The day I went to pick up I reserved a 20 ft couple days early when I got there I mentioned to the uhaul employee that was lady working that shift it was a 20 ft I was suppose to get? She did not even look at me and gave me keys to a 26 ft which I did not want because Will be hard to maneuver where I was going Not to mention when I went back in to get me a 20 ft It was a gentleman working that shift very rude I mentioned to him that I needed a 20 foot he told me that the only one he has a 26 that he upgraded me which is really not an upgrade because he didn't do me any favors and the price is the same not to mention he was very very very very very rude as I can I don't even understand why he would even have someone working in a position of Customer Service if he can handle it They were a gentleman and a lady working That shift both were very rude because of this Terrible experience I will make sure that I will never ever rent from U-Haul again or even have my family members rent from them Thank you for the bad experience 813-503-8226Laura B.

1st one broke down for 4hrs,,,the worst service ever. The 2nd one rental had an engine light on & they told me to take it anyway. (I didnt). Then they charged me for 2 days on a 1 day contract...Overall the worst experience ever.Douglas C.

The unit was barely at an operable standard the vehicle key was replicated and couldn't properly start the vehicle. When I returned the vehicle the mileage was in accurate based on the initial mileage during the time of receiving the vehicle which resulted us receiving a extra gas fee.Felicia K.

What good is contactless service when the key and extra things you ordered was not in the truck ready for pick up. Cost me 45 minutes of my time waiting in line for one counter person to take care of 4 customers. The truck inside smelt like a dead skunk when we opened it up and the cab had empty Starbuck cans rolling around. Sorry but u haul gets a ðŸ'ŽðŸ'Ž.Arnold M.

The only difficulty I had was trying to reach someone by phone with questions. The local office's phone went to voicemail, which was full, so I couldn't leave a message. I tried calling repeatedly to reach a person and was unsuccessful. The 800 number had me on hold for 20 minutes, then disconnected me. I called back, was on hold 15 minutes, and was disconnected again. I didn't have the ability to reach anyone at a time of need, which was scary and very concerning.RoxAnne I.

The truck was a nightmare! The A/C would stop working upon acceleration and during driving, the doors didn't shut unless slammed, it was so loud and shook/vibrated while driving, it made a scary noise when turning left, it was in horrible mechanical condition and had been wrecked so bad the alignment was off and was scary at any speed after 15mph. I notified the manager at the beginning of the rental and again after returning it. The staff was so nice and helpful. The truck was garbage though unfortunately I had it for about a week.Anthony S.

When I got there they were trying to charge me almost $200 more for a tow dolly I already paid for the day before. That would have been over $1,000 for a one way trip when I was originally quoted $750 over the phone. Then told me it was an extra charge to have someone attach my vehicle to the town dolly. I would think if uhaul is going to rent out equipment like that they would have someone make sure everything is attached properly to prevent any unnecessary accidents on the road. Attaching a town dolly shouldn't be an extra service provided on the side it should be mandatory that uhaul not only provide the equipment but ensure it's proper functioning as well!!!!!Shari J.
I reserved online, but was unable to do the mobile check in. Went inside and was informed that the size rental I requested was not available. The counter person got me into an alternate vehicle with only a slight delay. He was super helpful and I appreciated his finding a solution for me.RoxAnne I.

When we scheduled our appointment we were not told that there would be an extra fee for after hour return. I only specified the day I needed it....the person on the phone said pick a time so I picked 2 p.m. making return 6. p.m. They did say nobody would be there and we'd have to check out online but never was it mentioned the extra $20 for after hours return. I think that's an important detail to share. Other than that it was fine.coriena M.
The truck did have external lower panel damage, but they knew and were very good with us. Would use them again - but hopefully not anytime soon! (wink-moving twice in less than 6 months was terrible.)Ian C.

The 26 foot U-Haul truck has a very short ramp, making it too steep to get anything into and out of the truck. As a result, one of my mover guys hurt his back because of the ramp too steep to get heavy furniture to load and unload into and out of the truck. The ramp should be longer so the slope is not too steep.Cesar C.
I registered a truck and paid online, then picked up the key at the front desk. That was great! The only thing is I was charged an amount on my credit card I'm surprised of, I wished I was emailed a break down for each charged. This will help us customers to understand what we paid for and full more comfortable with the charge.Tetecia A.

The front counter guy was very nice and helpful,but the lot guy was lazy intemated that he expected a tip for hooking up my trailer and walked away after hooking the trailer up without checking if the lights worked. The Really maddening this is he had the trailer behind my rental stuck to the trailer I rented. I spent another 30 minutes getting another trailer hooked up by the good counter guy who actually did his job even though the store Wa very busy. One bad apple spoiled the whole thing .Thomas D.

Low life customers but there is not much you can do about that. Truck was fine. Your reservations system was a mess and did not allow me to choose the dealer I wanted. It forced me to chose a smaller sub dealer which you later changed to another one. Then that dealer did not have the information I had put in the record about the drop off destination. Except for the lack of space at this location, everything was excellent. I was greeted immediately upon entering the store. My trailer was there as promised and was in excellent shape. It looked like it had new tires and safety chains installed. An employee even noticed some debris in the back and made sure it was blown out and wet moped before I left.Steven T.
