The gas gauge was less than when I was told it had 5/8, not 3/4 (and at over $4.50 a gallow that's a lot). The cargo area of the van smelled like dog urine, you could see where the urine ran across the mat and out the dog. I couldn't move my mattress because it would have been in dog urine. I rented the van so that I could move everything at one time now I need to figure out how to move my mattress. This was one of the worst experiences with U-Haul I've ever had.

Mike J.The staff was very kind and helpful, but unfortunately the equipment (at least the 9' van I rented) was disgusting. The cargo area was definitely not cleaned. I ended up laying down paper to transport my moving boxes. There was also trash in the dashboard/windshield area. At least the staff was super understanding of my experience and assured me that I would not be charged for someone else's mess.
Ayse H.Uhaul really needs to hire someone to do a through cleaning after each booking!! It's no wayyyyy that I should have to sit in other people mess when I come rent a vehicle!! Ronald B.Tell renters what WLA means . After hours the key boxS are labeled with Big numbers 1 thru 6. The info given to me was WLA BLUE. There is a small letter on each combination lock . Mine had a small a on it . SO I HAD NO IDEA which box my keys were in . I tried the blue combo on all of the locks , the lock did not open easily after the phone helper told me my key was in box 1. Simple to fix by telling me box 1 or lock a code blue and wd40 the locks.
DEAN C.Truck only had wiper blade on drivers side. Drivers side mirror shook so bad you couldn't hardly see in it. Truck was dirty inside. Contract said truck had 3/4 tank of fuel, only really had 5/8. The Miller rd uhaul was very quick for pickup and dropoff.

Jeff F.I was 15 minutes early to pick up a trailer that I was renting. They should of let me know that If I waited 15 minutes that I would not be charged for an extra day. I was fortunate that I returned it earlier than expected so I was only charged for one day. That little bit of customer service goes a long way.
BRUCE S.We rented a Pull behind 5 x 9 trailer with a ramp. Everything went well with the process of getting and paying for the trailer, however no instruction was given to us on how to get the trailer. We stood by our car for almost 10 minutes and then saw a guy on the other side of the parking lot standing there also. We finally yelled over to him and asked him if that is where we were supposed to go and he said yes. We would've stood there all day had we not asked. I think a little clearer instructions on how to pick up the trailer would be helpful. Other than that we had good service.

Eric J.The truck I had (NG4578) had a cardboard sign on the passenger sign on the front seat when I picked up the truck. There were moving blankets and a can of fruit left in the box of the truck. The steering wheel had sticking points in it. Had trouble keeping the truck steady. I returned it and informed the rep of the problem. Said she would inform the tech of the problems. I saw him drive it around the parking lot and park it. Should have been checked better.

CHRISTOPHER S.In-store staff was a little rude couldn't help out store employee check in trucks cause they were too busy talking about a get together they were planning when there were at least 2 vans and 3 trucks to check in employee outside asked for help and one said I am busy and the manager said just go do your job and then started laughing when he left they took my key and said I am sorry we are backed up I can email you your receipt in like 30 minutes I had to call customer service 3 hours later to get it

Joel M.One middle aged woman worker was on phone with personal call and ignored me while other was on phone with customer so another woman was on break stopped and helped me seeing I was being ignored. I do wish you had lower prices for people who need to rent only 2 or 3 hours. I just needed to pick up 6 ft fencing and take home. Waited about 20 minutes when dropping off. A couple employees were helpful.

COREY LAMONT B.I got a truck that's tail gate only worked with the key fob. The paperwork was for the wrong truck. The entire truck reeked and was cover from the inside of the windshield, stirring wheel, down the dash board and the inside of the driver side door. The guys were good about checking out the truck. And agreeing it didn't match and it was a mess. After leaving and filling up the tank I cleaned the inside if the truck. The truck was returned as it should have been in the first place. I was given a discount witch was very appreciated. I will be back again the employees where fantastic

Gerald M.I would not recommend u-haul, no matter the location, to anyone! They say it's easy to rent equipment but it was actually a huge hassle. The rear tires on the van I rented, were beyond bald. We got stuck in the mud with no traction. I called for assistance and was told the price was about $400 to move the van approximately 50 feet. It was raining that day and because of the bald tires, I almost got into an accident after hydroplaning getting off the expressway. The return options that were sent to me via email, made no sense, so I parked, dropped off the keys and left. I will NEVER go through all the hassle again!
Katie S.Cab smelled of Marijuana. Transmission ran as if it might need some maintenance. Rear view mirrors gave me some trouble: couldn't get them set for my driving habits. Otherwise, enjoyed ride.

Tisha S.The final cost was a lot higher than I had anticipated. My fault for not shopping around for rental services prior to moving. I rented a 20 ft truck and drove it 99 miles . The tank was on one quarter according to the fuel gauge, and of course I was told to bring it back with the same amount of gas. I put in 10 gallons and was charged another 6 gallons by U-Haul. So that's a little over 6 miles per gallon. Half of those miles with an empty trailer. Perhaps their vehicles aren't maintained and tuned up as often as they should be. Seems like it would be a lot fairer if they gave me a full tank of gas to start with and filled it back up when I brought it back. Both times in my presence. Then I would be sure that I only paid for the gas that I used. On a more positive note, the workers were mostly pleasant. I don't imagine they're the ones making the Lions share of the money that I paid. LESSON LEARNED

Therefore, if I wouldn't have taken a picture before I left you could have add more money to my bill. Also, I return the item back two days early and no refund but if I need it for extra day you charge me $60 more each day after the time.

joseph S.First of all your site needs to be more informative. When I rented the unit online it showed the hours of operation to be 24hrs. I was unable to access my unit when we arrived because I was told by someone at the 800 number I called that the 24 hr use is only for people that pay an additional $10 per month. That was never mentioned on the site or I would have gladly signed up for it. Because of this we had to rent a hotel room and miss a day of work. Other than the girl that checked me in, who by the way did a great job, the staff was rude to include the manager. We had a situation where the door that we needed to back into the building at was open until we attempted to back the truck into the building. Apparently the door has an automatic timer to close so as soon as we backed the truck up to the building the door started closing. I was already almost at the door when it started closing so I didn't see it coming down until it hit the top of the truck. We got the door off the truck and tried closing it do to the temperature outside and the door ended up cutting one of the sensor wires as the first roller had come off the track. When explaining the situation to the manager she was rude and was claiming that it was our fault that the door hit the truck. She said there were 3 sensors to to keep it from happening. Either she wasn't telling the truth or the sensors didn't work because the door automatically closed while backing the truck. I understand her frustration at the situation but I don't understand her blaming me for damaging the door. Again, the door automatically shuts after 3 minutes she told us but it did not stop from hitting the truck. She told me that she was going to assess the damage and charge us accordingly. Now thanks to this whole debacle I have a back injury from trying to lift the door. This whole experience was the worst truck rental and storage rental that I've ever had in my life costing me a day of work, a hotel bill, and a sore back.

Cheryl K. | First ImpressionsI found the staff to be friendly however, I had many problems, most importantly, I feel as though I was completely over-charged with over $600 in fees for a truck rental and a storage unit. I have to go through and figure out what all the charges are for and the receipts don't even specify so I have no way of knowing. I do know I got charged $38 for fuel when the truck was returned on 1/2 tank just as it was when I picked it up. Initially the storage unit I had was far too small and was no a drive up so that put my move behind a whole day. Also I had to come back for the dollies I rented because they forgot to load them. That also put my move behind. I had to come back up there because no one would answer the phone. I would not recommend this uhaul store.

Other than that, I'm pretty happy with it. I would recommend uhaul storage to anyone. For the climate controlled storage and the ease of access it's well worth it.

DAVID has a very good BALANCED personality that includes a necessary blend of compassion, commitment and knowledge Actually, the WHOLE team was VERY good this time. Moving is STRESSFUL for MANY reasons and especially since COVID and the desperation it created in families. Please allow me to say..."WE NEVER KNOW THE SOLES IN WHICH ONE WALKS but WE CAN HELP WITH THEIR SOULS"....this is in all aspects of life especially when one's life has ended up in plastic bags going down the road in a WHITE & ORANGE TRUCK!!!!!
