Don't allow people to smoke in the uhaul and clean it before giving it to new customersNINA F.
I ordered and reserved a truck online with supplies and specifically needed a Utility Tool to move a large piece of furniture and and when I ordered it online it didn't tell me that it wasn't available but when I got there they said it wasn't available but when I got there they said it was an available and they were terrible in terms of explaining how things worked. When I left I realized that they hadn't put any of the boxes that I had ordered in the truck and then I didn't have anything that I needed when I got to the location. When I explained that to the clerk she said it was my fault because I was supposed to tell them That I ordered online but since I hadn't done this before I didn't know I was supposed to tell themDawn L.

I actually had a smooth, easy experience at this location. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions for me. It was my first time renting and they were kind and patient. I can't remember where I found it, but the reviews and ratings for this place were subpar. Hopefully this will be helpful.Melissa S.
Check more than appearances. My passenger door was loose. The truck shakes over 50mph, mirrors are loose so it moves when you drive. But customer service was greatJOSHUA C.

Service was friendly and professional. My only complaint is that I picked it up with a 1/4 tank gas, that's not a big deal but I returned it with a little more gas than what I got it with and was still charged for 2 gallons of gas, again not a big deal ....just saying.Philip C.

The staff on Friday 8/13 pm was extremely hemp. I only needed a rental for a couple of hours and they were able to find a vehicle that I could use. It was an easy process and I would absolutely rent from this Uhaul branch again.CHAD B.

Who is Jose Torres? My name is Brandy Anctil-Torres. It appears someone used my info to rent equipment from your facility without my permission. The alternative contact name I have on Rental agreement is my daughter , and that phone number attached to her info is no longer in her permission. Please do not rent equipment to people without my consent. I don't know who rented equipment but I'm the only one on rental agreement. My address connected to storage unit is 228 Sunset Hill , and besides myself living at that address, no other adult lives with me.JOSE T.

I have no qualms with this location, my issue is with the UHaul reservation system that allows over booking of equipment. I made a reservation for a cargo van, when I show up, there is no cargo van. I was told that they over booked the equipment, but could offer me a 15ft box truck. The box truck was oversized for my use but I took it at a lower rate. I appreciate the staff offering me the reserved rate, but the fault is placed on the company for creating unnecessary difficulty for its customers and their staff. Your reservation system should be real time or updated.Nelson P.

It took 4 days and 5 different units from 3 different towns to finally be able to have a storage unit. The assistant manager and manager of New Bedford Mass should not have jobs they gave our unit away and then kept giving us units that where not accessible and when given a chance to make it right they kept saying there was nothing they could do and it was our problem. They were rude and talking down and slander about other facilities. They would not watch the video of us looking for our units and they wouldn’t bring us to show us any of the units that was unavailable. I will never use you guys or refer you guys and I will be telling everyone about this experience. Your motto is moving is stressful we make it less stressful and that to me is a trash motto for a trash company. You made my worst week even worse for 4 additional days of stress then blaming the customer. I have videos I will be posting on all my social media pages.William L. | Overall Experience

Since we had a unit that was on the basement level, we needed to use the conveyor belt. Sending the items down worked okay, but sending them up was difficult. The tread on the belt is so worn down, there is no grip, so a lot of the items kept slipping down and we needed to carry them up the stairs. The online pick up and drop off service need upgrading. The process took far too long, had you running around the lot, and the chat and call customer service was unresponsive. I wouldn't use the service againIsabella R.
I rented a van for a few hours. I left with 2610 miles on it and brought it back with 2621 miles. I just received a receipt in my email stating I brought it back with 2653 miles and was charged for 43 miles when I actually only drove 11 miles. I wish I had taken a picture of the odometer, but I don't think I'll be renting from here again.Holly P.

Great Service. It all worked out well in the end, but the drop off location I requested was Haddam CT and I was given Hamden CT. Not even close. When I saw it, I called the number on my text message and it was changed without any problem. His name was Gabe. The gas was on the line before the E when I picked up the Uhaul. I put 34 dollars in gas when I had the Uhaul. Y'all try to charge me for gas that wasn't in Uhaul I'm not responsible for something that it was no gas in the truck. And y'all made my account negative.TONI S.

$1 per mile to drive this truck I feel is outrageous I was only moving 6 miles and it cost me two and a half times as much for mileage as it did to rent the truck I would have rented a $39 truck but none was available so I have to rent a $20 truck and make two trips my ass hurts I feel like I got corn whole d by U-HaulChristopher N.

I was sent on a journey just trying to get my truck. Original location didn't have it so they called me the night before to go to another one- inconvenient but I understood- went to Warwick only to find out I needed to go to Fall River- ridiculous- loss of gas and time on my partFrank F.
The customer service rep said the tank was half full and by the time we got to our destination 10 miles away we realized it was only a 1/4 full so we ended up having to pay much more for the gas.Michael S.

The truck was filthy dirty absolutely disgusting, the front and rattled so much I could not go over 45 miles an hour. Absolutely horrible to not let anybody rent from this location. I called the manager and she didn't even care.Paul M.

There were rodent feces in my unit and in /on my belongings. I asked several times for something to be done and each time I was given a new mouse trap to place in my unit. My 6 year old autistic couldn't use the facilities as It was dirty (and the bathroom) was covered in human blood and feces a few times when I went there. Also I ended up having to stop taking him with me when I went there because people were in there using drugs on several occasions and I didn't want him exposed to that. It was the final straw for me. I felt It was unsafe. I stopped using the facility for a few reasons but that was the main one for meStacey B. | Overall Experience
