I always deal with this location. Also I am always referring everyone I know to this location. The only problem I had is the app for returning the truck would allow me to check the truck in. It constantly stated error, even after creating a account.

First of all I don't expect anybody to call me or contact me about these comments. That would be what I expect because the customer service I received was terrible. First there needs to be a way to contact the local storage facility where my U-Box is located. Being transferred every time I called to the national number to talk to someone who had no idea what I was talking about is terrible. I was routed all over creation and the people I spoke to had no idea about my U-Box or any questions that I might have and they could never get me in contact with the local storage facility in Missouri. Second it's absolutely ridiculous that I could not transfer my son's U-Box under my U-Haul account, to his U-Haul account unless we were both present at the local storage facility at the same time. I live in Indiana he was going to school in Missouri he had to come home for a semester so we stored his items in a U-Box in Missouri. In the end it turned out he could not go back to school. He started working and then eventually moved to Colorado where he has a job. I'm paying for his U-Box because it's still under my account and they tell us that we can't transfer it to his account so that he can start paying for it unless we both showed up in Missouri at the same time. That's ridiculous since we have different schedules. There should be a way by notarized letters or something that this could have been taken care of remotely, but I was told it can't be done. That alone will eliminate u-haul from any of my future storage needs. Finally I ended up having to have the box shipped to my house in Indiana so I could store the things for him because he didn't have room for them in his apartment I was initially told that it would cost $50 to have the U-Box delivered within a 50 mile radius. In the end they charged me over $135 to come from a facility that was about 24 miles away. Plus when my UBox arrived it went to Louisville Kentucky instead of to Jeffersonville Indiana where they said it was going to go. If it wasn't for me calling all over the place to try to figure out where it was and when it was going to get here I still wouldn't have it. That's my story it'd be nice if someone called me and offered me something for the hassles. In the end I should have been charged $50 not $130 something to have it shipped from my local storage facility here in Indiana to my house.

I am giving you this below average score, not for the pick-up experience, but because the drop-off experience was horrible; and only due to one person. I was on-site early morning, and when I saw the first person arrive for work, at maybe 6:35 am, and he clearly saw me, and heard me I asked him if you all were going to open at 7:00 am. He did not look my way, nor did he acknowledge my question, with an answer. So I just waited back in my vehicle and tried entering at 7:00 am. At 7:00 am he opened the doors, still did not acknowledge me, not even with a Hello - or - Welcome, as one would expect, particularly when you know you are the first customer so far for that day. Furthermore, when he moved a cart on wheels to stage outside he nearly ran right into me, possibly even forgetting that he just opened the door for someone. I really knew that this guy was very unhappy; possibly due to the early morning shift, or maybe because he had to work on Thanksgiving, or maybe he is just not a happy person period -- but when he asked if he could help me...he said so in a rather abrupt fashion, plus he slammed something down that made a loud noise. When I shared with him that I was simply returning a vehicle, he went outside to check it out, and returned with a 100 mile charge, which I still find hard to believe ( I estimated maybe 80-miles which I felt that it would have been plenty ), so if one can re-verify that the mileage was correct, because I drive the same route everyday, and it is really closer to 60-miles. By the way, the second person who was there was one that I had interactions with on the first day, and he was just as professional on the second day, as the first. Worst Uhaul experience ever. The employsees just stand around while customers are waiting. I stood inside for 30 min waiting to pick up my truck while the employees got done with there conversation I wasn't greeted or anything they all walked off in back I was the only one in there for the moment.... Just so unprofessional..... then it took another 30 min before I even drove away with the truck they were moving so slow while talking about personal weekend activities....
