The van sounded like a car bomb firing off. Its alignment was off & had to keep wheel to the left instead of straight to keep it in a lane while driving down the road. It needs some serious maintenance.

Sandra provided great service. Brakes were horrible and dash dirty. I had to take long trip with brakes and allergies, would have returned for another vehicle.

I had reserved the truck and a push dolly (hand cart) but was told upon pickup that they didn't have one available. He mentioned that this truck was equipped with a push dolly and pad protectors, however neither of those items were in the truck. Fortunately, another storage facility was able to provide one. This a well run location I've used them before without issue.

The location didn't have dozen blankets, even though I was told that they will be at the time of reservation. Of course, I was not charged for the blankets but it was inconvenient and the movers were not happy. It was about damage to the furniture.

I bought. Stretch wrap a day before in aurora location at 21$ roughly but when I bought another one at this location they charged 26$ ish amount for the same.

We did not feel welcomed. There were a lot of people, only one person to take care of us at the counter. The person at the counter was slow, and incoherent sometimes. We felt like they were doing us a favor, instead of feeling like a customer.

Service was bad. They said I can return the vehicle by 7:30 but closed the door at 7PM. I didnt have my smart phone and it was difficult to complete the return which had me pay additional 20$.

One the person was rude and secondly he charged me for gas when I had already pumped for gas. And I opted for an electronic copy of the receipt (should have chosen paper instead and I would have caught it right away). So I didn't get a chance to review the electronic copy until the next day and I see a charge for fuel when I already pumped gas into it. He has charged me for 1 gallon of gas and his fuel marking is also wrong.

I was traveling a long distance and the trucks front headlamp was not secured to vehicle and popped out and was dangling. Fortunately it stayed attached, but was difficult to securely attach to vehicle.

The General Manager was very friendly and helpful. Coincidentally, at the time I was in the store, an elderly man was there - clearly confused and disoriented, said that he needed to get to the hospital for dialysis treatment. The U-Haul colleague was very considerate of his situation and worked with him and 911 to get him the help needed. I was very impressed. They did not shoo him away but went above and beyond.

The guy at the counter was super helpful but you guys need to hire more people I waited two hours went to three different locations and didn't get the right size truck luckily the guy at the counter saw my frustration and got me a truck that somebody didn't pick up. But I still had to rebook another set of movers add another truck for another day. Thank you for the inconvenience

I just had some issue getting the ignition to work on the van I got. Not sure why the wheel or ignition was so stuck it took a minute to get it going each time.

In general it was okay, one thing that bottered me was that the truck is very old and runs like if it had square tires, always bumping. Also it does jot indicate the side of the fuel tank. Other tan that it does the job very well.

I came from out of state to use a rental of a truck and 2 months of space. I specifically said I needed a 1 car garage space. She sold me over the phone a small unit that I thought was what I asked for till I got there and it wasn't what I needed and refused to refund me the money back and didn't even try to look for me another u it somewhere else very poor and I will never use this again!

This was not at all a good experience especially because I had to wait a lot until I got the truck keys and surprisingly I had to wait more for getting a dolly. I noticed major issues with the cleanliness of truck. Not good experience overall.

It would have been nice if the truck was brought up front like they usually do. He sent me to the way back lot to get the truck myself. The gas wasn't near close to what the contract said so I had to update it in the website.

Drop off was easy, I did it after hours. However, on Friday April 29th, I went to this location to buy a hitch and ball. The woman behind the counter was very helpful, and ensured I got the right equipment. When she was ringing up my purchase another customer came in and said he had an appointment to get a hitch put on his truck. There was another U-Haul employee standing there, and could not find the appointment. The customer looked at this information and said he had the date wrong. The woman who was helping me, then looks at the other computer, and starts answering the other guys; questions, all the while I'm standing there waiting to get on the road for a 6 1/2 hour ride. She should have finished my transaction, and then helped the other guy. or let the other U-Haul employee handle it.

Reserved truck was not available at Glamorous Furniture in Lisle, Illinois and the business was closed even though it was listed as open at noon on Saturday. I had to leave a message with the business owner, who said the truck hours were extended by two hours, so no truck was available until 2 pm at that location. This resulted in a one hour delay in picking up a Uhaul van in Aurora, which was located further away from home. I seriously doubt if my family will use your company in the future.

I think that it is fair for the storage to be prorated if the customer moves out before their next payment due. Every business that I've participated in had a prorated rate. This would be a great benefit to the customer.

This U-Haul facility does a much better job at answering inbound calls than many others. There have been many times that I’ve tried another facility and get stuck on hold forever or get forwarded to the National call center. The manager, Stacey, is awesome.

Your employee Bryan was trying to charge me an extra month of storage despite me moving out the day payment was due. He insisted on my debit card to supposedly return a $139 payment that was supposedly already withdrawn. - even though i didnt have that amount in my bank account. After calling my bank they assured me uhaul has no authority to withdraw money from my account. I dont appreciate the misleading information from an employee trying to trick me into handing over my debit card. He made me wonder if employees were defrauding customers this way. Anyhow I wasnt satisfied at all with uhaul and their services

I had a storage locker there for 10 years. I also had 2 trailer hitches installed on my vehicles at the Rt 49 Auroa IL location. Tammy, Sandra and the rest of the staff are excellent. On my move-out, I used Uboxes. Tammy called and confirmed the time with me and made sure they were onsite when I arrived. She even personally walked over twice during my move to make sure everything was going well then made sure I locked them up properly for transport. I cannot say enough about her or the others I have interacted with there. Give them an annual bonus this year. :) Jeff

I was impressed with how easy U-Haul makes it to arrange for trailers and storage. I am 100% satisfied with my recent experience. I purchased moving supplies from my local U-Haul facility in Troy, MI. I arranged for a one-way trailer rental via phone while enroute to Chicago. U-Haul scheduling called me to advise the pick-uo location at Five Star Auto in Joliet, IL. Julio was very accommodating. He was having trouble with the U-Haul web-site due to a system-wide outage. Rather than delay my departure he suggested emailing my paperwork and sent me on my way with the trailer. I had contacted U-Haul Moving and Storage in Naperville/Plainfield, IL about a storage locker. Upon arrival, I discovered the location was not as close to my destination as I had hoped. The attendant directed me to a more convenient location - U-Haul Moving and Storage of Fox Valley. Upon arrival, Kati helped me rent the perfect size storage locker. The facility was immaculately clean and well lighted. As an aside, please note that Siri (iPhone's guru of directions, does not seem to know that U-Haul Moving and Storage of Fox Valley exists - perhaps you can tell her about this excellent location so others can find it..

We were not told that the access wasn't 24 hours, just that we had after hours access, which sounded to us like 24 hours access. We went to our storage at 11pm and could not get in; we weren't very happy about that.
