting. Clerk was trying to process a return for some scag that wanted to return $7 worth of boxes. After 12 mins its finally my turn and another worker appears. Tell her I want to drop off a trailer. Was told to drive round back and drop it myself. Ok, cool just waited almost 15 mins for no reason. After dropping it I finally go back in, wait a few more minutes before getting my receipt. Please hire more workers. Especially on the weekends. There was another male worker working too but he seemed to just walk around and I don't know what he was actually doing. The people that were there and actually helping customers were good. I feel bad for them because they probably get to deal with alot of pissed off customers when it isnt their fault.

I rented a 12 X 10 enclosed trailer. For safety purposes, the employees must be given some kind of jack to lift the tongue of the trailer onto a hitch. The young lady that helped me in no way could lift the tongue of the trailer to get up to my hitch. Although I can do it, it is a real risk for a back injury for either the employee or the customer.

Service was extremely slow. The slowest I've experienced at a Uhaul. Several of the staff were not well trained, and had to ask other employees for assistance when they couldn't get something to work on the terminal. If I need a Uhaul in Frederick, I'll use them since they have a large fleet, but definitely not because of the service. Staff was friendly, though!

Hire runners to get the trucks so the cashiers (for want of a better word) can wait on the next customer. The store was empty when I went. There was one worker and another customer who arrived just after me. They had to wait through my transaction and the time it took for the cashier to go out and move my truck. Luckily it was a pickup that was right outside the door. If there had been a runner their wait time would have been cut in half.

Overcharged for the second time had the truck for a one day rental and was charged for two days, was on the phone for over an hour today no result. I am on vacation and wont be able to get to the store until the 6th for a refund of my over charges that are due to me. I've rented 4 trucks in the past month and 2 of them I was overcharged. I tried returning this truck 3 minutes after closing the door was unlocked and they took the keys told me they would check it in in the AM. I didn't fill it with gas because I was trying to get there before they closed because I was going on vacation. I can never reach the store directly I am on hold for 20 to 30 minutes everytime I call and get transferred to a call center. I will not be renting from uhaul anymore. I hope your customer services improve and you stop charging 2 days for a one day rental. Overall good vehicles and people in store are very nice but tired of the headache of over charges and wasting my time on phone calls that produce nothing.

i have used this location for rental many times and everytime checking in takes forever but this time i got to the front of the line with my reservation that was already changed from Saturday to sunday bc the website allowed me too book Saturday and they had no available trucks....but i get to the register for my check in for the man to tell me that he had misplaced the keys to the truck so i waited 20 more minutes for him to find me another truck....thank goodness another man was returning his truck so they gave me his truck.....well the mileage was off and i honestly belive the gas was off also....ive never spent 45.00 in gas for a uhaul on a local move....i was so frustrated....the lady on my return was awesome at trying to resolve the issue but i only granted a 10.00 difference.....when i say a local move i mean local smh. I think ill stay away from this location and maybe even try another moving truck ....just frustrated

The physical environment was clean and organized. The people were helpful, knowledgeable, and very nice. I waited in line, though, for an hour before being able to actually rent my pickup. Returning the truck was a similar experience with the addition of trying to park it in the jumble of vehicles coming in. Suggestion, hire a second set of people to do the “running” - taking the customer out to their rental or going over it upon return. This would free up the clerks to wait on the people who are waiting.

I had my settlement delayed, once rescheduled I had 2 days to book a truck and movers. UHAUL on Prospect made it happen despite the website saying no large trucks were available. The truck was ready to go and the staff was very helpful.

This location took 1.5 hours to figure out how to get me a haul that was available. I was told numerous times a vehicle was available but then she would say it wasn't. This delayed my move. Extremely dissatisfied. I was charged more than what I was quoted and then charged for gas even though my pick up location told me to bring it back at a certain amount and I did.

Only complaint is that I made my reservation on the app a few weeks ahead of time and I also completed the express check in but when I arrived to pick up the truck, there was a line of about 10 people ahead of me and there was no designated line for people who already had a reservation and express check in. So it took me an extra 30 minutes to be waited on. Other than that, it was a good experience

All of the personnel was friendly and helpful, making sure I had what I needed to accomplish my move. The only negative was at return. I returned the trailer mid-afternoon on a Sat which apparently is when everyone returns their rental. There is only one way in and one way out of the facility and it was clogged with vehicles coming back. It took a good 10-15 minutes before employees came out and began moving the returns so that those who were finished could leave. I cant believe this is the first time this has happened. A plan for this eventuality needs to be developed and implemented soon. Thank you

dont say a truck has 20 feet cargo for 19.99 space when it is actually 17 plus a 3 ft mom attic..I measured what i needed to load and i needed 20 x 8 x 7 ft high and got there and it was to small..manager fixed problem by giving me next size up..even he said a lot of people complained about that all the time

When you opened at 9 am there was one person running a register and 10 people in line waiting. I checked in online and it took forever to authorize (U-Haul online’s fault not the store). The lady who got my truck was amazing and quick and had it all ready though once online was ready! Would be nice if with 24/7 you could pick up whenever even if the store is closed.

The employee could not give me the truck I reserved because there was no record of it in the Uhaul system. They had the keys and they had the truck, but because the truck was no where to be found in the system, I had to leave with a much larger truck than I reserved. What should have been an easy pick up, turned into me being at Uhaul from 9:30 am (my pick up time), until 11 am trying to resolve the issue.

This form asks customers to review only the pickup and drop off locations. What about the reservation process! I have a big beef with HQ. When I called HQ to make a reservation, I was told that each truck INCLUDES a certain amount of limited collision insurance and that I have the option of choosing additional insurance to cover liability. Based upon this info, which I was since told was incorrect, I denied insurance. So when I picked up the truck in Schenectady and was told no truck includes insurance of any kind, I agreed to add insurance because I was 400 miles from home and could not check my homeowners policy, which in fact covers me. In other words, incorrect info given me when I reserved the truck led me to buy insurance I never needed. I'd like my $56 returned.

Too long of lines on Sunday morning for a return. Vehicles were lined up in the street and no place to return a trailer until multiple vehicles were moved. I had to unhitch it myself and roll it into the return spot since there was nobody to help. Then there were so many cars and trucks double parked out to the street that I had a hard time leaving the lot. They need more staff for peak times.

My plan was to rent a truck on Saturday morning and keep it for several days until we moved on Wednesday. So I showed up to rent a 26' truck with trailer one way. They said they were out but would have one the next day on Sunday. That prevented us from loading one day but figured it would be ok. So I rented it and came back the next day on Sunday. The person at the counter said the person did not bring the truck back and did not have a 26'. She said the only thing they had was a 20' in town only. Since we were in a tough spot, I decided to rent it knowing I would have to drive the 3 hours back to return it. It literally almost took 2 hours to rent the truck and trailer. We finally get the truck rented and the person at the counter forgot to add the trailer. So we had to wait even longer. On Monday, we realize we were going to need another truck (probably would have had enough rom for the 26'). So it was 6:40pm and it takes 20 minutes to get there. So I call the store and he said, "even if it is 7:01pm, we can't rent out any trucks, the system won't allow it." I found that hard to believe, but he said I could call the corporate number and schedule a 24/7 rental and he would get the 10' truck I needed ready for me to pick up that night. I called the corporate number and got everything situated. I arrived at the store around 8pm and went through all of the steps. This took around an hour which I thought was ridiculous. The site gives me the code to unlock the key box, I go to unlock it and there is no key inside. I click on the link saying that there is no key, the site automatically says that I rented the truck out, which I didn't, then gives me the number to the store manager. The number is the manager's personal number because it's a Baltimore area code. She doesn't pick up both times I call her. So I call the corporate number. The person I talked to at corporate also tried calling the manager. Again no one picks up. So the person I talked to on the phone suggested I come back the next day. I said that I couldn't because I had to work and that uhaul had now wasted another 2 hours of my life with nothing to show for it. I told her I wanted to cancel my reservation. She said, "we can't cancel the reservation, you'll have to contact the store the next day." The next day, my fiancé went to the store, another hour wasted, but this time we got the 10' truck. On Wednesday, we had to bring both trucks 3 hours south to our new house, return one truck, then take the other truck back up to Frederick. Then take our cars and kids back down to Fredericksburg. We didn't get back in until 3am. All could have been avoided if we had the one way trucks. Now, I get an email saying that I have an outstanding balance of ~$225. For what? You all have my card information. Why didn't you charge me when I returned the trucks and trailer? You can have my $225, but you will NEVER get my business again. Not only that, I will advocate other people to never use you all again

I reserved online but somehow it got cancelled. The uhaul employee called my wife to confirm I’d have the truck back on time. She said yes, next thing we knew the online reservation was cancelled. Then I saw another customer driving away in my previously reserved truck. Then we had to wait. The new girl at the actual store was super nice and helpful making the experience much better. Fire the online girl that cancelled my truck.

When we pulled the ramp out to load our customers furniture the whole ramp fell out on the ground almost injured one of my staff. Fix it so no one will be hurt!!! This situation totally inconvenienced our entire time we had the 26' truck. we had to pick up the ramp and tie it to the side rails of the truck so it would not damage my customers furniture. I waited in line over 40 minutes to get my reservation. Reservation was not on time. I mentioned the Guarantee poster on the wall that promised $50 if they weren't on time. The worked said he wasn't familiar w the sign. Everyone was pleasant and they were understaffed, but what is the point of reserving online if you then have to wait once you get there anyway?

One of the worst storage facilities I have ever utilized. There are frequently 40+ trucks parked all over the place, usually blocking the entrance and most of the storage areas. Staff unhelpful.

My 1 issue is customer svc. inside the store. This is a busy location — there would be one person ringing up customers & two people doing nothing (not on phone,etc). They’re young; need management.

Even though the place is secured with cameras and codes, we are not able to access our units after 7 p.m. that gives an hour or two after people get of work to access their unit during weekdays
