When I parked the trailer, the parking lot where you have to maneuver the trailer, had freshly painted lines, which I ran over. The spaces had cones on the sides, but nothing on the front which would denote fresh and no sign. It had been painted overnight. When I told and showed the manager, he argued with me about the cones and whether it was marked, even in front of his staff. The staff were able to clean the paint off the tires. When I left, the staff had placed cones on the front side of painted spots, like there should've been to mark the wet paint.

Every promise made was broken. From only 2 boxes delivered instead of 3. The ignorant person I dealt with trying to get my third box . My contract said delivery on the 7th but the confirmation was for the 13th. I had to fill the third box by myself because it arrived 3 days later at 7 pm

Our experience with UHaul was sadly one of the worst we've had and made our cross-country trek incredibly stressful. We reserved our UBox well in advance of our move and were informed that it would be dropped off to us to be packed up on a specific date. I filled out the online requirements, attached a picture of where it should be left, and also wrote instructions for where it should be left. The day prior, I decided to call to ensure that my instructions were clear, and was told my order was canceled as they had "tried to contact me several times with no response", which is simply not true. I had zero missed calls or voicemails and politely told the woman this. She was incredibly rude and said she'd tried herself and that I did not have a voicemail set up, which is false. After being transferred 4 different times to rush to get a new reservation going with a deadline, I was informed that the real reason it was canceled is because their truck broke down and they couldn't deliver it to me. I was still very polite with each representative as I know that these are trying times we live in and everyone is doing their best, but while I was on hold, the woman at the East New Market, MD store was yelling at her colleague in the background and very unprofessional towards me. I was told that the box would be there the following day, but it ended up being 3 days late. I called each day and each day was told it'd be there on that day by 4:00pm. It was finally dropped off at 6:30pm 3 days later after continuously calling. We were told we only had a 24 hour turn around time due to the reservation having to be changed, and we rushed to pack up the box with all our belongings. Then, it was 3 days late being picked up after calling every day to check-in and told it'd be picked up by 4:00pm yet again on each call. It was not picked up until almost 10:30pm 3 days later than we were told. Then, once we arrived cross country, the box was another 4 days late getting to us. We were refunded $50 for each day that it was late getting to us which was appreciated, but the customer service of the East New Market, MD store was appalling to say the least and this experience has confirmed that we will not use Uhaul when we move again. I have never been spoken to so poorly by a customer service representative when I was nothing but kind and it's a shame that I was the one continuously calling seeking an update and not them proactively updating me. The Everett, Washington store was very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately this entire experience has left a poor taste in my mouth.

The whole on-line process did not work as i showed up and had to repeat everything in the office with a represnetative who did not seem to adept at what was goin on with the process. The trailer I rented was adequate, but seemed a little beat up. Everything worked out well for my trip. The return process was excellent and took no time at all.

Jeremy was awesome! He was very helpful. He bent over backwards to help my family to get on the road as soon as possible. This location installed a hitch on my truck and when we tried connecting the trailer, we found out there was a problem with the wiring. Instead of Uhaul fixing their own mistake, we had to take it to an outside source to get it fixed. So, perhaps your maintenance could be a little better

Our confirmed delivery date was not met. We had to drive an hour get the boxes ourselves. There were locks on the boxes, that we did not place, and we were not given a key. When returning the boxes to a different location the staff was rude and not helpful.

Because of covid19 there were problems, problems were not improved by service rep. Not sure why she's even there since she can't come out, we can't go in and we did everything byphone. “Our internet is down” was the excuse for problems picking up and dropping off the next day. We were directed to wrong truck and had a lot of trouble getting the code and lockbox # which ended up already being open. Also was told we were late picking it up, tho we had changed our p/u time - their internet was down and they weren't notified. My wife and I have used uhaul countless times over the last 40 years. This was the most problematic p/u and drop off.

Inital location closed corporate transfered truck to this location but internet was down and my phone was not working to secure rental. I had ordered 10 ft van but was assigned cargo van. Was told the 10ft vans were previously booked but when I return about 4pm - 2 of the vans I was told secured for someone else were still sitting there appeared unused. We made the best out of the smaller size Uhaul.

I originally entered the pick up location closest to my house. A few days before our move, I received notification that the pick up location had been moved to an hour away which was not convenient for our moving plans. I was then told that the original location we selected cannot store Uboxes. If that is the case, that location should not come up as an option for people booking a Ubox reservation. I had the reservation for over a month ahead of time so more advanced notice of the change would have been helpful or an initial note that my selected location was not an option.

The U-Haul rep. at the Grasonville, MD location was very helpful with supply suggestions (sorry - can't recall her name). Dale Williams, who delivered the empty pods, was extremely helpful with critical packing tips and just an overall great guy! Knisha, who delivered the pods to my home in Austin was a skilled fork-lift driver! Careful and exact with maneuvering the pods. Five thumbs up for the U-Pod service??????????

Worst customer service I ever experienced at any uhaul location I ever done business with, and as a military member I have been to quite a few. They were not willing to honor the contract I had, and when I asked to speak to a manager to resolve the issue, they became very rude and threw me out of the office. I had to contact the regional office manager to get them to follow through with the written contract I had through the pickup location. Something that should have taken 30 mins max, turned into a 3 hour ordeal, and that's the last thing you want when try to complete a move.

Almost IMPOSSIBLE to make telephone connections. Long waits! Passed from person to person. Same issue on delivery end! HOURS in the phone on hold and waiting to find out I needed to talk to someone else. Online doesn't provide enough options. Would have loved to do online. Even online chat?

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Had the worst time getting a U haul. After two hours of trying to get one they gave us keys and didn't tell us where it was at. Worst part was at end of day we filled the gas back up over the halfway-mark because the gauge didn't update until it was entirely full. I called and asked if we could get a refund.. the person who I talked to said yes. They called me today and said they can't give us a refund. I wouldn't have worried about it if we didn't have such POOR customer service. Im still expecting a refund. I am entirely pissed off with my interactions from Sunday.
