I know that these trucks are driven extensively, all the time. But the steering wheel was peeling and worn. Although I know that they clean the vehicles after each use, it just looks dirty. Not sure what the solution would be, jus an observation. It would not keep me from renting again in the future. Also, the vehicle was pretty dinged up, which is fine. It's only cosmetic issues. The vehicle ran perfectly fine from a mechanical perspective. Owner is a friendly, great guy.

The mobile pickup didn't work, then I went inside and the guy asked for my license, but I had already put all that info in online prior to coming…so I didn't bring my license. I only needed to come inside cuz mobile wasn't working, and it almost thru a big wrench in my plans.

The process to pick up a vehicle after hours is absolutely ridiculous. The website didn't work and I have to call for assistance. Too many questions, too time consuming. I had a lot of issues getting the key for the vehicle because the website would not work. I have had issues with this in the past at another uhaul location.

I had no problem with this location or the service. This was the second location I tried. The first, uHaul located in Compass Self Storage in Gibsonia PA, was a different story. I showed up in the morning before they opened (because I had reserved a truck a few days prior and they said the key would be placed in a lockbox) but both lockboxes were unlocked with no keys in them. I had to then drive 6 miles to the next uHaul dealership causing me to drive an extra 24 miles that day between my personal vehicle and the uHaul. I was charged for those extra miles in the uHaul truck. If you can avoid the Gibsonia location at Compass Self Storage, I recommend it.

The charges that I paid were a little confusing. He said it would be $44 total for renting the pickup truck. I returned it with the same amount of gas as I left with. And I drove less than 20 miles. But he ended up charging me $46.74. Overall everything else was very good.

I was quite disappointed to have my account debited after I had closed my unit because the paperwork was not processed correctly when I closed my unit on October 30th and my account was debited on November 20th. I had to call and get the money refunded only to find out my unit was never closed out on the 30th of October as it was supposed to be when I was in the office and spoke directly with Hank.
