Good morning I am emailing you in regards to your store 776054 located at 4374 Thurman Rd. in Forest Park Georgia this morning I attempted to rent a trailer of yours but was notified by your employees that you did not have any wires for any of the 8 trailers on the lot. After browsing through the store I was able to find and purchase an adapter at the price of $48 that worked. I believe the employees purposely took all the wires off the trailers to not properly do their job on this Monday morning. Before leaving the lot I found an employee holding two sets of trailer wires that were taken off the trailers. As a business owner this is disappointing that employees would purposefully turn away customers for the satisfaction of â€œdoing nothingâ€. I attempted to call the GM Simone Hill first with no luck.CORY T.

My reservation that was booked online was changed without my knowledge and I almost lost my rental truck as a result. I placed reservation for 5400 Old National hwy location and it was changed to forrest park, ga without any notice the morning of pick up. This caused quite a bit of confusion for me.......Jai B.

I walked in with a pick up at 5:00pm , all the counters were empty wasn't greeted in or anything . I had to walk around the other side of the counter being that boxes blocked the view to find a very inattentive clerk . As we approached , he didn't even OPEN HIS MOUTH no hi welcome to uhaul how may I help you instead he just stared at us until we decided to say well hello I'm here to pick up a truck . He replied Okay did you check in ? I asked check in as far a what ? I made the reservation online . He says look on your phone and do what it's telling you . Okay so as I'm trying to do that the service in the building is HORRIBLE so it's not loading I tell him , he says well I DONT KNOW you can stand by the door . ( the automatic door while it's 40 degrees outside & I had a toddler child , I asked is there any way he can check me in on the computer he says no . So we go outside to get service in the cold while he just sits there attempting to do NOTHING not even the minimum. I clicked pick up my truck , then I was directed to a contact us page saying I had an issue with a previous uhaul . I asked him what it is about he says â€œ OH YOU MUST AINT PAY THEM â€œ first of embarrassing & second rude . So now it's 20 minutes past the pickup time I'm calling the rep and on hold for about 10 minutes . There was a system error & there shouldn't had been anything about an outstanding issue . So it was removed from my account immediately. When I walk back in , mind you i was in route to Budget rental because I was just not going to spend my money at this Uhaul place . & I still went against my first thought & turned back to return to Uhaul. I come in , he still doesn't speak first , I had to state my business. He didn't Try to say hey did you call them did you get anyone or did you get it resolved just sat and looked at me until I spoke first . I told him it was a system error & I didn't owe anything . He didn't even had the decency to say well I apologize for that inconvenience or NOTHING just â€œOHâ€ literally that's all he said was â€œOHâ€ so I'm like okay look can I get the truck it's already 5:30 . He say did you check in on the phone so Deja Vu all over again I have to stand outside in the cold to load this online check in ... I also rented a dolly . After I checked in he gave the key . Assuming that I paid for the dolly I thought he would know which I'm SURE he did see my reservation and how long I booked it for & what I added on to the order . So it's not like he was unaware just downright nonchalant and rude . So I left with no dolly until I got to where I needed to be opened the cargo and no dolly . I had to DRIVE BACK & again no apologies no nothing this time it was â€œ oh my bad it's still in the other truck â€œ . I rented the truck for 2 hours by the time I got done dealing with him it was already 6:10 so now I have to return in 50 minutes & I also put more miles on the truck having to come back to the location because Uhaul decided to hire a person who isn't even a people person and doesn't deserve this job . I've never been soooo UPSET & helpless . I mean he wouldn't even TRY to help me sign in his best bet was for me and my daughter to stand by an automatic door with the Sun down & it was freezing . I really needed that Uhaul but I will NEVER EVER rent with Uhaul again this location ruined it for every others location . It was such a hassle and disgrace that he'd give me such a hard time . As a grown man & I understand the LGBTQ community but he was SOOO evil spirited & so snappy like he had an attitude with me as soon as I walked in & I still spoke respectfully when honestly he deserved a slap in the face . This was the worst experience of my life. I had a reservation for a 15â€ truck. Upon arrival at the location we waited over 30 mins to find out the truck we rented was not even there and was rented to the person in front of us who had no reservation. The uhaul employee then took another 30 mins to try and find us another truck which was another 30 mins away from the location we were at. I took an Uber there and now have to pay to go to this other said location. The employee offered us a ride in his personal vehicle. Arrival at second location, the truck was not even ready and they just threw the equipment at us and told us to load it ourselves. This whole time I have paid movers through uhaul waiting on the truck and because of the amount of time This process took almost left and ended up Costing me more money. The entire move the truck had a leak through the drivers side window and soaked us for 4 hours. Also all of our belongings in the back were soaked too.Michael E.

Rented the truck and tried to get extended time by phone and was told the truck was due back with no availability of keeping the truck but once I returned the truck, I was told that I could keep it for an additional time. I was charged for mileage that I shouldn't have due to the incorrect information that was given to me over the phone. I rented the trailer and the you man hooked it up. On my way to NY, the lights on the trailer would not come on. The brake lights worked but not the lights around the the u-haul trailer. So we had to stop and spend the night in a state we did not want to. So our trip was delayed.JENNIFER J.

When I rented the uhaul, the back of the truck was closed. When we got to our location, the back had swung open and was stuck at the top. We couldn't get the back of the truck back down, so we had to drive all the way back to the uhaul location for them to fix the back. We used about 40 miles going back and forth, as well as gas, even though the back of the truck was broken. No discount or accommodation was offered to me.Heather J.
