The 26 foot U-Haul truck has a very short ramp, making it too steep to get anything into and out of the truck. As a result, one of my mover guys hurt his back because of the ramp too steep to get heavy furniture to load and unload into and out of the truck. The ramp should be longer so the slope is not too steep.Cesar C.
I registered a truck and paid online, then picked up the key at the front desk. That was great! The only thing is I was charged an amount on my credit card I'm surprised of, I wished I was emailed a break down for each charged. The front counter guy was very nice and helpful,but the lot guy was lazy intemated that he expected a tip for hooking up my trailer and walked away after hooking the trailer up without checking if the lights worked. The Really maddening this is he had the trailer behind my rental stuck to the trailer I rented. I spent another 30 minutes getting another trailer hooked up by the good counter guy who actually did his job even though the store Wa very busy. One bad apple spoiled the whole thing .Thomas D.

Low life customers but there is not much you can do about that. Truck was fine. Your reservations system was a mess and did not allow me to choose the dealer I wanted. It forced me to chose a smaller sub dealer which you later changed to another one. Then that dealer did not have the information I had put in the record about the drop off destination. Didn't make sure all the equipment that I needed it was there.they dint have my transport trailer available they send me to another location with the wrong address making me put miles on the truck and then charged me for extra miles that I didn't have to put in the truck if they wouldn't gave me the wrong address not right..Jose H.

Except for the lack of space at this location, everything was excellent. I was greeted immediately upon entering the store. My trailer was there as promised and was in excellent shape. It looked like it had new tires and safety chains installed. An employee even noticed some debris in the back and made sure it was blown out and wet moped before I left.Steven T.

Okay to start, ordered 15 foot truck four five days in advance, and texted to make sure everything was good for Saturday the 26th to pick up at 8 o'clock. No response. No one even called to let me know of the problem . Got there was told that there was not a truck available till 9:30. So waited then had to call again and was told that I would have to drive fruther to get a different truck ,(which) they did up -grade to a 20 footer that I didn't really need . Okay . Now it's almost 11:00. Then on the way to destination wind shield wiper came off while driving in the rain ,had to pull over on the side of 75 to fix . Last but not least taking the truck back to drop off, they took it on themselves to move my drop off further down the road than the one I picked when I schedule online . So now I'm driving more and had to pay for more miles=more gas . Very frustrating day when your trying to move.Robert M.

The equipment if not being properly tagged as out of service when they returned with issues. The staff runs around stealing parts from other trailers to complete the rental. The first trailer they hooked up was missing chain components and electrical connectors. They took these items from other trailers and finally got the unit hooked up. Unfortunately, the unit had bad lighting. They traded to another unit however the second unit had 3 brand new tires had one tire that was worn down to the steel belts. It was obvious to me that someone had stolen the new tire off this trailer and replaced it with the bad tire that was completely unserviceable. The installers solution was to hook up a third unit but after spending an hour at the lot I declined the third unit and accepted the unit with the bad tire. In my previous experience with U-Haul, the staff had a rolling cart containing the most common components required to complete a rental. This location had none of that. In addition, it was obvious that inspections and red tagging of incoming equipment with issues is not being done. The practice of stealing components from ready to rent hardware was shocking.Ricardo G.

I was charged on my card without knowledge when they removed the auto transport from my U-Haul. I had to find out in my credit card statement. I was overcharged almost $550 for a U-Haul that was leaking and damaged my television, clothes, and other items. (This was my second U-Haul, the fist one broke down in Texas. I moved from Oregon to Florida on my own with three animals) No one was able to help me file a claim, I had to call back to Oregon and speak to them to figure out how to do that. I needed to rent a trailer to get some of my stuff to my Airbnb that is located two hours away. I told Ashley I would be returning the trailer in Crystal River, I was charged almost $41 for a small trailer for one day. When I went to return the trailer I was charged an additional $12.72 for dropping the trailer off at the wrong location because Ashley indicated Tampa as the drop off location even though I had been clear I would be dropping off in Crystal River. She was nice enough but did not listen to me and clearly did not want to be at work. Had to speak with the manager, Kayla, to get this cleared up. She was very kind but it was too much chaos. I want to mention Cedric as he was very kind and made sure I had Kaylas number.SARA S.

My only problem is that when there is a need for customer service assistance you guys make customers jump through to many hoops to get help. i know we lived live in a technological word but many times it would take five seconds to deal with an issues by picking up a phone and talking the person. and you need to put more men on the job.Kevin G.
