Disappointed how long it took for my move out request to get processed especially because I got charged late fees and got sent an email saying I was late on my payment despite moving out and sending out request before rent date.
Great facility- clean and easily accessible
Very nice helpful staff (met at least 5 members all great), clean new storage unit, contents same condition as when we put them in after one year, no signs of pests, would recommend. We had a small unit in same building as office.
There was an issue with the electronic entrance to my unit for the first 2 months of our experience, which meant I could not access the unit after 7pm, which did not adhere to the posted schedule I had signed up for. I brought it to the attention of management and they said they were working on fixing it & apologized for the inconvenience. But upon asking for some sort of bill reduction, I was told they’d have to ask the facility head. Ivory ever got back to me & I was given the runaround a few times. That’s not right. Not giving me access at times outside my personal work hours really resulted in a terrible experience. Additionally, I showed up 10 minutes before the office closed one night & asked the staff member in duty if he could help me get into my unit as my card wasn’t working. He said he couldn’t because he was closing up. Again, awful customer service & completely inappropriate foe the staff member to value their closing over a customers needs while they were still open. While the door issue was eventually fixed, it was too little too late. We’ve since moved to another facility in the area & are having a much better experience. Unfortunately, I don’t see myself ever using UHaul again.
The staff at the East Providence, RI location are excellent, providing excellent customer service. Dawn went above and beyond to help me when I arrived it was noted that the call and reservation center did not send my storage rental information to them so they could get my ubox out of storage so I could have it transferred to a storage unit. They also gave me wrong information about what a split level unit is; luckily once again Dawn at the site location saved me from climbing stairs to get to a unit. Very unprofessional of UHAUL Call Center! If not for Dawn who went out of her way to get my ubox out from being buried among other uboxes, I would have been out $200 for the movers I had arranged. Thank you Dawn!!! As for the UHAUL Call & Reservation Center HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! The storage facility at East Providence is clean but two things I didn't like: 1. street level storage units have very low ceilings, smell damp and there is no lights so the units are dark. 2. there is no elevator for above street level storage or split levels which is ridiculous!! don't know about lighting because I didn't look at those units.

The lights in the second floor of the sstorage area are motion activated but do not seem to come on when needed.

The lights in our hallway where our storage were off. Was told to walk all the way down for them to turn on. Didn’t happen and had to pack most of it in the dark. Every other hallway had lights but ours. Rang the assistance buzzer multiple times and no kne answered or came.
great people working at a tough time
Very easy to use and safe. Even though I was moving during the coronavirus outbreak the employees at this location helped me with my move by answering questions and giving information whenever possible, making my move and storage even easier. Thank you!

I was in and out of my storage for 4 months. I find the staff very friendly and helpful. It was always clean and I had no problems. billing and payment was easy with the on line app.
Friendly staff and clean facilities. Use of storage facility was easy.
Very disappointed when I opened my storage liocker to find my items covered in mold. The queen mattress and box spring, a few tables, chair pads and linens are permanently damaged.

the card reader did not work for over a year. I informed the staff a number of times. and nothing was done.i had to keep swiping over and over and it worked a few times only.
I was told that automatic billing was set up at the time of rental start and when it came time for the second months rent we found out that it wasn't set up correctly and we had to pay a late charge
Vehicle was fine, but storage was disaster. 401-286-3267 cell. got there after hours. lock on unit. manager did come to unlock but was wrong size unit. now i have to pay for bigger unit than i want.

I was quite pleased at how U Haul dealt with my request. My cousin had cleaned out the unit, received help and greatly appreciated the staff.
Our storage unit was indoors on a second floor. It was well-maintained, clean and never felt like our belongings were in jeopardy of damage or getting stolen. Very nice facility.

I want to note that my rating is based only on the level of customer service I received throughout all of my interactions when being helped by Alex & Derek. I was a little disappointed in the unit.
The price went up way too fast... from 49.95- 74.95 in less then a year! I had to pull out!

The staff are very helpful and explains everything step by step to make sure the client understand the process im very happy i choose u haul.

I was surprised by the size of the unit. The website states it can fit three bedrooms. I believe this is true if you have small furniture. I had to purchase two units to fit a two room apartment.
Overall a good experience. If I ever needed a storage container I would come here again.
I noticed mold on items that were in the storage space. The items were in there for less than two months. Otherwise, everything was great.
It is annoying to be forced to buy a special UHaul lock, but otherwise, can't complain, it's exactly what I needed.

Worst run company I have ever done business with.
I made a reservation months in advance. When I got to there,the size I had reserved was not available. The attendant said there was nothing he could do & he had to charge me for the larger one.

I arrived 1 hour after they opened, unit wasn't ready. Wouldn't let me do paper work to set it up, told me to just come back "later." Wasted my time. I canceled my reservation and used someone else.

The pod wasn’t ready the first time the movers got there so we had to reschedule and even then it wasn’t ready. I tried calling and was waiting for so long on the phone. It’s very upsetting ...
