I did not approve nor do I agree with charging a surprise $1.00 "Environmental Fee". This is NOT my responsibility. U-HAUL should be responsible for their own PC fees. Also, it is not possible to measure the amount of fuel to add to return it to the level at which the truck was received. The final receipt indicates it was returned with 1/8 of a tank more. Why am I not credited for this? Otherwise, great people and great facility.

I chose U-Haul primarily for the safety and security features. When I was moving out of my first apartment, I was moving a lot of stuff at night after dark and as a single female, I felt nervous using a storage facility that was not lit, visible from a main road, or had unit security. At U-Haul, I definitely paid more than other places, but I always felt safe. My only qualm with U-Haul was the recent rent increase this year (which I totally understand in this valley but I am an educator! I don't make a lot of money!) especially since there had not been any tent increases in the past 2 or 3 years that I had been renting. otherwise, would definitely rent again and recommend to friends.

Honor people reservations. I reserved a truck a month before my moving date. When it came time to move, Uhaul had rented out all the trucks. What a shitty client experience. I will never use uhaul to move again.

I had to return after 4miles as the low tire pressure light came on. They released some air from the front tire and all was good. As we got to the Canada/US Border which was about 65 miles from pickup I shut the engine down at the crossing and when I started it the radio would not turn on. Believe me it was along 400+ miles with nothing to listen to. Gracias

Facilities are well maintained and well managed. They were available whenever we needed help and I always felt welcomed and well taken care of. The unit itself was clean and well lit. They have a great security system that makes you feel secure and safe. Their prices are a little steep, but overall a great experience.

I would say that the bay for receiving equipment to be marked as don't disconnect trailers at the receiving tent area where it says” return equipment here just little clarity would help. I proceeded to disconnect and the associate cane out and not so much of a greeting but oh “don't disconnect here this is just an area that we know you are here” which was a little frustrating when I don't see signs posted as such. They were the only location open until 8pm Friday, which was very helpful. However, the local number provided from your "dispatch" service would not answer. I wanted to make sure they were indeed open as many things have changed since Covid. It's a 30 minute drive from Whitefish, so had they been closed, your customer would not be satisfied, to say the least. It would be handy to publish an active local number that I can get through to rather than having all calls forwarded to a call center where I have to wait on hold for inordinate amounts of time. The guys in Kalispell were very helpful once I did arrive.

Rate that was discussed when reserved (4 months earlier) was not honored at time of pickup. No help was given when picking up equipment. Equipment was horribly dirty. Wil never use again

Rates are a little higher than local spots and this was the only choice I had. Always an issue with my card not working or the box not taking my pin- I set off the alarm almost every time even when staff helped. Staff was friendly yes but almost always so un professional. Don't acknowledge the customer always sitting on the desks and having better conversations with each other than being timely helpful. It was a little bit of a frustrating experience

Customer service was extremely poor, the gentleman at the counter served 7 people before getting my truck ready while the other 2 workers sat around, even though I had been waiting for my truck for over an hour. I paid 300 dollars and regret every single penny. Being renters I move atleast once a year and have always used uhaul but I will never again spend money at this business. I will spend the extra money for quality customer service through Penske.

Night and day difference from the pickup location. Large, clean, professional. Worker greeted us and was in the process of THROUGHLY cleaning several U-Haul trucks. He gave us directions where to park the truck and said he would email us a receipt shortly. He had a blower and was blowing out the cargo area, wiping down the seats and as we were leaving we could even see him washing the windows. I wish all locations were this together. Compliment to this location and U-Haul!

I rented a unit because they were unable to secure a moving truck. I'm so discussed with U-Haul and the bait and switch they pulled. I have already paid over $5000.00 to U-Haul for trucks and storage. The whole situation has been my worst nightmare ever! I hate U-Haul and the way they treated seniors like me!

If you reserve and pay for a unit online its a waste of time you save no time at all you take the money and do not reserve the unit and all the information you provided is lost and you have to start over in person after waiting in a line for 20+ minutes

I had reserved the largest room available two weeks prior to arrival. I moved my entire house from Houston Texas to this facility, a total of 2100 miles. I arrived and when I checked in I was told that the room was not available despite me having the reservation email.

The price is way too high and there is zero flexibility w people who r struggling. I was about to lose everything and I rented a truck from I guys which means a month free and u guys wouldn't apply it because it had to be a new unit which is horrible because ur loyal customers should be somewhat of a priority.

The storage is good and secure. I have been renting storage since 2016, currently have one unit and added another. The only glitch was the display on the outdoor card reader was inoperable. You couldn't tell if the card had been read, and you were checked in or out. We set off the alarm twice because of that. First time that has ever happened. I hope it is fixed before I have to go back later in the week.

The store-front/office was crawling with customers when I arrived. Every employee I encountered over the phone and in person were accommodating in every way. They were knowledgeable, helpful and nice. When I was there in person, I noticed how well they prioritized customers. For example, one gentleman helped me and I'm fairly certain he is not assigned to work in the office. The way I saw it, he observed how many customers were at the front desk and came in from somewhere in back to help out. He wasn't as quick navigating the computer as the women who are in the office all the time. He was pleasant and patient and persistent but a regular office worker came along to take over before he could complete my reservation. The best thing was that he didn't get nervous or crabby; he just plugged along, giving a lot of effort, and kept a pleasant tone. I witnessed impressive teamwork and positive attitudes. I could tell the employees like each other, are happy working with each other, and are good at tag-teaming to get the job done; at least that's how they seemed in front of me, Both the hiring process and training program appear thorough and must be working as intended (either that OR an excellent labor pool exists at this location). The inside office offers every moving supply you can possibly need. The coolest, most helpful feature for me was the model unit(s) inside so a renter can experience the exact size of available units. Supplying customers with identification cards for authorized users is a nice addition for security; I have yet to experience how it works and the implementation. Importantly, the outside facility is well-designed to account for excellent water run-off. This is convenient location and egress is much safer now with the traffic light. The only improvement I can think of is the toll-free number. The menu options could be made a little more clear; I found myself frustrated with figuring out what number to select a few times.
