I was charged a$20.00 after hrs return fee. I paid for a whole day and returned it that night only using it for a couple of hrs. My phone is not capable doing u hauls app on returns. I have never been charged after hrs return fee, I have been doing business with u haul for over twenty years, and never charged that fee.

I have my own business and use moving equipment and storage extensively. I've been using Extra Space Storage, but thought I'd give uhaul a try. The managet at your Broadway Ave location in east providence was extremely unprofessional. He disrespected me by making me wait for the pickup while he conducted his own personal business. I picked up the truck late because of this. I didn't adjust my return time accordingly because I was under a very extreme time limit to conduct my business. I returned the truck after the office had closed so I had to use the self return and check out function. The next day I noticed I was charged for 2 days rental. I stopped back at the office on Tuesday, the next day and the manager was not at the location so I was told to return, that he would refund the error in 2 days charged instead of 2 day. I just latge the office after discussing the situation with the manager. He was extremely rude to me and bluntly told me tgg hi Stu returned the truck after the 4pm time I had originally indicated for return. He said that I had unconvinced the business by not returning the truck at the indicated 4pm time. I explained to him what I stated above. When I expressed my disappointment, he laughed and said sorry we can't help you. You brought the truck back, so you owed us 2 days rental. I tried to reason with the manager and he just walked away from me. I do a lot of business and even rented a storage unit at this location. If I don't get this terrible situation remedied, I will never do business with uhaul ever again and move my items out of your storage facility immediately. John Costello 401-714-2405

I had spoken to someone twice that I could not afford to pay for the unit any longer and my information was ignored and now over one year after clearing out my unit and not paying. I am still receiving a bill for thousands of dollars and continuously harassed by one of the managers after I explained my situation. If I have a financial hardship and can't pay. How do you think that is suddenly going to change. And after I had already emptied out the unit and left my keys with your associates. They screwed up and I get blamed for it. It's bad enough that when you come into the office you can't get anyone to acknowledge your presence, nevermind help you. Your business is good but individual people are so incompetent and customers should not have to suffer for their lack of professionalism. Please do better.

I returned the truck after hours as planned, and tried to do the online check in but had trouble with it on my phone. I made every effort including going on chat with U-Haul help. When I got my invoice this morning, I was charged double for all rental fees - truck, blankets and dolly. I did everything I was supposed to do and returned the truck on time but I got charged double. I went into the office this morning and was told there was nothing they could do.

Drove 6 hours but the corporate office wrote my pickup time 9pm instead of 9am so they gave my truck away. So I bid not get the truck until 12pm. Then I had to go to another location to get the auto transport. Then had to go get the vehicle and that took a few hours because they told me the auto transport had a wench to pull the car onto the transport. ( no wench) So we had to push a 3,700 pound car onto the transport. Today I woke up with back pain at 73 years old. The little people on the ground were fine but corporate should be careful before the speak. So once we left 7 hours later finally reached or destination at 11:30 pm. If the truck ready at 9am I would have been home at 6:30. Please do better next time.

Just to make sure the utility trailers are swept before customer arrives. Many times screws and nails as well as glass can be found in the trailer.
