Fantastic facility !! I rented there 10+ years ago and remembered that Wiltom manors UHaul.I let them know that there was dog hair all over the seats and cab floor. I drove 300 miles sneezing and congested since I have allergies with dogs. It was a miserable 300 miles !!James C.

I think the first and major thing is to hire a new staff. When I picked up my rental I was told as with any other rental to return it with same amount of gas. He told me it had a half tank. When I was pulling out. I noticed the gas was on empty. I also took a photo. I put $40 in the cargo van. And returned it with over a quarter tank. Well above with it started with. And i also took another photo. Yet when I get the final bill. I was charged yet another $30 for gas. Which I think is wrong on your company's part. When I spoke with the guy about the charge. He refused to listen to me. Nor did he care to look at the photos.Larry S.

Kevin the return check in agent was very good at his job. Meanwhile two other employees a young lady ) the one that checked me in when I picked up the van was having a loud heated argument with another male Employee. He was bagging blankets. I walked over and Asked if they We're ok - the male blame her - He Said go check him In - she said one second But I was already been helped by Kevin. Kevin was very Apologetic and embarrassed. Customer service. I requested a pick up location in Davie, FL for 5/2/2022. But the day before I get an email that I was confirmed a pick up location in Wilton Manors. Why was that truck not transferred to the location I picked. I reserved the truck almost 2 weeks in at advance. To drive from Davie to St. Petersburg. Just having to spend money on Uber from Davie to Wilton manors and the extra mileage and gas, Not to mention I was told to either go to the other location or cancel the reservation. Was not a good feeling Renting a truck from St. Petersburg to Davie round trip was less expensive then this 1 way trip. The tow/Uhaul light was on and rep. did not know how to turn it off .Annie S.

with your vehicles in particular but also with rental vehicles in general--clean the INSIDE of the windshield well--I rent alot of vehicles, and most come equipped with "fake fog" because of the haze on the inside of the windshield that has either been ignored completely or poorly cleanedPatrick M.

The front seat was full of dog hair. I had to ask the manager to clean them. He was very nice and did. However, the white girl with braids in her hair was very rude when I went to return the truck. I walked in and let her know I was there to return the truck. She asked me to park in the return spot and someone would go out to help me when they had time. She was on her phone and not helping anyone. I did as she said and parked the truck in return. No one came out. Another customer went in and they helped them. I went back in and they said I could just give them the keys and they would send me a receipt or I could keep waiting outside. I went back outside. The girl with braids came out after a few min and said "the keys?". I handed them to her. She told me I was good to go. I asked for the receipt and she said it would be emailed to me, got in the truck, pilled out and squeaked the tired at me and took off like she was in a hurry. I don't feel she was professional at all and would not like to go back to this location if they have service like that.BenjaminMerlin T.
have this location not park uhaul trucks in the handicap parking spots. I am a disable veteran and could have used the spot, assure customers that uhual employees taking my photo with thier personal cell phone device as local law enforcement asked this location to photograph every customer as "people are renting our trucks and robbing homes". i dont feel comfortable to have my personal information on your employees cell phones. Ask mgmt to not interrupt uhual employees while they are talking to and helping customers, its rude and unprofessional.douglas M.

The customer service in this place is horrible. The female clerk would not get up from the chair to assist me and remained seated even though she was unable to reach up at the counter. Sheer laziness didn't care to help me and remained on her cell phone. Never have I experienced such terrible customer service in all of the times I have frequented u-haul. I believe I was overcharged. You may look at all the times I have used U-Haul and see what a loyal customer I have been for so many years. I also feel I was overcharged. I don't know how THIS rental, with ONE 100-mile round trip in under 3 hours, cost MORE than my previous rental, which was for 5 hours, and had TWO 100-mile round trips!!! I think I've been robbed, or the check in clerk made some serious mistakes. I had a truck rented for the entire weekendâ€¦ The AC in the first truck was absolutely horribleâ€¦ Then the engine light came on and I had to travel 6 miles round-trip to the location to pick up another truck and I was charged for those six extra milesâ€¦ I need to be compensated because your truck had an engine problem and I had to return it out of my busy weekend. While my experience with Harry and his team at 5-points was excellent. Uhaul in general has a dismal track record with me. In this latest episode, I had reserved a truck weeks ago for my scheduled move . I flew in from Tampa to pick up the truck was told there are no trucks available only when was in Fort Lauderdale. Today wasn’t the best trip for me to this store. Though we got the job done, the journey to rent was awful. To be short, a problem in the system resulted in about 18 taps, insertions, and swipes of two separate pay cards along with some failed manual input attempts. I was left emotional after 45 mins of that torture, a trip to the atm, and a friendly 10-min grace window to pay after normal store hours. I’m glad I didn’t have to change locations. Also glad I didn’t blow up. Jareth, please be a bit more sensitive to customers feelings and stop putting so much emphasis on the possibility of FRAUUUDULENT suspicions at my bank. The online system was good and easy. No big complaints there. Our unit has stair-only access, which wouldn’t have deterred me, but I could see that being an issue for others. I don’t remember that being stated in the description. We did have difficulty finding our unit. I did not see the link for the facility map that was in an email until after we went to the facility. We were driving around and couldn’t find the right building, a directional sign, or map. We eventually went into the office, where the only associate was working with another customer. We waited for a few minutes, but eventually a small paper map on an empty associates desk, from which we were able to find our unit. I would recommend some signage to at least direct cars toward the right access doors for the different alphabetic regions. The “air conditioned” unit was very hot. After loading our unit we went back the the office and told the associate who said they knew and that it was going to be fixed soon. We went back today (two weeks later) and the AC unit was running, but it was still above 85° On the wall mounted thermometer. Not the end of the world, but worth noting, the door stop on the access door to our section is broken. One final note, our unit had a rat trap in the corner.
