I rented a dolly that I used less than 24 hours and they charged me as if I used it for 48 hours. I rented a van again and the same thing happened. It didn't seem right to me. You pay more than normal.EDVIN G.

very nice employees and at time of rental, not busy inside so we got attention and questions answered as this was our first UHaul rental experience. Sara wonderful and was one I talked to when went to their location to check out a 15 ft. I'm answering "yes" to clean as do not want employees with negative hit and did not notice the thick dog hair in passenger seat..as was not in that vehicle or open that door until packing it up later that day. I did ask about the sign in the back of a similar 15 ft UHaul when stopped by days prior...that would receive $25.00 credit if returned clean. Mentioning here but not a failure on pick up location and will again if comments allow for drop off...as I have not received the credit and (upsetting), we were charged for gas...which has NEVER been a concern/problem when renting multiple cars from multiple agencies, over the years.Janelle H.

Service was horrible!! The mask mandate started back a few days ago, we did not have masks and to our knowledge, the mandate only applies if you are unable to distance from others; the location has plastic barriers in place, masks were not needed in our opinion. We walked in and the woman immediately snapped at us we needed masks. My husband asked if the location had them for customers that forgot, and she then snapped again that they did not! It was close to closing time, we spent over $2,400 at that location, and the amount of disrespect was unbelievable!!! Obviously, we needed the truck, so we went to CVS and got masks. We get back, the woman is behind the counter acting like she doesn't see us, after over a minute waiting for service we made eye contact and she reluctantly went to the back for another associate. Great facility - well-stocked, loads of vehicles, everything I could need is there. But customers have to park and leave their cars on the street. There's no onsite parking and the paved area around the store is plenty big.SCOTT G.

Initially reserved a Ford F-150 with an auto trailer. But later changed my mind to rent just an auto transport (trailer). I showed up with a 2021 Ford F-250 and the rep.(Bradford) at the store said my F-250 cannot be approved to tow a Toyota Rav 4. Meanwhile the location was willing to rent me a Ford F-150. He kept denying me the trailer several times and blamed it on the system. It's sad that I had to convince him for more than necessary times. So he ended up with a line in the store & they thought I was the problem. Especially since I was the only black person in there at that time. I though it was common sense that the F-250 should be even approved over the F-150 that I had initially reserved with uhaul. Bradford needs more training on common sense & human relations. I personally think that he was being racist. Period!!!.NANA O.
I know it's the holidays but I felt this time nobody wanted to help me. I rented a dolly. I thought the policy was for your agents to hook and unhook the dolly waiting for 20 minutes for somebody to come out. By that time I unhooked it myself. I would rate the staff 5 star, but the usual rental snafu when you rent one size vehicle and it isn't available. Even went in the day before to reserve a pickup, ended up with a 10' van -not what I needed and awkward for the narrow alleys I needed to negotiate. People who do not return their rentals on time should be penalized, not just allowed to extend.Laura B.

Bad day for me, I rented the truck and had a moving crew I paid by the hour. As I was driving to my new home, the truck lost power and cut off as I was driving on the highway. Scary stuff as we were almost hit by a few cars. I was able to make it to the median and tried calling 1-800-go uhual the voice recorded said to go to the website for help. Not really helpful if you don't have internet in the middle of the highway. My smart phone is not so smart. So while I was on hold, the movers left because they were not getting paid to sit a wait. I paid them on the side of the road and they left. I tried to start the truck and it started and rattled all the way to my house. I had to unloaded it myself, after that I brought it back to uhaul it cut off another time on the highway again. Just a bad day! I did get a refund but had to pay for fuel charges because I couldn't stop at a gas station due to the truck could break down again so I raced back to uhaul. I know these things happen it justade it rough because I couldn't finish my move and left half my storage full. I rented a second 15' truck as a back up and I'm glad I did. Everything was great. The only thing I would complain about is the parking for uhual it's very Cluttered and you can't get through anywhere. They need a better System for customers parking there cars. The storage was kind hard to find even with explanation when getting my unit number the guy who was at the front desk never said that there was an inside and that is where I'll find my unit number. I was told I could drop the truck off at the Uhal facility but then told I was charged 150 for leaving it there. Returned the truck to the correct facility.
